?Dry eye ( DE) is a multifactorial disease of tear film and ocular surface. Inflammation in the ocular surface plays a main role in the pathogenesis of DE. Accordingly, inflammation and therapies that inhibit immune response may become topic for DE in recent years. Unfortunately, there are few studies about signaling pathway that has changed in ocular surface of DE. It is novel and there are few researches on how inflammation active signaling pathway and how it was regulated by signaling pathway on DE. This paper presents a review about inflammation active signaling pathway and its regulation on signaling pathway of DE.

Objective To realize the risk factors for postoperative healthcare-associated infection (HAI)in pa-tients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery,so as to take effective intervention measures and reduce the occurrence of HAI.Methods Prospective and retrospective survey were adopted to analyze the occur-rence of HAI and related risk factors for postoperative HAI in patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery in 2013.Results Of 432 patients,58 developed 63 times of HAI,HAI rate was 13.43%,case infec-tion rate was 14.58%.The main infection sites were lower respiratory tract (57.14%)and surgical site (38.09%). 56 pathogenic strains were isolated,the major were Pseudomonas aeruginosa (46.43%),followed by Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumonia .Univariate analysis revealed that tracheotomy,length of hospital stay,opera-tive time,intraoperative antimicrobial use were risk factors for HAI in patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery(all P <0.05).Conclusion The important measures for reducing HAI in patients undergo-ing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery are shortening the duration of surgery and length of hospital stay, taking active intervention,implementing hand hygiene,and using antimicrobial agents rationally.

In order to change the situations such as students’passivity and low enthusiasm in the traditional experimental teaching of Microbiology and improve students’comprehensive qualities,exploration and attempt on experimental teaching reforms including teaching contents,teaching modes,laboratory management and evaluation system of examination were done.Teaching practices showed that the normalized ex- periment syllabus based on the correct orientation of experimental teaching of Microbiology,the actualization of teaching mode of basic skill training-integrated experiment-designed experiment and the management of opening laboratory were effective measures in improving experimental teaching of Microbiology.

Objective To study the relationship among insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3(IGFBP-3) and birth weight, length and placental weight and to discuss the endocrine factors which affected fetal growth by assaying levels of IGF-1、IGFBP-3 in umbilical cord serum.Methods The neonates were divided into appropriate for gestational age infant(AGA) and small for gestational age infant(SGA) according to birth weight and gestation. Endostatin(ES), the C-terminal fragment of collagen XVIII, is a potent angiogenesis inhibitor. At present, there are a large number of research papers on ES. It has already been on clinical stage Ⅱ and been widely used in inhibition of neovascularization(NV). However, how to improve the bioactivity of ES is still a matter of ongoing discussion. The objective of this review is to elucidate the relationship between the modified ES and ocular neovascualrization, and to discuss the superiority based on the structure modification. The structure can be changed either by covalent modification or by genetical mutation. It is proposed that the secondary structral ES enhance the anti-angiogenic activity. Studies on modified ES also shed light on our understanding of the molecular action mechanisms of ES. Objective To explore the perioperative experiences of congenital heart disease in infants.Methods From Jan.2000 to Aug.2006,109 patients with congenital heart disease were operated in our department,their clinical data were retrospectively collected and analyzed.The patients′ age ranged from 31 days to 3 years old (13.6 months).The body weight ranged from 2.1 to 16 kg (8.6 kg).Ninety-three patients were operated under hypothermic anaesthesia with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).Sixteen patients underwent deep thermal and low flow CPB.Ultrafiltration was used in 62 patients.Results There were 8 deaths and the operative mortality was 7.3%,4 cases caused by low output syndromeclos(LOS),3 cases caused by pulmonary hypertension and 1 case caused by lung intection.The morbidity was in 25 cases(22.9%),the main complications were LOS in 6 patients and respiratory complications in 18 patients,hydropericardium in 1 case,respectively.Conclusion To improve the operative and CPB technique,and to improve the skills of the postoperative managements of LOS and respiratory complications are the main points in the success of the cardiac operation in infants.

OBJECTIVE:To promote rational clinical use of drugs by the aid of computer.METHODS:The databases for basic data of drugs,irrational use of commonly-used drugs,compatibility of agents for injection and consultation for drug use in periods of prequancy and lactation were established.Modules for inquiry,addition,revision,deletion and maintaince were designed.The computer real time monitoring system for rational clinical use of drugs was thus developed.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:This system is simple,flexible and quick,and can check the prescription and provide consultation for compatibility between drugs.It is suitable for extensive use in clinical practice.
