3.Pathologic changes of coronary artery and risk factors of coronary heart disease in young people
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(7):427-428
Objective To assess characteristics of coronary artery lesions and risk factors of coronary heart disease (CHD) in young people with coronary arteriography. Methods 192 patients with CHD diagnosed by coronary arteriography were divided into the young group (91 cases, 25—40 years old) and senile group (101 cases, 41—84 years old). Characteristics of coronary artery lesions and risk factors of CHD of two groups were analyzed, and risk factors were especially tested with logistic regression. Results Coronary artery lesions in the young group were characterized in most patients by singles vessel lesion (64%), while by multi vessels lesion (71%) in the senile group. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that risk factors such as male, smoking, hyperlipemia, family history and increassed C-reactive protein (CRP) were highly related with CHD(P<0.01).Conclusion Single vessel lesion is a feature of young patients with CHD, and independent and related risk factors of CHD in the young group are male, smoking, hyperlipemia, CHD family history and CRP.
4.Double minimally invasive incisions for surgical repair of the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2015;28(9):820-823
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the clinical effect of a new surgical approaches for repairing the acute Achilles tendon rupture.
METHODSFrom January 2009 to January 2014, 21 patients with Achilles tendon rupture were treated by 2 minimally invasive incisions and remaining skin bridge of achilles tendon end including 16 males and 5 females with an average age of 44.3 years old ranging from 21 to 57 years old. Postoperative complications, the range of movement of affected ankle joint, the circumference calf and ankle on both side, time of reture to work and sports activity were observed and recorded. The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) score was used to evaluate the functional recovery.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 6 to 36 months with an average of 13.5 months. No skin necrosis, wound infection, deep vein thrombosis,re-rupture and sensory disturbance with the ankle or foot in the sural nerve distribution were found. At 1 year after operation, there was no significant difference in the range of movement between affected foot (55.4 ± 6.5)° and unaffected foot (56.3 ± 3.7)° (t = 0.872, P = 0.325). There was significant difference in AOFAS between preoperative (65.1 ± 6.9) and postoperative (94.3 ± 5.5) (t = 7.672, P = 0.013). All patients returned to work and study at an average of 10 weeks (ranged from 6 to 15 weeks) and 15 patients returned to normal sports activities at 21 weeks (ranged from 18 to 24 weeks). Calf and ankle circumferences decreased by 0.45 cm (0.3 to 0.8 cm) and increased by 0.4 cm (0.2 to 0.7 cm), respectively in the injured leg as compared with the contralateral leg.
CONCLUSIONThe simplicity of the technique of minimally invasive incision and skin bridge for acute closed Achilles tendon reconstruction is an effective and reliable method with low complication.

5.Analysis of protoscoleces-specific antigens from Echinococcus granulosus with proteomics combined with Western blot.
Biomedical and Environmental Sciences 2012;25(6):718-723
OBJECTIVETo establish and optimize the proteomic analysis of protoscoleces-specific antigens from Echinococcus granulosus. To provide a foundation for identifying specific antigens in the soluble proteins of E. granulosus protoscoleces for further research.
METHODSBrood capsules were collected aseptically from fertile E. granulosus cysts from the livers of an infected patient. The fertile E. granulosus cysts were fractured, and protoscoleces were collected by centrifugation. The soluble proteins of protoscoleces were acquired using the 2D Quant kit according to the manufacturer's instructions. We employed two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) combined with immunoblot assay (Western blot) to analyze the soluble components of E. granulosus protoscoleces antigens. The 2-DE and immunoblot maps obtained were analyzed with PDQuest 8.0 image analysis software.
RESULTSAbout 233 soluble protein spots were identified with Coomassie-stained gels. Most of the proteins had a molecular weight of 16,000 Da to 117,000 Da, and an isoelectric point value of 3.0 to 10.0. 2-DE immunoblot was conducted and 57 specific antigen spots were observed, among which 23 spots were identified.
CONCLUSION2-DE combined with Western blot is the key to successful proteomic analysis and presents a new possibility for searching the specific E. granulosus protoscoleces antigens.

6.Comparison of the Effect of Amiodaron and Propafenone on Cardioversion of Paroxysmal Auricular Fibrillation
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(7):608-609
ObjectiveTo compare the effect of amiodaron and propafenone on the cardioversion of paroxysmal auricular fibrillation (PAF). Methods58 PAF (≤48 h) cases were radomly divide into two groups: 30 cases who accepted amiodaron 150 mg intravenous injection, and 0.6~1.0 mg/min intravenous drip afterwards in amiodaron group, other 28 cases who accepted propafenone 1.4~2.0 mg/kg vein injection, and 0.28 mg/min intravenous drip afterwards in propafenone group. If propafenone was not effective, the cases in propafenone group were given amidoaron. ResultsThe successful reversion rate was 86.7% (26/30) in amidoaron group while 57.1% (16/28) in propafenone group(P<0.05). The mean time of recovering was (101±95) min (6~508 min) in amidoaron group, while (172±148) min (11~608 min) in propafenone group(P<0.05). ConclusionIt is more rapid and effective of amidoaron on the cardioversion of paroxysmal auricular fibrillation than propafenone is.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(1):19-20
ObjectiveTo discuss the clinical significance of han nationality and kazak hepatitis B virus large surface protein detection.MethodsEnzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method was used to examine the HBV-LP、HBV markers and quantitative real-time PCR methods were used to detect the HBV DNA in 270 patients with Hepatitis B.ResultsAmong the 270 cases, there was no significant difference between the levels of HBV DNA and HBV-LP( P > 0.05 )in HBe Ag-positive patients, which was not affected by nationality.Significant difference of positive rate was observed between HBV-LP and HBV DNA( P <0.05) in HBe Ag-negative ones, which was not affected by nationality.HBV-Lp expression was significantly correlated with the logarithm of HBV DNA level ( r =0.986,P < 0.05).ConclusionThere was higher coincidence rate between the levels of HBV-LP and HBV DNA in HBeAg--positive patients. The positive rate of HBV-LP was higher than that of HBV DNA in HBe Ag-negative patients.HBV-LP could serve as a reliable marker in the reflection of HBV the replication at protein level, and it was valuable to monitor HBV replication and prognosis of the disease, especially in HBe Ag-negative HBV infected patients.
