Objective To investigate antiproliferative activity of endostatin(ES), the combining effect of Endostar and radiation on VEGF and apoptosis of the A549 human lung adenoearcinoma cell line.Methods The cell of exponential phase of growth were divided into the control, radiation alone, ES alone,radiation after ES(ES→RT), ES after radiation(RT→ES), radiation and ES at equal paee (RT+ES), γ-ray radiation at a dose of 2 Gy, single fracination irradiation, YH-16 10 μg/ml in the cell culture bottle. The combining effect was quantified by the survival curve. ELISA was used to observe the VEGF of radiation with ES on A549 cell lines. Apoptosis was observed by Hoeehst staining. Results There showed that both of ES and combining treatment had the function of antiproliferative. But the union treatment's function was more obvious (P＜0.05). The expression of VEGF in ES and the combining treatment group was more lower than others (P＜0.05). On apoptosis, the rate of apoptosis in ES, RT, combining treatment group was higher than others (P＜0.05). Conclusion On antiproliferative activity and rate of apoptosis, the combining of ES and radiation is better than to use them alone. To reduce VEGF of the A549 human lung adenocareinoraa cell line by ES could enhance radioresponse. There is no evidences to show that the expression of VEGF is concerned with the different choronological order of radiation and ES.

Objective To evaluate the strictness and self-consistency of the charge nurses in the nurses examination using venipunctnre trocar operation as research object.Methods FACETS,the polyhedral Rasch software was used in the examination.Results The strictness and self-consistency of charge nurses were evidently different.Conclusions The variable strictness and self-consistency of the charge nurses in the examination leads to unreliability of the results.Developing a scientific and reliable evaluation system is essential to improve the ability of the teaching nurses and the student nurses as well as the hospital nursing quality.

Objective To research the choroidal neovascularization (CNV)in TgAPPswePS1 transgenic mice after intensive light exposure injury.Methods Twenty TgAPPswe/PS1 transgenic mice at the age of 6 months were grouped for experiments.The treated groups of 12 mice were treated by a source of 10 000 lux cool full spectrum light for 6 months,12 hours per day;While the control groups of 8 mice were kept in normal conditions.The mice eyes of the experimental group and control group were examined with HE/Toluidin blue staining,the retinal structure was observed,and the number of CNV was counted.The expression of VEGF and Aβ were examined with immunofluorescence on the retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) flat mount.All of the results were quantified and statistically analyzed.Results After treated by 6 months of intensive light exposure in the experimental group,histopathological analysis has found significant loss of outer nuclear layer/photoreceptor out segment and outer plexiform layer as compared with the control group;At the same time,abnormal hypo-and hyper-pigmentation,vacuoles and disruption in the RPE layer,remarkable CNV were found in the experiment group by Toluidin blue staining,and the incidence of CNV was 18.75％.The VEGF expression domenstrated.a diffusive and deposition pattern along the neovessels which showed a significant increase of (6.59 ± 1.14) fold changes as compared with the control group.The difference was statistical significant (P ＜ 0.05).Then the Aβ deposits were positive expressed in the RPE layers after intensive light exposure treatment,and pathological deposition of Aβ in the RPE showed plaque like displayed by confocal Z-stack microscopy,and the drusenoid Aβ deposits were found alone with the neovessels on the RPE flat mount.The deposition of Aβ protein increased with (6.45 ± 2.93) fold changes as compared with the control group,and the difference was statistical significant.Conclusion CNV with degenerative changes in the outer retina can be induced by intensive light exposure in the APPswe/PS1 transgenic mouse.These results suggest that an Alzheimer's transgenic animal model might be an alternative animal model for CNV if combined with intensive light exposure.

Objective To research the functional and structural change in TgAP-PswePS1 transgenic mice after intensive light exposure insult.Methods APPswe/PS1 transgenic mice at the age of 6 months old were grouped for experiments,the transgenic mice were replaced by light insult device for 6 months,while the control mice were kept in normal conditions.After 6 months light exposure,the eyes of control and experimental mice were examined with electroretinography (ERG).The retinal morphology change was investigated with H&E staining.All of the results were quantified and statistically analyzed.Results In the control group,the amplitudes of a and b wave in the rod response were (18.33 ±3.53) μV and (107.58 ± 14.72) μV,while (64.80 ±7.57) μV and (178.76 ± 14.47) μV for the amplitudes of a and b wave in the maximum response;After treated by 6 months of intensive light exposure,in experimental group mice,the amplitudes of a and b wave in the rod response were (17.92 ±4.89) μV and (21.83 ± 5.51) μV;While in the maximum response a striking decrease was detected with a wave (18.23 ±4.44) μV and b wave (24.50 ± 4.49) μV,by compared with control group,the difference were statistical significant (all P ＜ 0.05).Histopathological analysis found significant loss of outer nuclear layer,photoreceptor out segment,whereas controls remained little change in the retina.And the retinal thickness decreased significantly from (181.32 ± 13.47) μm in control group to (102.34 ±9.38) μm after light insults in experimental group,the difference was statistical significant (P =0.017).Conclusion Intensive light exposure can cause the retinal structural and functional disorder in the AP-Pswe/PS1 transgenic mouse.

Objective To study the effects ofXuling-Jiangu formula on bone mineral density and the bone biomechanic in the osteoporosis model rats.Methods According to the random number table method, 40 SD female rats were randomly divided into the caltrate D group, theXuling-Jianguformula group, the model group and the sham group,10 rats each group. In addition to the sham group, the other groups were osteoporosis model. After 30 days, the Caltrate D group received intragastric caltrate D mixed suspension 0.126 g/kg; the Xuling-Jiangu formula group receivedXuling-Jianguformula solution 15 g/kg, and the sham group and the model group received normal saline 10 ml/kg. After 12 weeks treatment, detection of left tibia bone mineral density andthree-point bending method was used for biomechanical testing.Results The mineral density of the Xuling-Jiangu formula group (0.244 ± 0.022 g/cm2,0.195 ± 0.017 g/cm2vs. 0.223 ± 0.013 g/cm2) were significantly higher than the model group and caltrate D group (P<0.01); compared with the model group, the bone biomechanictests in theXuling-Jiangu formula group (0.072 ± 0.036 kN vs.0.041 ± 0.015 kN; 843.754 ± 428.722 N/mm2vs. 482.084 ± 176.646 N/mm2) were significantly higher (P<0.05).ConclusionXuling-Jiangu formula canimprove the bone mineral density and the bone lbiomechanic of osteoporosis rats.

Objective:To explore the effect of therapeutic communication on infusion safety, disease uncertainty, coping styles, anxiety and depression in patients with emergency infusion.Methods:A total of 126 patients treated with infusion patients in emergency department in Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from July 2019 to December 2019 were selected and divided into two groups by random digits table method with 63 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine nursing, and patients in the intervention group received therapeutic communication nursing intervention on this basis. The incidence of adverse events of infusion during the intervention of the two groups of patients was observed. The disease uncertainty, coping styles, anxiety and depression were evaluated by Mishel's Uncertainty in Illness Scale (MUIS), Medical Coping Mode Questionnaire (MCMQ), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depressive Scale (SDS) before and after intervention.Results:The final collection of 109 patients with complete questionnaire, the recovery rate was 86.51% (109/126), including 55 cases in the intervention group, 54 cases in the control group. The incidence of adverse events of infusion was 16.36%(9/55) in the intervention group and 29.63%(16/54) in the control group, and there was significant difference( χ2 value was 5.057, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the score of MUIS, MCMQ, SAS, SDS before the intervention between the two groups ( P>0.05). After the intervention, the uncertainty, unpredictability, lack of information and complexity dimension of the intervention group patients' MUIS scores were respectively (17.76 ± 2.49), (12.03 ± 2.51), (11.82 ± 2.12), (11.74 ± 2.24), which were lower than those in the control group (24.72 ± 2.94), (16.31 ± 2.27), (16.13 ± 2.51), (15.39 ± 2.31), the differences were significant( t values were -13.346- -8.375, P<0.05). The confront score of the intervention group patients' MCMQ was (19.13 ± 2.62) higher than that in the control group(13.79 ± 1.96), the avoidance and yield scores were respectively (8.71 ± 1.34), (9.81 ± 1.17), which were lower than those in the control group (14.57 ± 1.93), (15.12 ± 1.86), the differences were significant( t values were 12.031, -18.441, -17.875, P<0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in the intervention group were (29.43 ± 3.62), (27.67 ± 3.11) respectively, which were lower than those in the control group (37.44 ± 5.31), (40.12 ± 4.92), the differences were significant( t values were -9.216, -15.821, P<0.05). Conclusions:Therapeutic communication can reduce the risk of emergency infusion, reduce the uncertainty of patients to the disease, improve patients' countermeasures to the disease, relieve patients' anxiety and depression, and improve the nursing quality of emergency infusion patients.

Research on the association between maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia has generated inconsistent results. This meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the association between maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia. A literature search of PubMed and Embase was performed to identify relevant papers published before March 2013. Only observational studies that assessed maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia were selected. Patients' periodontal status was examined at different time points during pregnancy or after delivery (at 14-32 weeks of gestation, within 48 h prior to or within 5 days after delivery). Pooled odds ratios (ORs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated for cases and controls. Cases were defined as women with concurrent hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks of gestation. Eleven studies involving 1118 women with preeclampsia and 2798 women without preeclampsia were identified and analyzed. Women with periodontal disease before 32 weeks of gestation had a 3.69-fold higher risk of developing preeclampsia than their counterparts without periodontal disease (OR=3.69; 95% CI=2.58-5.27). Periodontal disease within 48 h prior to delivery was associated with a 2.68-fold higher risk of preeclampsia (OR=2.68; 95% CI=1.39-5.18). Pregnant women with periodontal disease within 5 days after delivery had a 2.22-fold higher risk of preeclampsia than women without periodontal disease (OR=2.22; 95% CI=1.16-4.27). In conclusion, this meta-analysis suggests that maternal periodontal disease is an independent predictor of preeclampsia.

Objective To elucidate the effects of erythromycin derivative,9(S)-hydroxyerythromycin, on the expression of NF-?B in active T lymphocytes,and evaluate the potential role in the treatment of rheuma- toid arthritis(RA).Methods Jurkat T cells were exposed to 100 pmol/L tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-?with or without pretreatment with 3,10,30 or I00?g/ml of erythromycin or 9(S)-hydrnxyerythromycin 1 h at 37℃. The expression of NF-?B was measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blot.Results Erythromycin and 9(S)-hydroxyerythromycin decreased the expression of NF-?B mRNA and protein in a dose-related fashion.The treatments with erythromycin(100?g/ml)and 9(S)-hydrox- yerythromycin(100?g/ml)resulted in about 36%,45% reduction of NF-?B mRNA(P

Objective To study the influence of low-iodine diet on the expression of homeobox gene Nkx-6.1 and Nkx-6.2 in rat cerebrum tissue, and to explore the possible molecular mechanism of cerebrum development retardation caused by low-iodine. Methods Twenty female Wistar rats were randomly equally divided into two groups: low-iodine group and control group, both fed with low-iodine diet as low as 13.66 μg/kg determinated by spectrophotometry in Tianjin Institute of Endocrinology and the former with deionized water, the later 200 μg/L potassium iodate. Thyroid hormone level was detected using chemiluminescence immunoassay 3 months later and they were mated with male rats normally fed. Rats of 16-day pregnancy, new-born and 20th days old were detected the content of Nkx-6.1 and Nkx-6.2 mRNA in the cerebrum tissue by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR 0.61), (3.28±0.80)pmol/L] were lower than the control group[(1.04±0.06), (39.42±14.68)nmol/L, (4.83±0.33), day pregnancy, new-born and 20th days old of control group was (1.90±0.23)×10-3,(1.86±0.40)×10-4, (1.11± 0.27)×10-4(F=827.58, P<0.01), Nkx-6.1 mRNA expression level gradually decreased along with aging(all P<0.05). The intra-group difference was significant (F=297.25, P<0.01) and the Nkxr.1 mRNA expression level during 16 days of pregnancy was the highest(P<0.01). It was higher in the control group than in the low-iodine group during 16 days of pregnancy (t=10.14, P<0.01) as well as in the low-iodine group than in the in 16-day pregnancy, new-born and 20th days old of control group was respectively(1.03±0.19)×10-2, (1.33± 0.10)×10-3, (8.79±0,87)×10-3, and that of low-iodine group was (0.31±0.03)×10-2, (1.53±0.13)×10-3, (7.51±0.86)×10-2. The intra-group difference was significant(F=1293.02,1065.83, all P<0.01). Nkx-6.2 expression level during 20th days old was the highest(P<0.01) and that of newborn was the lowest(P<0.01). The Nkx6.2 mRNA expression level in control group were higher than the low-iodine group during 16-day pregnancy and 20th days old(t=14.35, 4.05, all P<0.01). It was higher in the low-iodine group than in the control group during newboru(t=4.78, P<0.01). Conclusions The difference in the expression of Nkx-6.1 and Nkx-62 is highly related to the brain development retardation caused by low-iodine.
