Objective:To study the correllation of genetic polymorphisms of IL-10 polymorphic loci with ulcerative colitis sus-ceptibility and its influence on clinical outcomes.Methods:A total of 80 patients with ulcerative colitis were selected as case group and the others by sex and age matched healthy subjects as control group according to the case-control study design.Peripheral venous blood samples were drawn and DNA was extracted from all subjects prior to treatment.PCR primers of -819T/C(rs1800871),-592A/C (rs1800872),-1082G/A(rs1800896) were designed for PCR amplification.The fragments produced from human genomic DNA were performed by restriction enzyme digestion of amplified PCR products,and further separated using agarose gel electrophoresis.Relative risk(OR) and 95%confidence interval(95%CI) were calculated by the Logistic regression,in order to evaluate the correlation of IL-10 gene polymorphism with susceptibility of ulcerative colitis and clinical outcomes.Results:(1)The distribution frequency of genotype AA,GG and AG of polymorphic loci rs1800896 in cases patients were significantly different from that in control group(P<0.01).(2) Compared to rs1800896 genotype AA,genotype GG were significantly associated with increased risk for ulcerative colitis(P<0.01)and the decreased clinical remission rate ( P<0.01 ).( 3 ) The distribution frequency of genotype CC, CT and TT of polymorphic loci rs1800871 were not significantly different between groups(P>0.05).(4)The distribution frequency of genotype AA,AC and CC of polymorphic loci rs1800872 were not significantly different between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:IL-10 polymorphic loci rs1800896 genotype GG would be associated with increased susceptibility to ulcerative colitis,and poor prognosis of patients.

Biological safety is an important international issue. For this reason, WHO published Laboratory Biosafety Manual in 1983, 2003 and 2005. According to the concepts of Biological safety, countries all over the world have developed and established their own national codes of practice for the safe handling of pathogenic microorganism for clinical, studying and epidemiological purposes. In BSL-4 laboratories, individual biosecurity is very important for staffs when they are faced with dangerous level-4 pathogens. In this paper, individual protective equipment and correlative technical requirements for BSL-4 laboratories are introduced.

Purpose To investigate the expression of RNF2 in breast disease tissues and cell lines,and to analyze the association between expression of RNF2 and clinicopathological characteristics in breast carcinoma.Methods Expression of RNF2 protein and mRNA levels was detected using immunohistochemistry of EnVision two-step and qRT-PCR in breast carcinoma and benign breast disease as well as in cell lines.Results RNF2 expression was sigmificantly higher in breast carcinoma tissue specimens compared with benign breast disease specimens (P ＜0.05).Besides,the expression of RNF2 protein was significantly associated to tumor size,lymph node status and TNM stage (P ＜ 0.05 for both),but was not related to age,histological grade,the expression of ER,PR and HER-2 (P ＞ 0.05 for both).Higher expression of RNF2 mRNA was detected in breast carcinoma cell lines compared with breast epithelial cell lines (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion RNF2 is overexpressed in breast carcinoma and can be a potential therapeutic target for breast carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo explore therapeutic effects of minor external fixator for open comminuted phalangeal fractures with non-transarticular.

METHODSFrom January 2013 to December 2014,13 patients with open comminuted phalangeal fractures were treated by minor external fixator with non-transarticular, including 9 males and 4 females aged from 18 to 56 years old with an average of 35 years old. According to Gustilo classification, 8 cases were type II, and 5 cases were type III. The time from injury to operation ranged from 2 to 7 h averaged 5 h. Seven patients were diagnosed as phalangeal fracture, 6 patients were involved with joint surface of phalangeal, which 1 case combined with inherent nerve damage and 1 case combined with soft tissue defect repaired at stage II. The patients were fixed by plaster for 2 weeks and removal external fixtor from 6 to 8 weeks after operation and received functional exercise.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 3 to 12 months with an average of 7 months. One case occurred metacarpophalangeal joints stiffness. No screw breakage, inflammation occurred. Skin soft tissue recovered well and obtained bone healing, the average time of bone healing was (4.6 ± 1.0) weeks. According to TAM scoring system used by Hand Surery Association of Chinese Medical Association, 7 cases got excellent results, 4 good, 1 moderate and 1 poor.

CONCLUSIONMinor external fixator for open comminuted phalangeal fractures with non-transarticular has advantages of simple operation, good stability, and could adjust at the later stage, less damage for soft tissue periosteum, low inflammatory rate, earlier functional exercise. It is worth to be popularized and applied.

To investigate the efficacy of the formula composed of the herbal drugs to soothe the liver, regulate qi, clarify the heart and eliminate vexation plus acupuncture for general anxiety disorder. Methods: Forty cases in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture plus herbal formula and 38 cases in the control group were treated with oral Doxepin. The assessment was conducted by Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS) before, during and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate was respectively 82.50% in the treatment group and 84.21% in the control group, with a significant difference in SAS assessment (P＜0.01) between the two groups before and after the treatment.There were no significant differences in the curative and remarkable effective rate, total effective rate and SAS assessment between the two groups (P＞0.05), but the side effect was higher in the control group than in the treatment group (P＜0.01). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus herbal formula can have a precise effective effect for extensive anxiety neurosis with mild toxic side effects.

Objective To systematically the efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) conbined with percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy (PMCT) in treatment of advanced liver cancer.Methods A search was performed by retrieving the domestic and foreign literature database,including WanFang Data,VIP,CNKI,PubMed,Cochrane Library,CBM,EMBASE,Medline,between January 2005 and May 2015.These documents were about the analysis of the efficacy of TACE combined with PMCT in treatment of advanced liver cancer,including complete response(CR),partial response(PR),total effective rate,the levels of AFP declining,1,2,and 3 year survival rate and all the trials must be randomized controlled trials.Meta-analyses were conducted using the Cochrane Collaboration's RevMan 5.2 software.Results Fourteen documents were retrieved,including 989 patients,conbined treatment group 470 patients,simple treatment group 519 patients.The results of Mete-analysis shows that the total effective rate of TACE combined with PMCT is higher than TACE alone in treatment of advanced liver cancer.AFP declining ＞ 50％ of TACE combined with PMCT more obvious than TACE alone.1,2,and 3 year survival rate of TACE combincd with PMCT higher than TACE alone.These differences were statistically significant.Conclusion TACE combined with PMCT might be more effective than TACE alone in treatment of advanced liver cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To outline the development of phytomedicine in Germany to offer a reference for traditional Chinese medicine.METHODS:From the aspects of research,production and market to make an exposition of phytomedicine's develop?ment in Germany.RESULTS:There existed a gap between Germany and China in technology and standards in production of botanicals.CONCLUSION:We should use the experience of Germany in developing botanicals to draw up international quality standard of traditional Chinese medicine.

18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18F-FDG PET-CT) is the integration of functional imaging and anatomic information,which is found to be particularly valuable in TNM staging,tumor volume delineating,post-treatment assessment,identification of recurrent and residual nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).The combination of 18F-FDG PET-CT with other image technologies,different tracer agents,and specific molecular biomarkers can improve the application value of 18F-FDG PET-CT in NPC.
