Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2022;20(1):87-90
Objective: To explore the feasibility of needling the Belt Vessel (BV) for low back pain. Methods: The relevant literature was systematically reviewed; the relationship between the BV and low back pain was illustrated; the clinical features of BV-related low back pain as well as the key points of acupoint selection in treatment were summarized, and the efficacy of needling the BV for treating low back pain was observed. Results: The BV is closely related to low back pain. The main clinical manifestations of BV-related low back pain include sagging distension in the low back, enlarged abdomen, and pain radiating to the groin. The main acupoints for treating low back pain via needling the BV include Mingmen (GV4), Wushu (GB27) and Ashi points near the transverse process of the third lumbar spine. Needling the BV can swiftly and effectively relieve both the low back pain and associated symptoms. Conclusion: Needling the BV can effectively alleviate the typical BV-related low back pain.
4.Suppression of experimental choroidal neovascularization utilizing anti-FLK1 monoclonal antibody
International Eye Science 2007;7(4):891-894
· AIM: To investigate the possibility of FLK-1 as a therapeutic agent for choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in mouse by FLK1 monoclonal antibody.· METHODS: CNV was induced in C57BL/6 mouse eyes by krypton laser photocoagulation. Preoperatively and on the 3rd, 6th and 9th day after photocoagulation, the animals were intraperitoneally injected with 500μg FLK1 monoclonal antibody. Choroidal fluorescein angiography and histopathological examination were used to assess the development of experimental CNV quantitatively 10 days after laser treatment.· RESULTS: Laser-induced CNV developed in all lesions on the 10th day after the operation. The development of CNV was significantly inhibited in experimental group, indicated by choroidal fluorescein angiography and histopathological examination (P<0.001).· CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that FLK-1 may be a promising agent for anti-angiogenesis therapy for CNV.
5.Expression of FLK-1 in laser-induced choroidal neovascularization in mouse
International Eye Science 2007;7(3):642-644
AIM: To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2, also known as FLK-1) in laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in mouse.METHODS: CNV was induced in C57BL/6 mouse eyes by krypton laser photocoagulation. Choroidal fiuorescein angiography and histopathological examination were used to assess the development of experimental CNV. Cryostat sections from lesions on day 10 after laser treatment and normal eyes were prepared for Immunohistochemistry for FLK-1.RESULTS: Laser-induced CNV developed in all lesions on day 10. The expression of FLK-1 was detected in endothelial cells, retinal pigmented epithelium (RPE)-like cells and fibroblast-like cells in neovascular lesions. In normal adult mouse retinas, FLK-1 expression was mainly observed in RPE cells, inner nuclear and ganglion cell layers.CONCLUSION: Our findings demonstrated that expression of FLK-1 may play a role in the formation of laser-induced CNV in mice, which suggest that FLK-L may be a promising potential target for antiangiogenesis therapy for CNV.

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of long-term low doses of Azithromycin combined with Budesonide/Fomoterol in the treatment of stable Ⅲ to Ⅳ COPD patients. Methods Collect the confirmed COPD patients of our hospital, they were randomly divided into two groups: the control group (160μg/ 4.5 μg, Bid), the joint group (160 μg/ 4.5 μg/ Bid + azithromycin 250 mg qd). Then Observe the PEF, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, mMRC, 6 MWT, AECOPD of the two groups after treatment for 3 months and 6 months. Results the index of PEF, FEV1, FEV1/FVC of joint group improved more significantly (P < 0.05) than control group after 6 months; the mMRC, 6 MWT, AECOPD, of the two groups improve the similar degree in terms of 3 months (P > 0.05), joint group improved more significantly than control group after 6 months (P < 0.05). Conclusion the therapy of Long-term low doses of azithromycin combined with Budesonide/Fomoterol can more significantly improve lung function index , as the treatment time extended , it can significantly improve clinical symptoms ,reduce the number of exacerbations than single inhaled Budesonide/Fomoterol .

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
In the basic skill teaching of "Diagnostics Foundation"in Chinese medicine colleges and universities, the standardized patients are used to strengthen students’ clinical basic skill, let them consolidate their theoretical knowledge and change it into their skills, which is an effective way to guarantee the students to enhance their"double-base"ability,namely the elementary theory and clinical basic skill, and their self-confidence and shorten the time from the classroom to the clinical practice running-in period.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
Impact of air pollution on cardiovascular d is eases has been established. As the main source of city air pollution, particulat e matter has been demonstrated an independent correlation with incidence and mor tality of cardiovascular diseases. The mechanisms are not clear. Several plausib le mechanistic pathways have been described, including inflammation induced by o xidative stress, the followed enhanced coagulation/thrombosis resulted in instab ility of atherosclerosis, the promotion of ischemic heart diseases and imbalance of autonomic nerve tone resulted in the occurrence of arrhythmia. The article p rovides a review of the mechanisms on air pollution and cardiovascular diseases and suggestions for further research.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of coenzyme Q10 in preventing propofol infusion syndrome in rats. Methods Thirty pathogen-free healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 8-10 weeks, weighing 250-280 g,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=10 each) using a random number table:control group (group C),propofol group (group P) and coenzyme Q10 group (group CoQ10).Normal saline was infused intravenously in group C.In group P,1% propofol in medium-and long-chain triglyceride emulsion injection was infused intravenously. In group CoQ10,CoQ10 100 mg/kg was administrated by intragastric gavage, and 1 h later propofol was infused intravenously. The infusion rate was 20mg·kg-1 ·h-1 within the first6hand40mg· kg-1 · h-1fortherest6h,and the total time was 12hin the three groups.Immediately after the start of administration (To),and at 6 and 12 h after the start of administration (T1,2),blood samples 2 ml were taken from the common carotid artery, with 0.5 ml for blood gas analysis and 1.5 ml for determination of the levels of serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),creatine kinase (CK),creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB (CK-MB),cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr).After blood sampling, the rats were sacrificed, and myocardial tissues were obtained for pathological examination. Results Compared with group C,the serum AST,ALT,CK,CK-MB and cTnⅠ levels were significantly increased at T1,2 (P<0.05),no significant changes were found in serum BUN and Cr levels (P>0.05),the pathological changes of myocardium were aggravated in P and CoQ10 groups.Compared with group P,the serum AST,ALT,CK,CK-MB and cTnⅠ levels were significantly decreased at T1,2 (P<0.05),no significant changes were found in serum BUN and Cr levels (P>0.05),and the pathological changes of myocardium were significantly attenuated in group CoQ10.Conclusion Coenzyme Q10 can effectively prevent the development of propofol infusion syndrome in rats.
