Objective To examine the academic emotions and its relationship with academic self-efficacy among secondary special school students. Methods 352 secondary special school students were collected as the subjects.All subjects were tested with academic emotions questionnaire and academic self-efficacy questionnaire and analyzed the result of the test by multivariate analysis of variance,correlation analysis and linear regression analysis. Results Scores on enjoyment,anxiety,anger,depression,total scores on positive-high arousal academic emotions and negative-high arousal academic emotions of secondary special school girls(27.88±3.84,24.77±5.03,18.03±3.37,18.14±3.65,59.33±7.98,57.48±10.49,respectively)were higher than those of boys(26.41±4.55,22.38±5.71,17.01±3.91,16.07±3.94,57.46±9.20,53.45±11.76,respectively),(P<0.05).The academic emotions' differences among different grades of secondary special school students were not significant(F-(1,348)=1.275,P=0.226).The interaction of gender and grade on academic emotions was not significant(F-(1,348)=1.057,P=0.397).Academic emotions and academic self-efficacy was interrelated(r=-0.513～0.685).The result of multiple regression analysis showed that each factor of academic self-efficacy played a significant predictor role on academic emotions(β=-0.631～0.462,P<0.01). Conclusion The academic emotions' differences between secondary special school boys and girls are significant. Academic self-efficacy is closely related to academic emotions.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the application value of the emergency laparoscopic surgery in incarcerated inguinal hernia of children. MethodsManual reduction of incarcerated hernia was laparoscopic- assisted after anesthesia, high-ligation of hernia sac was done by one hole method of laparoscopic treatment.ResultsAll of 22 cases of pediatric incarcerated hernia were done, no complications occurred. Eighteen patients were followed up for 3 - 15 months, 9.3 months on average, without serious complications. ConclusionsThe emergency laparoscopic surgery in children of incarcerated inguinal hernia is safe and feasible,with smaller trauma, quicker recovery and smaller health risk.

BACKGROUND: By detecting vasoactive substances of experimental rats with myocardial ischemia, pharmacological mechanism of xiongbitong was studied in this research.OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of xiongbitong capsule on release of vasoactive substances of rats with myocardial ischemia.DESIGN: A completely randomized controlled study.SETTING: Department of Health, Weifang Medical College; Department of Physiology, Department of Immunity and Pathogenic Biology, Department of Internal Medicine, Weifang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.MATERIALS: The experiment had been carried out in the Laboratory of Physiology of Weifang Medical College from January 2003 to June 2003.The cleansing grade 30 Wistar rats, 6-8 months, of either sex, were randomly divided into three groups:namely, normal control group, model control group and model group of treatment with xiongbitong capsule.METHODS: [1] At 12 hours before making model, rats of model treatment group were irrigated with xiongbitong capsule 2.5 g/kg (a capsule contents dried medicinal herbs 1 g), which consists of tuckahoe, rhizoma, immature bitter orange, exocarpium citri grandis, rhizoma acori tatarinowi, moxibustion, dalbergia wood, mongolian snakegourd, curcuma root, red sage root,root of donopsis pilosula, ilyturf root, ophiopogon, polygala root, date kernel etc., and dissolved in 4 mL physiological saline. AT ten hours after making model, they were irrigated with same dose once more. The rats of normal control group and model control group were irrigated with the same dose physiological saline at the same time. One hour after the first irrigation, the animal models of myocardial ischemia of rats of model control group and model treatment group were established by injecting vitriol isoprenaline according to 10 mg/kg subcutaneously. [2] Endothelin (ET), calcitonin generelates peptide (CGRP), 6-keto-prostaglandin Fl alpha (6-keto-PGF1α) and thromboxane B2 (TXB2) in the plasma of rats were detected according to the explanation of Institute of Beijing East Asia Immune Technique. [3] The analysis of variance and q test were used for comparing between groups.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Contents of vasoactive substances in the plasma of rats in each experimental group.RESULTS: The date of all thirty rats was entered the final analysis. [1]The contents of (TXB2) and ET, TXB2/6-Keto-PGF1α, ET/CGRP: Compared with the model group, the normal control group and model treatment group reduced obviously (q=2.99-9.87, P ＜ 0.05-0.01). [2] The contents of 6-Ke-to-PGF1α and CGRP: Compared with the model group, the normal control group and model treatment group increased obviously [(603.3 ±90.6),(190.0±64.2) ng/L; (560.7±111.1), (174.9±41.4) ng/L; (380.4±705),(114.9±36.4) ng/L, q=3.88-7.64, P ＜ 0.05-0.01].CONCLUSION: Xiongbitong capsule may suppress unusual release of vasoactive material at myocardial ischemia area obviously, increase the content of expanding the blood vessel material, and correct out-of-balance of content of important TXB2, 6-keto-PGF1α, XTB and CGRP in the body.

Objective To investigate the protective effects of insulin like growth factor 1(IGF-1) on cortical neurons under condition of hypoxia and the possible mechanism. Methods Cerebral cortical neurons from newborn rats were cultured under the condition of oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD) . On day 7, neurons were treated with IGF-1 or IGF-1 plus LY294002 or PD98059 under condition of OGD or normal condition. MTT assay was used to analyze the viability of neurons in each group. The expression of total Akt and p-Akt were analyzed by Western blot. Results Compared with the control, the neuron viability was significantly higher in IGF-1 treated group under normal or OGD condition (P＜0.05). The protective effects of IGF-1 were attenuated in the presence of LY294002 but not PD98059. The result of Western blot showed IGF-1 upregulated the expression of p-Akt, which was inhibited by LY294002. Conclusion PI3K pathway may play an important role in neuroprotection afforded by IGF-1.

AIM:To investigate the effect of high glucose toxicity on JNK pathway and cell function of INS-1 cells.METHODS: Cultured INS-1 cells with or without IGF-1 exposure,were treated with glucose at 3 concentrations (5.6 mmol/L,11.2 mmol/L and 33.3mmol/L),respectively. MTT was used to measure the cell viability. Apoptosis was determined by immuno-fluorescence and flow-cytometry analysis. The serine 270 phosphorylation of IRS and phosphorylation of JNK in INS-1 cells were detected in the presence or absence of SP600125 treatment.RESULTS: The cell viability decreased and apoptosis increased with elevated glucose concentrations. The percentage of apoptosis cells was 11.3% in 5.6 G group,12.7% in 11.2 G group and 28.2% in 33.3 G group. There was remarkable increase in apoptosis in 33.3 G group with a 2.49-fold increase to the cells in the basal 5.6 mmol/L glucose. High glucose activated the serine 270 phosphorylation of IRS correlates with JNK phosphorylation in INS-1 cells. Using Western blotting analysis,the levels of JNK phosphorylation were 3.33 fold increased and serine 270 phosphorylation of IRS was 1.17 fold increased in 33.3 G group compared to 11.2 G group (P

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of rhubarb acupoint sticking joint shuganjieyu diet in the treatment of chronic functional constipation patients with depressive anxiety.Methods 120 patients of chronic functional constipation with depression anxiety were selected,they were randomly divided into control group and obser-vation group,60 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were given promoting gastrointestinal motility drugs mosapride capsules,and orally given laxatives rhubarb with sodium bicarbonate.The patients in the observation group were treated with topical rhubarb acupoint,and orally given medicated shuganjieyu diet.7 days for a course of treatment,the patients were treated for four courses.The clinical efficacy of the two groups,defecation interval and fecal nature,SAS,SDS scale score changes and quality of life (PAC -QOL)scale score changes before and after treatment and adverse reactions during treatment were recorded.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.00%,which of the control group was 91.67%,the difference between the two groups was not significant (χ2 =0.32,P >0.05).Before treatment,the bowel movement and stool ratings between the two groups had no statis-tically significant differences (t =0.23,0.33,all P >0.05).After treatment,the two points of the two groups were significantly decreased,but the differences between the two groups were not significant (t =0.18,0.41,all P >0.05).Before treatment,the SAS,SDS scale scores between the two groups had no statistically significant differences (t =0.78,0.69,all P >0.05).After treatment,the SAS,SDS scores of the two groups were significantly decreased, which of the observation group decreased more significantly than those of the control group (t =4.18,4.72,all P <0.05).Before treatment,the PAC -QOL scale scores for each dimension level had no statistically significant differ-ences (t =0.16,0.21,0.42,0.20,all P >0.05).After treatment,the dimensions of the two groups showed a decline trend,and those of the observation group decreased more significantly than the control group (t =2.10,3.56,2.76, 2.34,all P <0.05).In the control group during the treatment,2 cases of diarrhea,three cases of dry mouth,the patients were improved after given symptomatic treatment.No serious adverse event occurred during therapy in the observation group.Conclusion Rhubarb acupoint joint shuganjieyu diet in the treatment of chronic functional constipation patients with depression anxiety has significant clinical effect,which can significantly improve patients'depression and anxiety scores,quality of life,and without significant adverse reactions,it is worthy of clinical applica-tion.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a HPLC assay for determining stability of5%aciclovir ointment.METHODS:A HPLC method was used for the content determination of aciclovir in the ointment.The stablity of aciclovir ointment under humidity,light and heat was studied.RESULTS:The regression equation of aciclovir with the concentration C to the peak heights A∶C=9.310?10 -3 A+0.159,r=0.9999(n=6);the linear confine was0.6～19.2?g/ml;recovery was98.51%;RSD was0.42%.The quality and content showed no significant changes under humidity and light.The labelling amount percentages of aciclovir were98.36%,98.47%and98.26%in the test at40℃,60℃and80℃respectively.CONCLUSION:The HPLC assay is proved to be sensitive,accurate and simple.The ointment preparation has good stability in the test at40℃and under high light.

Objective To study the efficacy of gestrinone and Sanjie zhentong capsule for the adjunctive treatment of endometriesis cyst of ovary after laparoscopic operation.Methods 116 patients with ovarian endometriosis cyst after laparoscopic operation were randomly divided into three groups:A group(gestfinone and Sanjie Zhentong capsule,n=42),after operation were given gestrinone(2.5mg each time,two times per-week for 3～months)and Sanjie zhentong capsule(4 pills each time,three times everyday for 3 months);B group(gestrinone,n=38),after operation were only given gestrinone(2.5mg each time,two times per-week for 3-6 months);C group(Sanjie zhentong capsules,n=36),after operation were only given Sanjie zhentong capsules(4 pills each time,three times everyday for 3 months).All patients were followed up for 6～12 months.Results The follow-up visit rate was 96.5%(112/116).A group,B group and C group,their excellence rate was respectively 97.5%,67.6%and 65.7%,their recurrence rate was respectively 2.5%,24.3%and 22.9%.There was significant difference between A group and B group.C group(P＜0.05).Incidence rate of three groups'side effects was respectively 35.0%,29.7%and 14.3%,there was no significant difference among three groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of gestfinone and Sanjie zhentong capsule for the adjunctive treatment of endometriosis cyst of ovary after laparoscopic operation was better than that of the only medicine treatment.
