Objective Tumor vessels were foundation of tumors’formation, growth and metastasis, and the destruction of a spot of them would lead to wide avascular necrosis of tumor cells,so the specific killing effect on tumor vasculature endothelial cells had become one of the most important strategies for tumor therapy. Endostar,a novel recombinant human endostatin expressed and purified with an additional nine-amino acid sequence,is a new anti-drug. This study aimed to determine how endostar to affect the behavior of endothelial cells and tumor endothelial cells in vitro and in vivo. Methods Human umbilical vein endothelial cells ( HUVEC) was isolated and cultured followed by identification with Ⅷ factor related antigens. The cells differentiated into tumor-derived endothelial cells ( Td-ECs) by co-culturing with supernatants of A549 cells. The anti-effect of endostar on Td-ECs was detected with MTT assay, cell migration assay, flow cytometry and TUNEL assay. Results Endostar had a significant effect on the proliferation of Td-EC in a time-and concentration-dependent manner. At the same time, though Endostar at a certain concentration inhibited cell migration process significantly, arrested the cells at G0 /G1 and S phases and induced cell apoptosis ( P 0. 05) . Conclusion Our study indicates a novel function of endostar,to inhibit and Td-ECs proliferation in vitro. So,using endostar for cancer therapy is worthwhile for further study in clinical trials.

OBJECTIVE: To study the bacteriostatic action of Yiqing capsule against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis in vitro.METHODS: Propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were cultured by microplating method and routine plating, and the bacteriostatic action of different concentration of Yiqing capsule and its main components against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were determined by measuring their MICs.RESULTS: The MICs of Yiqing capsule and Scutellaria baicalensis extractum against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were 0.98 mg?mL-1 and 1 mg?mL-1,respectively,whereas the MICs of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei and Rhizoma Coptidis Scutellaria extractum against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were 1.96 mg?mL-1 and 1 mg?mL-1,respectively.CONCLUSION: Yiqing capsule showed satisfactory bacteriostatic action against the major pathogenic bacteria of acne.

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2001;7(2):69-71
Objective To search for a simple and rapid skin expansion. Methods CCPSEPA-A kind of mutual feedback type continuous normal saline perfusion system was assembled with the use of conventional transfusi on apparatus, sphygmomanometer, three-way stopcocks, plasma bag etc.14 cases ( 17 expanders) were carried out with such a device, controlled by patients themselves. Results The volume of expanders was 50~300 ml and the duration of expansion was 7~14 days. All the cases proved a wonderful effect that the expansion was finished by only one or two times of water filling of storage water bag, and without any complications. Conclusion CCPSEPA is a new skin expansion apparatus of new type and practical ,simple and low price .The general goal of safe, simple, rapid and useful was realized basically by the device, and worth popularizing.

Objective To show left anterior descending artery and interventricular septal branch Doppler flow and Doppler flow spectrum using coronary Doppler flow imaging, provide reference to select target artery, and judge collateral circulation formation after percutaneous transluminal septal myocardial ablation (PTSMA) of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Methods In 28 patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy left anterior descending artery and interventricular septum branch flow were displayed using coronary flow Doppler imaging system before and after PTSMA,and flow velocity were measured by Doppler spectrum. Results In 22 patients the target arteries were successfully selected in the first time using coronary flow Doppler imaging combined with coronary angiography and proved by the results of PTSMA. In 2 patients PTSMAs were performed successfully after additional choosing other interventricular septal branch. Therefore,PTSMAs in 24 patients were performed effectively in total. In 4 patients PTSMAs were given up due to vessel thinness and suffusion of interventricular septal branch in 2 patients, myocardial contrast agent distributing right ventricular and right ventricular papillary muscle during operation in one patient and contrast agent distributing left ventricular papillary muscle in another patient. Left ventricular flow tract pressure rebounded in 5 patients postoperatively, and neighboring interventricular septum branch extending to melting area were seen in 3 patients accompanied by flow velocity increasing. Melted vessel nub markedly prolonged in 1 patient. Conclusions Coronary Doppler flow imaging can directly reveal interventricular septum branch flow in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, provide detailed hemodynamic information for myocardial PTSMA and monitor PTSMA for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy effectively and reliably.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 1997;0(04):-
Objective To study the correlation of replication efficiency and antigen expression of hepatitis B virus (HBV) strains in patient sera and transfected cells. Methods Quantification of five maternal serum HBV DNA was carried out using dot hybridization and polymerase chain reaction-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (PCR-ELISA), hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) levels in the sera were determined by ELISA. Full-length genomes of HBV strains cloned from five pregnant women were separately used to transfect HepG2 cells. The levels of HBsAg and HBeAg in the supernatant of transfected cells were determined with Abbott EIA kits, the replication efficiency of intracelluar replicative intermediates and extracellular HBV DNA of viral particles was analyzed by Southern blot and hybridization. Results Intracellular and extracellular HBV replication and antigen expression of cloned HBV strains showed positive correlation tendency with the HBV DNA and antigen levels in serum samples. Conclusions Virus replication efficiency and expression of HBsAg and HBeAg by full-length HBV clones are in relative coincidence with the biological characteristics of HBV strains in patients. Cell transfection can be used to study the biological characteristics of individual isolates.
