Objective:To understand the genetic variation and the prevalence of H9N2 subtype avian influenza virus in Guizhou province, and to provide the scientific evidence for the prevention and control of avian influenza virus. Methods:The results of AIV detection in live poultry market(LPM) environment in Guizhou province from October 2018 to March 2019 were statistically analyzed, RNAs were extracted and sequenced from the HA genes of 13 samples of H9N2 positive screened by real-time PCR. Then the homology, the genetic evolution and the mutations of important amino acid were analyzed by bioinformation softwares. Results:The positive rate of AIV was 52.2% and the positive rate of H9N2 was 83.7% in LPM environment. The homology between nucleotides of the HA gene of 21 strains ranged from 91.6% to 100.0%, and the homology between amino acids of the HA gene ranged from 91.0% to 100.0%. All strains belonged to Y280 sublineage and G57 genotype. Key sites analysis showed that they had a common motif PSRSSRGLF and LSRSSRGLF at the cleavage site, which indicated that they were lentogenic and low pathogenic strains. Mutations H191N, E198T/A and Q234L at the receptor binding sites in the HA was found in 21 strains, while indicated the viruses had the potential to bind human-like receptor. The analysis results of glycosylation motifs showed that all 21 strains had 7 glycosylation sites, but had a site deletion at amino acid site 218 and an addition at 313.There was no significant mutation in the key site compared with the human infected strains. Conclusions:The detection rate of AIV in LPM environment in Guizhou province was high, and the pollution was very serious, and H9N2 subtype is the main subtype, All H9N2 subtype AIVs belonged to Y280 sublineage and G57 genotype, and they were low pathogenic avian influenza viruses in Guizhou province, but the genetic gap were widening and mutations of key amino acid site might enhance susceptibility and pathogenicity to human beings. Hence, It is necessary to strengthen the surveillance of molecular characteristic variation of H9N2 subtype AIV.

OBJECTIVETo study the physiologic indexes, yield and the contents of alkaloids of Fritillaria cirrhosa D. Don under different temperature.
METHODThe growth temperatures (15, 20, 25, 30 degrees C) of F. cirrhosa were controlled by using artificial climate, the growth was observed, the contents of chlorophyll a and b, soluble sugar, MAD, proline of the leaves of F. cirrhosa were tested, and the yield and the alkaloids content of the bulbs were analyzed.
RESULTThe growth period of F. cirrhosa under 15, 20 degrees C were appropriately extended. The difference of the content of leaves chlorophyll b under four temperatures and the contents of total chlorophyll and chlorophyll a under 15, 20, 30 degrees C were not significant. The contents of soluble sugar, MAD and proline of leaves and the growth ratio, dry weight and content of alkaloids of bulb increased with the temperature decrease.
CONCLUSIONHigher temperature is not suitable for the growth of F. cirrhosa. Under the relatively lower temperature, the growth period of F. cirrhosa extended, the bulb can grow properly, and the content of alkaloid increased. F. cirrhosa can improve its cold tolerance by increasing the content of proline and soluble sugar, and it also can maintain the normal content of chlorophyll under the lower temperature.

Objective To assess the clinical predictability of waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) among female civil servants who had experienced risk factors of cardiovascular disease. Methods Data was gathered from 4153 female civil servants aged 21-91 y working at universities who were enrolled in health screening centre at the Second Hospital Attached to Hebei Medical University, in 2006. WHR quartiles were determined as: <0.80, 0.80-<0.84, 0.84-<0.90 and ≥0.90. Subjects were placed into high-risk categories for cardiovascular disease on the basis of national health reference on range norms of protocol including hypertension, diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia. Results Participants had an increased likelihood of hypertension (systolic blood pressure) , dyslipidemia (elevated triacylglycerol and descending HDL-C) and diabetes mellitus at WHR≥0.84. All aforementioned variables had a significant odds ratio at WHR ≥0.84. This trend was further persisted after adjustment had been made on smoking, age, and BMI. Descended HDL-C was observed at the 0.80≤WHR<0.84 when compared with WHR< 0.80. Conclusion These data indicated an upward shift in the critical threshold for WHR to ≥0.84. Above which point, there was an elevation of risk factors on cardiovascular diseases among all the female civil servants. The trend persisted regardless of smoking, BMI

Objective To explore knowledge, attitude, practice (KAP) and related determinants on nutrition among caregivers of those rural stranded children under 7 years of age in China and to provide evidence for setting up relevant health education program. Methods 1691 caregivers of the stranded children randomly selected were surveyed by a standard questionnaire. Logistic regression models were used to screen the determinants on KAP regarding nutrition. Results Rates on awareness, positive attitude and approprite behavior were lower in caregivers of children whose parents both left (47.8%, 55.4%, 41.8%, respectively) the countryside, when compared with those only one parent was away from home (59.9%, 59.5%, 38.0%, respectively). Data from multivariable logistic regression models showed that caregivers' KAP on nutrition was related to age, educational background, average family income, and willingness on the job as well as the age of the child. Conclusion Improving caregivers' KAP on nutrition and setting up appropriate health education program were in urgent need.
