Objective To discuss the early recognition and treatment of group B streptococcus (GBS) infection caused neonatal meningitis and subdural effusion. Method The onset, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment process were retrospectively analyzed in one case of typical GBS infection caused neonatal meningitis and subdural effusion. Results The subject was late-onset GBS infection, with insidious onset, rapid progress, slow clinical recovery, and highly sensitive to vancomycin. During the treatment, the subject had relapses. The subdural effusion had been found. After extension of vancomycin treatment, the subject recovered. Conclusions The late onset GBS infection should be taken seriously in clinical, pay attention to the complications such as purulent meningitis, subdural effusion, hydrocephalus, and be early treated with adequate and effective antibiotics.

5.Effectiveness of dexmedetomidine on preventing shivering after general anesthesia in patients with spinal surgery: a prospective, single-blind, randomized, and controlled clinical experimental study

Objective To investigate effectiveness of dexmedetomidine on preventing shivering of patients after spinal surgery.Methods A total of 78 cases with spinal surgery under anesthesia were randomly divided into study group(dexmedetomidine treatment) and the control group(saline treatment).Heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure were observed and recorded at 15,30,60 min after intubation,before and after extubation.Ramsay sedation score,chills grading,chills occur time and postoperative adverse reactions were recorded.Results In study group,HR were ((72.3 ± 5.2) time/min,(83.2 ± 4.5) time/min),mean arterial pressure were((72.7 ±5.0) mmHg,(90.3 ±7.9) mmHg) at before and after extubation,significant lower than that of control group((73.6 ±4.9) time/min,(88.9 ±4.9) time/min; (78.5 ±4.3) mmHg,(95.5 ± 14.9)mmHg;P<0.05).The incidence of shivering (7.7%) in study group was significantly lower than the control group(30.8 %,x2 =6.685,P =0.009).Ramsay sedation score at immediately,30 min,60 min into the PACU were (3.1 ± 1.0),(2.1 ± 0.4),(2.0 ± 0.3) respectively,higher than those of control group ((2.0 ± 0.4),(1.3±0.2),(1.1 ±0.3) ; F inter-group =12.543,P<0.001;F inner-group =9.391,P <0.001;F interaction =5.972,P =0.023).The incidence of adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting in the control group was higher than those of the study group(P =0.003),while the incidence of dry mouth in study group was higher (P =0.002).Conclusion Intraoperative dexmedetomidine can significantly reduce the incidence and degree of shivering in patients with orthopedic spinal surgery after general anesthesia.Dexmedetomidine is proved to be a more ideal drug to prevent shivering in orthopedic spine surgery after general anesthesia.
6.Effect of ego depletion and emotion regulation on students' health consumption choice

Objective · To test the effect of ego depletion and emotion regulation on students' health consumption choice, according to online social network. Methods · The undergraduate students in a university in East China were taken as the researchobject. Public health psychology experiments were designed, using Stroop priming the extent of ego depletion, and SSEIT measuring the extent of emotional regulation. Results · When participants experienced high level ego depletion, for those who possessed weak emotional regulation capability, they were more inclined to select less healthy food(77% vs 18%, χ2=15.40, P=0.000). For those who possessed strong emotional regulation capability, there was no significant difference on food choice between those who experienced high level ego depletion and those who experienced low level ego depletion (40% vs 27%, χ2=0.91, P=0.340).For participants who experienced high level ego depletion, compared to those who overcame ego depletion and those who experienced low level ego depletion, were moreinclined to select less healthy product (69% vs 23%, χ2=11.10, P=0.001), while there was no significant difference between those who experienced low level ego depletion and those who overcame ego depletion (32% vs 23%, χ2=0.51, P=0.470). Conclusion · When students experienced different level ego depletion, they chose different healthy consumption choice because of the different capability of emotional regulation. For students who possessed weak emotional regulation capability, they should be encouraged to choice healthy consumption, and interesting show should be organized to bring them positive emotion. They should also be encouraged to do long-term physical training to overcome the sensitivity tofatigue. Finally, They should be informed to realize the healthy consumption by active communication and interaction such as like, share and comment in social media.
7.Effects of Xuebijing injection on inflammatory response in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome

Objective To evaluate the effects of Xuebijing injection on inflammatory response in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS) by the changes of the level of PCT in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and plasma so as well as serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) 、interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-8( IL-8). Methods Sixty patients treated at the intensive care unit(ICU) were recruited in this study;these subjects satisfied the diagnostic criteria for ARDS. They were randomly classified into two groups: study group ( 30 patients) in which patients were given Xuebijing injection 100ml and 5% Glucose injection 150 ml daily,and control group(30 patients) patients were given 5% Glucose injection 250ml daily. The changes of the level of PCT in BALF and plasma so as well as serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were monitored before intervention and seven days later. Results The level of PCT in BALF and plasma before intervention were statistically higher than normal( t= 2.882、2.657 all P <0.01 )while decreased significantly seven days later ( all P < 0.01 ) in study group but fewer change in control group ( all P >0.05 ). Levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were statistically higher than normal before intervention( all P < 0.05 ) while decreased significantly seven days later( all P <0.01 )in study group but fewer change in control group( all P >0.05 ). The mortality of patients was 26.7% ( study group) and 33.3% ( control group) ( all P < 0.05 ) respectively.Conclusion Xuebijing injection could lower the level of PCT in BALP and plasma of patients with ARDS,played the role of antiinflammatory and improving the oxygenation, and could to reduce the mortality of patients.
8.Eye removal combined with hydroxyapatite prosthetic foetus implantation: clinical observations

目的观察羟基磷灰石义眼胎植入术临床效果。方法 40只眼于眼球摘除同时植入羟基磷灰石义眼胎。义眼胎用自体巩膜包裹,植入眼眶深部,眼外肌固定于巩膜上,分层缝合眼球筋膜和球结膜。结果随访1~5年,3 6眼术后半年以上行羟基磷灰石义眼胎钻孔栓钉植入术,成功安置活动义眼。1只眼义眼胎暴露行再次手术修补,1眼术后2个月发生绿脓杆菌感染,经治疗痊愈。结论羟基磷灰石义眼胎具有良好的组织相容性,是理想的眶内植入物材料。
