Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(21):3229-3231
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP)in the treatment of patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and its influence on pregnancy outcome. Methods 62 women with CIN who underwent LEEP were selected as treatment group, and 63 women with CIN who did not undergo LEEP in the same period were selected as control group. Then the curative effect and the pregnancy outcome were observed. Results The total effective rate was 93.65% in the treatment group and 76.19% in the control group, the difference was significant (x2 =7.034,P < 0.01).The operation blood loss, operation time and the day of colporrhagia after operation in the treatment group were less than those in the control group(all P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in the gestational age, incidence rates of abortion and cesarean section between the two groups (all P > 0.05),while there were significant difference in the incidences of preterm delivery, premature rupture of membrane and low birth weight infant (all P < 0.05).Conclusion LEEP is an effective treatment for patients with CIN,which can increase the incidence rates of preterm delivery, premature rupture of membrane and low birth weight infant, but not increase the gestational age, incidence rates of abortion and cesarean section.
2.Experimental Studies on Ruangan Kangxian Prescription in Preventing Rats Liver Fibrosis Induced by Carbon Tetrachloride
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2000;0(04):-
[Objective] To investigate the effect of Ruangan Kangxian Prescription (RKP), a prescription mainly composed of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Catechu, Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae and Polyporus, for rats liver fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride (CC14) and to explore its mechanism. [Methods] Rats with liver fibrosis were induced by CC14 and were randomized to RKP group, normal group, Biejia Ruangan Tablet (BRT) group and model group. Serum levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN) , procollagen Ⅲ (PCⅢ ) were detected; hepatic histopathology and immunohistochemical result of transforming growth factor ?1 (TGF ?1 ) were also examined. [ Results ] Death rate of rats was reduced; serological parameters of hepatic function and liver fibrosis were improved and liver fibrosis showed by immunohistochemical method, HE staining and Masson staining was inhibited in RKP and BRT groups (P 0.05). [ Conclusion ] RKP and BRT have the similar effect in preventing CC14-induced liver fibrosis in rats and its mechanism may be related to the counteraction of expression of TGF ?1 .

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(17):1574-1576
Radiotherapy is the primary treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and the disease control rate and survival time are able to be greatly improved by enhancing the radiosensitivity. Via mechanisms such as binding to target genes mRNA 3'untranslated region (3'UTR), microRNA (miRNA) inhibits translation, which therefore regulates transcription of target genes and thus affect target protein expression. Recent research showed that miRNAs play significant roles in improvement of radiosensitivity in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This article reviews mechanism of miRNA action to strengthen radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the future of clinical practice of miRNA in this disease.
