Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
Dual source CT is a kind of 64 slices CT including two acquisition systems. It possesses such advantages as higher SNR of images, higher resolution of time, lower dose of radiation, bigger FOV of scanning, wider coverage of scanning and dual enrage subtraction imaging, etc. Weather these advantages could be brought into full play has great relationship with the preparations of dual source CT before its installation. The corresponding discussion is made in this text to see how to make preparations for dual source CT in different aspects such as room building, surrounding background, power supply, fire protection, radiation protection and periphery, etc.

Objective To compare the efficacy of gradient and swim-up semen preparation techniques on pregnancy rates in couples undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles with human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) stimulation. Methods Five hundred and seventy one cycles were devided into the swim up or the gradient technique groups for sperm preperation. The clinical pregnancy rates per cycle were evaluated. Results The clinical pregnancy rates per cycle were significantly higher in the gradient group (17.8%) than that in the swim up group (11.4%)(P < 0.05). In the subgroup of unexplained subfertile couples, the gradient group also revealed significantly higher clinical pregnancy rates per cycle (33.7%) than that in the swim up group (20.3%)(P<0.05). In couples with mild male factor subfertility, the gradient group also revealed significantly higher clinical pregnancy rates per cycle (11.6%) than that in the swim up group (7.6%)(P < 0.05). Conclusion The gradient technique significantly improves clinical outcome in IUI cycles of unexplained subfertile and male subfertile couples.

Objective:Some antigens of M.tb to culture with peripheral blood mononuclear cells ( PBMC) for assaying their proliferation and activation,so as to signify whether lipid antigens of M.tb have specific immune responses in host against M.tb infection or not. Methods:We treated PBMC with several lipid antigens of M.tb to explore the ability of these antigens to activate immunity in healthy individuals. We measured and analyzed cell proliferation by labeling cells with carboxyfluorescein succinimidyl amino ester (CFSE) and subjecting them to flow cytometry (FCM).The production of IFN-γ,TNF-αand IL-4 by T cell subsets (NKT,CD4+, CD8+,andγδT) from healthy donors was analyzed by FCM after stimulation with autologous immature dendritic cells pre-cultured with M.tb lipid antigens. The tested M.tb lipid antigens were the total lipid (TLIP),Acetone-Soluble Lipids (ASLIP),Purified Sulfolipid (PSLIP),Lipoarabinomannan (LAM) and Lipomannan (LM) levels.Medium free of lipid antigens(WCL,CFP,LPS,Mtb-HAg and blank) was used as a control. Results:We found the proportion of proliferative NKT and CD8+T cells significantly increased in all lipid groups (P<0.05).ASLIP,LAM and LM promoted non-proliferative CD4+T cells to secrete IL-4 and proliferative ones to secrete IFN-γ( P<0.05).All lipid antigens promoted both proliferativeγδT cells and CD8+T cells to secrete IFN-γand TNF-α,but the proportion of TNF-α-secreting cells in these populations decreased in the LM group ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion: Lipid antigens may affect the CD1-restricted T cells of the host to fight M.tb infection.

OBJECTIVETo compare clinical outcomes of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) in treating distal tibial comminuted fractures at early and delayed stage.
METHODSFrom January 2006 to January 2012,66 patients with distal tibial comminuted fractures were treated by MIPPO. All patients were divided into primary group and delayed group according to operation time. There were 31 patients in primary group, including 18 males and 13 females aged 21 to 57 years old with an average of (39.0 +/- 17.8), treated by MIPPO at primary stage, according to Tscherne soft tissue injury, 18 cases were grade I ,12 cases were grade II and 1 case were grade III. Thirty-five patients were treated by MIPPO at delayed stage, including 16 males and 19 females aged 24 to 55 years old with an average of (39.5 +/- 15.2), according to Tscherne soft tissue injury, 6 cases were grade I, 26 cases were grade II and 3 cases were grade III. Operation time, blood loss, hospital stay, fracture healing time and complications of two groups were recorded and observed, Lowa scoring of ankle joint were used to evaluated therapeutic effects at final following and AP and lateral X-rays were used to evaluated fracture reduction and alignment.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up, the time of following-up of primary group was (13.5 +/- 3.5) months, (15.2 +/- 3.8) months in delayed group, there was no significant meaning between two groups (t = 1.882, P = 0.064). There was no significant differences between two groups in operation time and blood loss (P > 0.05), but hospital stay in primary group was shorter than that of delayed group(P<0.05). There was no significant meaning between primary group (5.5 +/- 2.8) and delayed group (6.2 +/- 3.1) in fracture healing time (t = 0.958, P = 0.342); there was no significant meaning between primary group (87.6 +/- 6.8) and delayed group (89.6 +/- 5.2) in Lowa scores at final following-up (t = 1.351, P = 0.182). Two cases occurred postoperative superficial inflammatory reaction around fibular incision in primary group, 1 case occurred postoperative superficial inflammatory reaction around fibular incision and 1 case occurred delayed deep incision infection in delayed group at four months after operation. There was no significant differences in incidence of postoperative soft tissue complications between primary group (6.5%) and delayed group (5.7%) (t = 0.016, P = 0.900).
CONCLUSIONFor distal tibial comminuted fractures with grade I and II of Tscherne soft tissue injury, MIPPO at primary stage can not increase incidence of soft tissue complications, also can obtain the same clinical outcomes just like delayed MIPPO.

This article aimed to study the antigenicity of nucleocapsid proteins (NPs) in six pathogenic phleboviruses and to provide theoretical evidence for the development of serological diagnostic reagents. NPs of six pathogenic phleboviruses were expressed and purified using a prokaryotic expression system and rabbits were immunized with individual recombinant NPs. Cross-reactions among NPs and rabbit sera were determined by both indirect ELISA and Western blotting analyses, and the sera titer was determined by indirect ELISA. Furthermore, sera from SFTS patients were also detected by each recombinant NP as a coating antigen using indirect ELISA. The cross-reactions and the sera titer were subsequently determined. Both the concentration and purity of recombinant NPs of six pathogenic phleboviruses met the standards for immunization and detection. The results of indirect ELISA and Western blotting showed that each anti-phlebovirus NP rabbit immune serum had potential serological cross-reactivity with the other five virus NP antigens. Furthermore, the sera from SFTS patients also had cross-reactivity with the other five NP antigens to a certain extent. Our preliminary study evaluated the antigenicity and immune reactivity of six pathogenic phleboviruses NPs and laid the foundation for the development of diagnostic reagents.
