1.Preliminary Study on Flare-Prediction in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(01):-
Objective To study the value of routine laboratory examinations, symptoms and soluble IL-2 receptor (sIL-2R) in the flare-prediction on systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Methods A prospective study was performed in 106 outpatients with SLE and the patients′ conditions were assessed according to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index(SLEDAI). Patients were asked to visit at no longer than 3-month interval. All patients were followed-up for 6 to 18 months. At each visit, laboratory examinations, symptoms, disease activity, as well as the changes in the treatment were recorded according to the protocol. The values of these parameters in flare-prediction were comprehensively assessed based on their frequency and time respectively when they became abnormal before the disease flare. Results Among the 106 patients, the disease activity of 67 cases were in remission and satisfied the prospective study criteria of the SLE flare. Thirty-one flares in 29 patients were observed. The frequency of flare was 0.44/patient/year. Comprehensively the most valuable predictor of those parameters was anti-dsDNA antibody, followed by complement components, sIL-2R, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), complete blood count, urine analysis, fatigue, mucous membrane ulceration, new rashes and alopecia. C3 was a better predictor for SLE flares than that of C4 and CH50. Conclusions The flares of SLE could be predicted. Early intervention will help to prevent patients from flare.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(08):-
Neurologic complications are rare but devastating events after scoliosis surgery;a thorough preoperative work-up and effective intraoperative monitoring of the spinal cord may reduce the incidence. This review discusses the incidence, preoperative work-up,intraoperative monitoring, and managing strategies for neurologic complications of scoliosis surgery.
4.Evaluation of risks perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing services
Chinese Journal of AIDS & STD 2007;0(05):-
Objective To investigate and analyze structure of risk perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing services and related factors.Method Two hundred and sixty eight VCT users were selected from 2 CDCs and 2 hospitals in Beijing and their perceived risks in the process of VCT were assessed by using self-administered question- naires.Factor analysis was performed to understand the relationship between different perceived risks, and risks perceived by different users were evaluated. Results Six factors were obtained from the factor analysis which included:fear of priva- cy disclosure, embarrassment, concern over the reliability of HIV tests, cost & time consumption, the tragic outcomes of HIV positive tests, and potential medical expenditures in the future. And the risks perceived by low and high income users were much higher than those perceived by middle income users. Conclusion There are clear structure of risks perceived by people using HIV voluntary counseling and testing, and people with different incomes have different levels of perceived risks.
7.Study on the clinical efficacy of integrative medicine for 60 maternal with viral myocarditis
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(9):1341-1342
Objective To find out the clinical effect of integrative therapy for pregnant women with viral myocarditis(VMC).Methods The experimental group 60 VMC maternal cases were treated by integrative therapy, while the control group 43 patients were treated by simple western medicine, the efficacy of two treatments were compared, and left ventricular function, myocardial enzymes and other indicators were compared. Results Markedly effective rate of control group was 48.84%,and total effcctive rate was 72.09% ; markedly effective rate of experimental group was 65.00%,and total effective rate was 91.67%.Markedly effective rate and total effective rate of experimental group were significantly higher(P <0.05).After treatment, stroke volume, ejection fraction and cardiac output index of experimental group were significantly higher than before treatment (P < 0.05 ); After treatment, the indexes of experimental group and control group were significantly different ( P < 0.05 ).After treatment, creatine kinase, creatine kinase myocardial isoenzyme, aspartate aminotransferase and lactate dehydrogenase index of experimental group were significantly lower than before treatment ( P < 0.05 ) ; After treatment, the indicators of experirnental group were lower than control group( P < 0.05 ).Conclusion This prescription is used to treat pregnant women with valid prescriptions of VMC,the clinical efficacy of integrative medicine is significant, the cardiac contractile function can he improved, and a strong application advantages is shown compared to conventional therapy with simple western medicine.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2001;14(3):189-191
Objectives: To identify the peptide sequence of a epitope and study its three dimensional structure on molecule of cyclophilin A. Methods: Using anti oyelophilin A (CyPA) monoclonal antibody (McAb D4) as the capture antibody, the library displayed random heptapeptides was screened by biopanning. The phage clones with high affinity for McAb D4 were chosen and their inserts were sequenced and then the antibody binding site was searched for on three dimensional structure of CyPA with RasMol software. Results:After 3 rounds of biopanning, 7 phage clones with high affinity for McAb D4 were sequenced and 3 different species were obtained, five of seven clones shared a predominant consensus sequence, WSLQSFL. The amino acid sequences of the inserts were compared with that of human CyPA.No homologous sequence was found in the primary structure of CyPA. With the data from PDB database and RasMol software, we found that W121,S99,L98,Q111,S110,F112 and L122 constructed a hydrophobic pocket which may be the epitope for McAb D4. Conclusions: W121,S99,L98,Q111,S110,F112 and L122 may form a conformational epitope of cyclophilin A.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(07):-
Objectives To explore the effects and mechanism of acupuncture treatment in emergent of acute hypertension by studying the acupuncture treatment on acute hypertension rats. Method The acute hypertension rat model was made by injecting adrenalin into the abdomen. After probing specific points, NO, ET-1, angiotensin and rennin levels were tested. Results Acupunctured for 30 minutes, the experimental group's diastolic pressure dropped and NO level rose, and these changes were statistically significant regarding those of the medicine control group. After the acupuncture treatment, the rennin level of the medicine control group and the experimental group were statistically different with the control group, but no significant difference was found between the medicine control group and the experimental group. Conclusion Probing Quechi, Taichong, Sanyinjiao and Neiguan may lead to the improved performance of the vessel endoderm, the rise of NO level and the decrease of angiotensin content, and consequently reduce the blood pressure of acute hypertension rats.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
A study on the optimal dilution of serum to detect anti HBc-IgM with ELISA. was carried out. Samples were diluted to 10-1to 10-7. Among 26 samples of normal individuals, 22 were negative, but two samples of 10-1 dilution, one sample of 10-2, and one sample of 10-1-10-3 were positive though the control wells were all negative. 42 samples of the patients with variours types of hepatitis B were examined. It was found that when serum dilution was 10-1, only 6 cases were positive; when the dilution was 10-2, 20 cases were positive; when the dilutions were 10-3, 5?10-3, and 10-4, high positive rates were obtained and they were 88.1%, 78.5%, and 69% respectively; and when the samples were further diluted, the positive rate decreased. In order to get goodfresults and minimize false results, either false negative or false positive, it is suggested that 5?10-3 be the optimal dilution.
