1.Regulation of paclitaxel on vascular endothelial related factors of serum and tissues in patients with uterine cancer
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(3):91-92,97
Objective To study the regulatory effect of paclitaxel injection on vascular endothelial related factors in serum of uterine cancer patients. Methods 30 cases of uterine cancer patients treated with paclitaxel (observation group)and 30 cases of uterine cancer patients treated with surgery (control group)were selected.Chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA)was used to detect expressions of serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF), Interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor specific growth factor (TSGF).Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the serum TNF, IL-8 and TSGF in observation group and control group(P<0.05).At 3 months after treatment, the serum TNF,IL-8 and TSGFwere significantly lower than before treatment ,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Paclitaxel can decrease serum TNF,IL-8 and TSGF in patients with uterine cancer, which provides a new theoretical basis for its anticancer effects.

Objective:To determine the di-allelic polymorphisms of TNF gene and their association with Helicobacter Pylori(H.pylori) infection and gastroduodenal diseases in Chinese population with Han nationality. Methods:Two hundreds and ten patients with gastroduodenal diseases(73 chronic gastritis,78 duodenal ulcer and 59 noncardia gastric cancer) and 264 healthy controls were genotyped by the PCR-RFLP method for TNF-? 308,lymphotoxin-?(LT-?) Nco Ⅰ and AspH Ⅰ gene polymorphisms.H.pylori infection status was determined by a validated serological test.Results:H.pylori infection was detected in 90.5% of 210 patients and 62.1% of 264 healthy controls(P

Objective To investigate the prognostic values of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet count before and after chemotherapy in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods From October 2011 to December 2012,70 patients with advanced NSCLC in Anyang Cancer Hospital of Henan Province were collected.NLR and platelet were calculated from complete blood counts in laboratory test before and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy. The patients were divided into two groups according to the NLR and platelet count:low NLR group (≤3.43)and high NLR group (>3.43);normal group (100 ×109 /L

China Pharmacist 2014;(12):2013-2015
Objective:To prepare the placebos of Sicao Tongmai capsules to provide the reference for the placebo preparation in clinical trials of traditional Chinese medicines. Methods: Taking the placebo preparation of Sicao Tongmai capsules as the example, the appearance, color and smell of the placebo were assessed by the scoring method and an electronic nose. Results:The appearance, color and taste of the placebo were in line with those of the drug powder, while there was difference in smell. The simulated clinical ex-periments showed that the placebo was difficult to be unblinded. Conclusion:The placebo can be used in TCM clinical trials, howev-er, the production technology should be further improved and modified.

China Pharmacist 2014;(5):734-736
Objective: To establish the preparation method of the placebos for Shenbawei capsules and objectively evaluate the simulation effects. Methods:Using the placebos for Shenbawei capsules as the example, a blind trial was used to assess and score the appearance, color and smell of the placebos. Results: The placebos were basically the same in the appearance, color and taste with the testing drugs. The results of the clinical trial simulation showed that the placebos were difficult to be unblinded. Conclusion:The placebos can be used in the clinical trial for Shenbawei capsules.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2007;27(5):551-3
The suppressive effect of anti-KDR antibody against VEGF on proliferation of hemangioma-derived vascular endothelial cells (HVECs) was investigated. HVECs from one case of hemangioma in proliferative phase were cultured. Both primary culture and sub-culture were conducted in M199 medium. The HVECs of passage 3 were divided into 4 groups based on the concentrations of anti-KDR antibody. Cell count was performed and inhibitory rate of HVECs was measured before and 9 days after interference. The results showed that the number of HVECs in the anti-KDR antibody-treated groups was significantly decreased and the inhibitory rate of HVECs by anti-KDR antibody (50, 10 and 2 microg/mL) was 84%, 63% and 39% respectively at 9th day after interference, with the difference being significant. In the control group, the number of HVECs was increased significantly. In was concluded that the anti-KDR antibody could suppress the activity of VEGF through blocking the KDR, indicating the potential clinical applications of anti-KDR antibody in the treatment of hemangioma.

8.Research Progress,Bottlenecks and Strategies in the Plant Bioreactor
China Biotechnology 2006;0(05):-
Past decade, plants as production systems for recombinant proteins has been actively investigated, and is one of the most active research fields in life sciences. Plants are attractive as protein factories because they with advantages of cost, scale, and safety, and emerge capability to produce pharmaceutical production with bioactivity proved by previously studies. The plant-made pharmaceuticals possess enormous viability for market and wide prospects for application. Based on those reasons, the rise of plant bioreactor was reviewed, and research advance on the expression systems and plant-made recombinant proteins was introduced. Bottleneck problems and adopted strategies using plant system to produce recombinant proteins and research hotspot in the near future were summarized, and prospect of plant bioreactor in future was described. Synchronously, some opinions including research progress of plant bioreactor, differences to foreign and strategies in the future were discussed.

China Pharmacist 2015;(6):901-903,904
Objective: To determine the optimal preparation conditions for Huangmai granules. Methods: Using single factor screening method and orthogonal design method, the extraction process and granulation process were optimized. Results:The optimal preparation process was as follows:the medicinal materials in the prescription were extracted 3 times with 8-fold amount of water with 2h for each time. The water extract was combined followed by vacuum concentration, and then dried to obtain dry extract. The powder of dry extract was evenly mixed with dextrin at appropriate amount, and the wet granules were prepared with the 40% ethanol followed by drying and size stabilization to obtain the products. Conclusion:The selected preparation process is scientific, reasonable and sta-ble, and suitable for the industrial production.
