Apolipoprotein M-sphingosine-1-phosphate axis ( apoM-S1P axis ) signaling pathway consists of apolipoproteinM (apoM), sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) and sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor (S1PR).Plasma apoM belongs to lipocalinsuperfamily members , and is mainly associated to high density lipoprotein( HDL), whereas HDL-cholesterol correlates inversely with cardiovascular risk .The ability of apoM to bind S1P is due to a lipophilic binding pocket within the lipocalin structure of the apoM molecule . S1P, a bioactive mediator of phospholipid metabolism , predominantly abound in HDL among all lipoproteins.S1P can not only be used as intracellular second messengers , but also as intercellular signal molecules, activating of G protein-coupled receptors (S1PR) to mediate various physiological functions.It′s clear that apoM protects human beings from atherosclerosis .Furthermore, recent studies showed that S1P has a significant impact on atherosclerosis , and ApoM-S1P axis may play a important role in the pathogenesis or progression of atherosclerosis .

Objective To investigate the effect of SM on aquaporin-1(AQP-1) expression in rats with acute lung injury(ALI) induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Method 48 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group,ALI 7-day group,ALI 8-hour group,SM prevention group,SM 7-day treatment group,and SM 8-hour treatment group,8 rats per group. At 8 hours and 7 days after treatment,lung wet to dry weight ratio,lung pathology,electron microscope,AQP-1 immunohistochemistry,and AQP-1 Western blotting were performed. The situation of hemorheology and serum level of PaO2 and Endothelin-1(ET-1) were also detected. Results The model group rats all appeared ALI symptom. Compared with the 7-day ALI group,the degree of lung edema statement alleviated in SM 7-day treatment group. But the expression difference of AQP-1 was not significant between the two groups(P

Objective To investigate the metabolism characteristics and CD34 variance of SD rats models with type 2 diabetes renal injury with high grease feeding and low-dose STZ injection. Methods 60 male SD rats with 4-week old were randomized into two groups:10 in the control group feeding with normal forage,50 in the DM group feeding with high grease forage,which consist of 10% lard,10% glucose,1% cholesterol,2% yolk powder,and 1% sodium cholate adding into the normal feeds. Intravenous injection of STZ after feeding 4 weeks (35 mg/kg). All the rats were tested with OGTT after 10 days and 30 days injection of STZ. A few of patients with lumbar disk herniation having a separation of clinical symptoms and signs and imaging features, can be found in clinic, but the traditional theory of direct mechanical compression of nerve roots by herniated nucleus pulposus can't be used to explain this abnormal protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. The clinical symptoms and signs of the atypical lumbar disk herniation are affected by multiple factors. The indirect mechanical compression and distraction effect of spinal nerve roots may play an important role in the occurrence of the separation, and the appearance of abnormal clinical symptoms and signs is closely related to the migration of herniated nucleus pulposus tissue, transmission of injury information in the nervous system, and the complex interactions among the nucleus pulposus, dural sac and nerve roots. Moreover,the changes of microcirculation and inflammation secondary to the herniated nucleus pulposus tissue, the hyperosteogeny in the corresponding segment of the lumbar vertebrae and the posture changes all results in a diversity of symptoms and signs in patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. Besides, there exist congenital variation of lumbosacral nerve roots and vertebral bodies in some patients, and the misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis of imaging finding may occur in some cases. However, the appearance of a separation of clinical symptoms and signs and imaging examination in patients may be caused by a variety of reasons in clinic. The exact mechanism involved in the interaction among nucleus pulposus tissue, dural sac and nerve root, secondary changes of pathophysiology and biomechanics around the nucleus pulposus, the determination of lesioned responsible segments, and how to overcome the limitations of imaging all need the further researches.

Objective To test the performance of the field digital oral medical vehicles(two chairs) developed by School of Stomatology,the Fourth Military Medical University.Methods The field digital oral medical vehicle was developed by using dental health care system,diagnostic imaging systems,oral endoscopic systems,infection control systems,digital management system,the sewage treatment system,temperature conditioning systems,power generation systems,automotive GPS positioning system and other systems.Results The vehicle was characteristized by reliable performance,high degree of functional serialization,complete medical facilities and good operability of the internal layout.Conclusion Its functions fully meet the requirements in field oral disease prevention and control as well as first aid.

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),one of the most common causes of anovulation-induced infertility,is largely dependent on the influence of obesity and metabolic alterations,including an insulinresistant state and the metabolic syndrome,which consistently affect most women with PCOS.The clinical phenotype and the pathophysiological interact between obesity and PCOS have also been changed obviously in these paitients.Obesity has profound effects on the reproductive function of PCOS women and,particularly the abdominal phenotype,may add to the chances of androgen excess,PCOS,insulin resistance and hyperinsulinaemia.Obesity plays an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS and obesity-associated metabolic alterations have a long-term impact on the patients' health.

A further observation was conducted on the ultrastructure of mother sporccyst (Ms),daughter sporocyst in the brood chamber (b-Ds),migrating daughter sporccyst (mi-Es) and daughter sporocyst in the liver tissue (1-Ds) of Oncomelania hupensis by scanning and transmission electron microscopy.There are 5 points worthy of mention here,namely:(1)A special structure,microvilli polymerizing cisterna,is found on the tegument of 52-day-old Ms branche in all directions and a tubule-like structure is connected to the matrix of the tegument,The significance of this structure may be dealed with the metabolism and transport of the parasite.(2) The tegumental spines appear on 52-day-old Ms.(3) The function of multilaminated vesicle in the tegument of 1-Ds may be associated with the turning over of the surface coat of the larvae and the copatibiltiy between parasite and molluscan host.(4) Abundant ?-glycogen granules and mitochondria appear in the cytoplasm of parenchyma cell of brood chamber of Ms and Ds.It is proposed that the parenchymal cells not only served as the filling material,but also serve as the nursing cells for the regulation of asexual reproduction of the sporocysts.(5)The orientation of muscle fibers of the head of the mi-Ds and narrow node region of 1-Ds shows a well development of the inner longitudinal fibers adjacent to the outer circular muscle layer.They run anlero-posteriorly or vertically from the dorsal to the ventral.The pattern of muscle fibers may account for the activity of these regions of the parasite.(Figs 1-8)In short,the presentation of microvilli polymerizing cisterna,multilamilated vesicle,?-glycogen granules in parenchymal cell,the genesis of spine and the pattern of muscle fibers of the larval stage of schistosome might be helpful in understanding the asexual reproductive physiology of the parasite.

Objective To develop an ion chromatogram method for determination of fluoride in the sea food and meat. Methods Under the acid condition,fluorine could be separated by distillation,then fluorine is absorbed by washing liquid. The electricity lead detection-ion chromatogram with Ionpac AS14 column was employed to determine the content of fluoride,3.5 mmol/L of sodium carbonate-1.0 mmol/L of soda as the washing liquid at 1.2 ml/ min. Results The linear range was 0.05-1.0 mg/L,the relative coefficient (r) was more than 0.999 7 (n=6),the lowest detection limit was 0.3 mg/kg,the relative standard deviation was 1.00%-3.85%,the recovery rates were 88.1%-99.0%. Conclusion This method presents a good effect of pretreatment and fluorine ion seperation and with a satisfactory recovery rate,precision and detection limit.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupoint transdermal administered aniemetic herbal plaster combined with intraveous ondansetron preventing chemotheray -induced vomiting .Methods 98 cases of malignant tumor chemotherapy patients were randomly divided into the treatment group of 49 patients and a control group of 49 patients.The treatment group were acupoint transdermal administered animetic herbal plaster combined with intravenous ondansetron while the control group were intravenously administered ondansetron .The clinical effica-cy of preventing chemotheray-induced vomiting was observed .Results The total effective control rate of the treatment group was 93.9% compared with 79.6% of the control group,the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly greater than that in the control group ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion The antiemetic herbal plaster exhibited significant effect on preventing chemotherapy-induced vomiting after acupoint transdermal application combined with intravenous ondansetron .
