2.High-protein diet and high-grade proteinuria aggravate the progression of chronic renal failure in rats
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2007;5(3):333-7
OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of high-protein diet (HPD) and high-grade proteinuria in aggravating the progression of chronic renal failure (CRF) in rats. METHODS: CRF with high-grade proteinuria was induced by supplying HPD in five sixth nephrectomy rats, and the changes of serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), endothelin-1 (ET-1), thromboxane B(2) (TXB(2)) and 6-keto-prostaglandin F(l alpha) (6-Keto-PGF(l alpha)) were observed. At the same time, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA), and the activities of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and superoxide dismutase(SOD)were measured in blood and renal tissue of the rats. RESULT: HPD and high-grade proteinuria could accelerate the damage of kidney through increasing the levels of ET-1 and TXB(2), reducing the level of 6-Keto-PGF(l alpha), and attenuating the activities of SOD and GSH-Px. CONCLUSION: HPD can accelerate the damage of kidney through inducing the high-grade proteinuria in five sixth nephrectomy rats, influencing the expression of kidney vasoactive substance, and reducing the anti-oxidation.
3.Effects of Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe on Blood Growth Hormone and Insulin Growth Factor in Chronic Renal Failure Rats
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(06):-
Objective:To observe effects of Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe on blood growth hormone (GH) and insulin growth factor(IGF-1) in chronic renal failure(CRF) rats. Methods:Platt method was adopted to make 5/6 kidney excision CRF model rat,and the rats were divided into model group,Huangqi group,Enalapril group,Danshen group,Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe group and normal control group according to the blood creatinine level after modeling.Effects of Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe on GH and IGF-1 levels in CRF rats with large quantity of urinal protein were investigated. Results:GH and IGF-1 levels in the model control group were significantly higher than that in normal control group, and after treatment of Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe, blood GH and IGF-1 levels were significantly decreased. Conclusion:Fuzheng Huoxue Recipe can decrease blood GH and IGF-1 levels in CRF rats, and can delay advances of CRF.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(1):70-72
Objective To establish a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of geniposide in Diaojinyao powder. Methods The HPLC system consisted of the Fortis-C18 (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5μm) column, the mobile phase consisted of HCN∶H2O (12∶88) , the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min, the column temperature was 30℃, The UV detector was set at 238 nm. Results The linear response range was 0.049~0.980mg/ml ( r=0.999 9). The average recovery of geniposide was 99.1%, and RSD was 1.66%. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, accurate and repeatable. It can be applied in determination of Geniposide in Diaojinyao Powder.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2001;0(01):-
Objective The purpose of this study was to determine the value of K-ras mutation in DNA extracted from the plasma as clinical indicator of colorectal cancer. Methods Point mutation at codon 12 of K-ras gene was assayed by polymerase chain reaction of sequence-specific primers in DNA extracted from the plasma and tumors from 32 patients with colorectal cancer. The mutation was further confirmed by dideoxy-mediated chain-termination method of DNA sequencing. Results Fourteen patients (44%) had a codon 12 K-ras mutation within their primary tumors and identical mutations were found in the plasma DNA of 13 patients (93%). Mutant DNA was not detected in the plasma specimens of 18 patients whose tumors tested negative for K-ras alterations or in 5 healthy control subjects. Conclusion Preliminary results suggest the detection of K-ras mutations in circulating DNA extracted from the plasma specimens may have some clinical uti- lity in the detection of colorectal cancer.

Clinical Medicine of China 2016;32(9):791-793
Objective To discuss the value of body adiposity index( BAI) in the prediction of the risk of dysglycemia, dyslipidemia and hyperuricemia. Methods Five thousand and thirty residents as the participants from Jinshan New Area and nearby of Jinshan,Shanghai were enrolled, including 2004 males and 3026 females. The receiver operating characteristic curve( ROC) was drew to predict dysglycemia, dyslipidemia and hyperurice?mia by body mass index( BMI) ,waist circumference( WC) ,waist?hip ratio( WHR) and BAI in different gender groups.Medcale soft was used to compare the area under the curve. Results According to the ROC analysis,in males the area under curve in the prediction of dysglycemia of BMI,WC,WHR and BAI was 0.553,0.556,0. 538,0.540(P<0.05),and 0.513,0.523,0.523,0.535 in females(P<0.05).The area under curve in the predic?tion of dyslipidemia of BMI,WC,WHR and BAI was 0.641,0.626,0.563,0.588(P<0.05) in males and 0.617, 0.613,0.597,0.587(P<0.05) in females. The area under curve in the prediction of hyperuricemia of BMI,WC, WHR and BAI was 0.685,0.665,0.609,0.577(P<0.05) in males and 0.730,0.708,0.656,0.649(P<0.05) in females, and BMI, WC of AUC were higher than BAI both in males and females(P<0.05).Conclusion BAI could be a predictor for the risk of metabolic disease, but less than BMI and WC.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
To study the level of blood selenium(Se)and nitrogen monoxide(NO)of oral lichen planus patients.Tested the contents of blood selenium(Se)and nitrogen monoxide(NO)of oral lichen planus patients and healthy cases. The level of blood selenium(Se)of oral lichen planus patients was lower than that of the control group, the situation of nitrogen monoxide(NO)was opposite, which indicated that Se and oxyradical may play an important role in the mechanism of oral lichen planus.
