In the therapeutic application of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma ( HNSCC),S-1 is used to combine with other chemotherapeutics or even with radiotherapy to constitute chemoradiotherapy regimens.Adverse effects are well tolerated.Regimens containing S-1 are wildly used to control distant metastasis as well as local recurrence. The studies of treatment also show good application value.

Chinese Journal of Nursing 2017;52(1):115-118
Objective To investigate the cognition of nurse groups toward nurses' dual practice, and to analyze nurses' tendency to pursuc dual practice and its influencing factors. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted, and 1010 registered nurses were recruited using stratified sampling method. Results Most (76.4%) nurses agreed with nurses' dual practice. The willingness about nurses' dual practice was significantly different(P=0.022,P=0.008) due to different age and length of service. The top three benefits of nurses' dual practice were to increase reasonable salary of nurses, improve quality of nursing care in community institutions for the aged and increase the utilization of health care resource. As for the disadvantages, disrupting the medical and nursing order, increasing difficulties of management and government's supervision, increasing medical risks.Nurses believed that the main obstacles for nurses' dual practice were the unclear medical risks and the unprotected nurses' interests. Conclusion The nurse groups had a positive and optimistic attitude towards nurses' dual practice. In the case that the government implements relevant laws and regulations, and the interests of nurses are well-guaranteed,nurses' dual practice is a good measure that can improve nurses' work motivation.

Objective To discuss the difference of levels of serum and urinary iodine and thyroid function in painless thyroiditis patients and other thyroiditis patients. Methods The patients who were preliminary diagnosed as having higher level of serum thyroid hormone were divided into Graves' disease group, subacute thyroiditis group and painless thyroiditis group. Then all the patients were divided into another two groups according to the level of autoantibody. The value of serumal thyroid hormone and serumal iodine and urinary iodine were measured and the relationship between the groups and the value were observed. Results There was close relationship between serum T 3,T 4,urinary iodine and the types of thyrotoxicosis. Conclusion The morbidity of painless thyroiditis is not uncommon.Clinical situation, serumal iodine, urinary iodine and serumal thyroid hormone may be useful for clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis of painless thyroiditis.
5.Interpretation of intrinsic capacity in the elderly and research progress
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2021;40(4):524-527
WHO proposed the concept of intrinsic capacity in the World Report on Aging and Health in 2015.As the basis of functional ability in the elderly, intrinsic capacity plays an important role in maintaining the quality of life and promoting healthy aging. However, research on intrinsic capacity is still in its infancy. This article reviews research progress on intrinsic capacity, including the concept, domains, screening methods and its impact on the health of the elderly, in order to provide a reference for further research on this subject.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;9(1):17-20
Objective: To improve clinical utility of the Nurses Observation Sca le for Inpatient Evaluation (NOSIE-30) in China. Methods: Based on the original scale, which only provides names and ranked scores for items, we developed clear definitions for each item and anchoring descriptions for score rating. 164 firs t-episode schizophrenic patients were evaluated with this scale every two weeks after admission. A total of 994 evaluations were completed. The collected data w ere randomly divided into two independent data sets. The number and content of t he subscales were revised based on principal component factor analysis and item analysis of the first data set. The revised scale was then evaluated and compare d with the original 7-subscale version of the instrument using the second data s et. Results: Factor analysis found that the factor structu re of the revised scal e was markedly different from that of the original instrument. Item analysis res ulted in elimination of 30 original items and redistribution of the remaining 26 items into 5 subscales. Comparison of the revised scale with the original instr ument revealed better psychometric properties for the former than the latter. Conclusion: The subscale scores of the original 7-subscale v ersion of NOSIE-30 did not reflect independent symptom clusters in Chinese schizophrenic inpatients. T o improve the usefulness of the scale in China, the present study recommended a better revised scale with re-definition of items into 5 subscales.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2012;32(10):665-668
Objective To compare the Helicobacter pylori (Hp) eradication rate of different therapies and to explore the effects of Hp eradication on the clinical characteristics of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods From December 2006 to December 2009,at China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University 89 stable COPD patients with Hp infection were divided into eradication group and non-eradication group. The eradication group was divided into clarithromycin sub group and moxifloxacin sub group. The patients of these three groups all received regular COPD treatment.Esomeprazole, amoxicillin, clarithromycin and colloidal bismuth citrate were used in clarithromycin group.Esomeprazole, amoxicillin, moxifloxacin and colloidal bismuth citrate were used in moxifloxacin sub group.Patients received pulmonary function test, exercise tolerance evaluation, dyspnea scoring and health-related quality of life scoring at recruitment and 12 months after recruitment. The onset frequenly of acute exacerbation of COPD in one year was counted. The data were analyzed by x2 test and t test. Results The Hp eradication rate of clarithromycin sub group (48.4 %,15/31) was lower than that of moxifloxacin sub group (87.1%,27/31),and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =4.22,P=0.032).There was no significant difference percentage of forced expiratory volume in first second to forced vital capacity in (FEV1%) predicted value between 27 cases in non-eradication group and 53 patients with successful Hp eradication (t=0.677,P=0.265).Of 53 patients with successful Hp eradication, the 6-min walking distance,Borg dyspnea score and saint George's respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ) score were improved significantly (t =1.884,1.877 and 1.773 respectively; P=0.032,0.025 and 0.034 respectively),and there was no improvement in 27 non-eradication patients. There was significant difference in the frequency of COPD acute attack between 53 patients with successful Hp eradication (1.2 times) and non-eradication group (1.9 times) (t=1.812,P =0.034).Conclusions Hp eradication therapy with moxifloxacin in COPD patients reached higher Hp eradication rate.Hp eradication in COPD patients with Hp infection can improve the exercise tolerance of patients, relieve dyspnea, improve quality of life and reduce the frenquency of acute attacks.

BACKGROUND:Resin infiltration is a novel approach in treating non-cavitated caries lesions on smooth surfaces, and the effectiveness comparison between resin infiltration and remineralizing therapy is required.
OBJECTIVE:To compare the effects of resin infiltration and remineralizing therapy on inhibition of non-cavitated lesions in vitro.
METHODS:Three subsurface lesions were created on 35 bovine labial specimens. One of the lesions was permeated with Icon? infiltrant, one was applied by 0.1%NaF solution daily for 7 consecutive days, whereas one lesion remained as the untreated control. Subsequently, half of each specimen was covered with nail varnish
(baseline) and the other half was re-exposed to a demineralizing solution for 5 days (experimental). The specimens were cut perpendicularly to the surface, stained with Rhodamine B and observed with fluorescence microscope.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:For lesions permeated with Icon? infiltrant and applied by 0.1%NaF solution, the progression of lesion depth was significantly decreased (P<0.05) compared with the untreated control. Lesions permeated with Icon? infiltrant got more significantly reduced lesion progression (P<0.05) compared with the ones applied by 0.1%NaF solution. It can be concluded that both resin infiltration and remineralizing therapy have active effects on inhibition of non-cavitated lesions, and fil ing the pores with Icon? infiltrant can inhibit further demineralization even better.
