Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(3):635-639
This study sought to reveal the difference of brain functions at resting-state between subjects with sub-health and normal controls by using the functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) technology. Resting-state fMRI scans were performed on 24 subjects of sub-health and on 24 healthy controls with gender, age and education matched with the sub-health persons. Compared to the healthy controls, the sub-health group showed significantly higher regional homogeneity (ReHo) in the left post-central gyrus and the right post-central gyrus. On the other hand, the sub-health group showed significantly lower ReHo in the left superior frontal gyrus, in the right anterior cingulated cortex and ventra anterior cingulate gyrus, in the left dorsolateral frontal gyrus, and in the right middle temporal gyrus. The Significant difference in ReHo suggests that the sub-health persons have abnormalities in certain brain regions. It is proved that its specific action and meaning deserves further assessment.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(03):-
Objective:To explore the role of nuclear transcription factor and the effect of nasal tolerance on EAN.Methods:75 male Wistar rats were divided into five groups: Group NS, EAN, EANL, EANM, EANH. The expression of IFN-?, TGF-?1, IL-10 mRNA and P65 protein were detected in spleen by using of RT-PCR and western blot. Results:The expression of IFN-? mRNA were the highest at early phase, those of TGF-?1 and IL-10 augmented significantly at recovery phase. In Group EANM and EANH, the severity of clinical signs and the infiltration of inflammatory cells decreased. IFN-? mRNA and P65 protein expression was lower than that in Group EAN, however, IL-10 and TGF-?1 mRNA increased markedly. At the same time, the expression of P65 protein were positively correlated with those of IFN-? mRNA, negatively correlated with those of TGF-?1 and IL-10 mRNA.Conclusion:NF-?B may play a vital role in EAN. Nasal administration of antigen may effectively prevent Wistar rat from inducing EAN in some degree, which may associate with the inhibition of NF-?B.

Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 1983;0(03):-
Objective To evaluate the value of MRI in diagnosing the bucket handle tear (BHT) of the knee meniscus. Methods Eighty four knees which underwent both MRI and arthroscopy (AS) examinations were analyzed. Results of AS were used as golden standard to evaluate the results of MRI. The evaluating criteria included primary reports, central displaced fragments of meniscus (CDFM), double posterior cruciate ligament sign (DPCLS) and the absent bow tie sign (ABTS). Results For MRI diagnosing BHT, the sensitivity and specificity of primary reports were 43% and 87%, respectively; the sensitivity and specificity of CDFM were 72% and 87%, respectively; the sensitivity and specificity of the DPCLF were 31% and 97%, respectively; and the sensitivity and specificity of the ABTS were 71% and 69%, respectively. Conclusions When MRI was applied to diagnose BHT, the CDFM had higher sensitivity and specificity, while the ABTS had higher sensitivity and lower specificity. The DPCLF had the highest specificity and the lowest sensitivity.
