Objective To explore the causes of congenital hypothyroidism by single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT) thyroid imaging. Methods Nineteen cases with congenital hypothyroidism were collected, and SPECT thyroid imaging was performed 15 minutes late after injected 99m TcO_ 4- 18.5-37.0 MBq.Results Five cases were found with normal glands,1 case with enlarged thyroid, 2 cases with enlarged thyroid and increased radiation,4 cases with ectopic thyroid,4 with a hypogenetic thyroid, and the last 3 cases showed no thyroid imaging. Conclusions The causes of congenital hypothyroidism can be found by SPECT thyroid imaging, which is important to the diagnosis of congenital hypothyroidism combined with detection of T_3,T_4,TSH.

Objective To evaluate transthoracic echocardiographic guidance for closure of atrial septal defects with Amplatzer occlusion device in the adults Methods Thirty patients with atrial septal defects were occluded by use of Amplatzer septal occluder The mean age was (32 3?14 7) years (ranging from 13-65 years) Transthoracic echocardiography was undertaken for guidance for closure before and in the procedure of intervention Transthoracic echocardiography was done immediately, one month and three month respectively after intervention to evaluate the treatment efficiency Results Twenty four patients were treated successfully directly by guidance of transthoracic echocardiography during the period of closure, the total effectiveness was 80%. Five patients needed to have transesophageal echocardiography before closure to select indication and another one patient was treated successfully by adding transesophageal echocardiography for guidance in the procedure There was no significant complication that occurred during the procedures, and there was no emergency surgical case Trivial to small residual shunts were found in 2 cases (6 7%) immediately after the procedure No residual shunts were found in the one month follow up, and all patients had no displacement and recanalization in the one month follow up Conclusion Transthoracic echocardiography can guide most of atrial septal defect patients for closure of atrial septal defects with the Amplatzer occlusion device

Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(11):1132-1134
Objective To observe the effects of adenosine and adenosine receptor agonist on the expression of inter?leukin-18 (IL-18) in patients with unstable angina (UAP), and the mechanism of adenosine receptor agonists thereof. Meth?ods Fifteen UAP and 15 healthy volunteers were included in this study. The effects of adenosine and the selective adenos?ine receptor agonists on the expression of IL-18 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The lower concentration of adenosine (1-100μmol/L) increased the expression of IL-18 in UAP group;whereas the higher concentration of adenosine (1 mmol/L) inhibited the expression of IL-18. The adenosine A1 receptor agonist and A3 receptor agonist increased the expression of IL-18, while the adenosine A2a receptor agonist inhibited the expression of IL-18. There was no significant effect for A2b receptor agonist on the expression of IL-18. Conclusion The lower concentrations of ade?nosine can enhance the expression of IL-18 through adenosine A1 and A3 receptors in UAP. The higher concentrations of ade?nosine can inhibit the expression of IL-18 through adenosine A2a receptors. Adenosine can promote IL-18 expression in lower concentrations.

Objective To investigate the influence of gestational weight gain (GWG) on the incidence of macrosomia, and to establish the reference ranges of GWG based on the incidence of macrosomia. Methods A multicenter, cross-sectional study was conducted. Totally, 112485 women were recruited from 39 hospitals in 14 provinces in China. Totally, 61149 cases were eligible with singleton pregnancies and non-premature deliveries. The associations of pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI), GWG, newborn gender and gestational diabetes with macrosomia were analyzed with logistic regression. The normal GWG ranges were calculated in all maternal BMI subgroups, based on the normal incidence of macrosomia was set as the range of 5.0% to 10.0%. Results In this study, the incidence of macrosomia was 7.46%(4563/611149). The macrosociam was positive related with maternal height, delivery week,pre-pregnancy BMI, GWG, gestational diabetes, primipara, and male babies significantly (P<0.05), based on unadjusted and adjusted logestic regression. The normal range of GWG 20.0-25.0, 10.0-20.0, 0-10.0 and 0-5.0 kg in subgroups of underweight (pre-pregnancy BMI<18.5 kg/m2), normal (18.5-24.9 kg/m2), overweight (25.0-29.9 kg/m2) and obese (≥30.0 kg/m2), respectively. Conclusion The reference range of GWG in China based on the incidence of macrosomia is established.

AIM: To explore the effect of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) gene antisense oligodeoxynucleotide (ASODN) on chemotherapeutic durges-induced apoptosis in CEM cells. METHODS: Cell viability was determined by trypan blue dye exclusion assay. Apoptosis was detected by morphological observation and flow cytomertric cell cycle analysis. RESULTS: The survival rates of CEM cells cultured with daunorubicin, vincristin and (etoposide) respectively were similar with that cultured with those chemotherapic durgs plus hTERT ASODN. The survival rates of CEM cells cultured with cis-diamminedichicloroplatinum (DDP) added 24 h later were higher than that cultured with hTERT ASODN and DDP added 24 h later. The survival rates of CEM cells cultured with DDP were similar with that cultured with hTERT SOND and DDP. In morphological observation of apoptotic cells using Giemsa staining, cells treated with DDP or DDP combined with hTERT ASODN ro SODN at 48 h, displayed classic apoptotic changes. Apoptosis rates of CEM cells treated with DDP for 48 h after 24 h of exposure to ASODN significantly increased. There was significant difference in the percentage of apoptotic cells of CEM cells between hTERT ASODN plus DDP and SODN plus DDP or DDP alone, respectively. CONCLUSION: hTERT ASODN enhances DDP-induced apoptosis of CEM cells.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(02):-
Objective:To explore the relationship among procrastination behavior, meta -cognitive and emotion of university students. Methods:A total of 468 undergraduates from 4 universities were surveyed by GPS,PANAS and MCQ-30.Results:①The undergraduates from liberal arts colleges reported more procrastination behavior than those from science colleges.② Cognitive confidence, positive beliefs,uncontrollability/danger,tendency to control thoughts, and negative emotion positively correlated to procrastination behavior;cognitive self-consciousness and positively emotion negatively correlated to procrastination behavior.③ Cognitive confidence,uncontrollability/danger and negative emotion could positively predict procrastination behavior.④Negative emotion mediated the relationship between uncontrollability/danger and procrastination behavior. Conclusion:Uncontrollability and danger are a significant predicator of procrastination behavior, and negative emotion has a significant mediation effect on the relationship between uncontrollability/danger and procrastination behavior.

Objective To explore a therapeutic method for repairing the avulsion injury of total hand skin. Methods Bilateral chest navel flaps with nerves were used to repair the avulsion injury of total hand skin. Two nerves of the right lateral flap were anastomosed with the first and third common palmar digital nerves respectively; two nerves of the left lateral flap were anastomosed with the dorsum manus of ulnar nerve and cutaneous branch of radial nerve respectively. Results Postoperative follow up of 12 to 15 months showed that two cases were successful. The injured hands regained thalposis and thigmesthesia; the ulnar hand had sensitive thigmesthesia when touching a table; and the grasping function of the hand recovered partially. Conclusion Bilateral chest navel flaps with nerves are recommendable to all kinds of hospitals for repairing the avulsion injury of total hand skin.
