Objective: To evaluate 2D CDUS ultrasound in estimating lesions of carotid and femoral arteries in diabetes mellitus. Methods: Forty patients were divided into 3 groups by age. 2.Studies on physiology of sleeping of swine model with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome

Objective To study the physiology of sleeping in a swine model with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) reproduced by high altitude and hypoxia. Methods Twelve male minipigs were randomly assigned to 2 groups, named A and B. The pigs of Group A were placed in Room 1, which was a double-room altitude chamber, and the pressure in it was adjusted to 53.9 kPa with an oxygen concentration of 10.0%~11.2%. The pigs of Group B were kept in Room 2 with altitude of sea level and oxygen concentration of 21%. All the animals were kept in their respective rooms for 6 hours per day and for 22 consecutive days. On the 23rd day sleeping was monitored, at the same time the movements of chest and abdomen, respiratory airflow, heart rate, and pulse oxygen saturation (SpO_2) were recorded. Apnea/Hypopnea Index (AHI), Hypopnea Index (HI), and average SpO_2 were derived from analysis of the data of sleeping monitoring. Pigs were sacrificed after the experiment, and pharyngeal tissue was harvested for pathological examination. 3.Fluid balance and myocardial function relate to mortality of patients with septic shock

Objective To evaluate the correlation between fluid balance and myocardial function and the mortality in patients with septic shock.Methods Ninety two septic shock patients enrolled between January 2013 and January 2015 were divided into survival group and non-survival group based on 28-day mortality.Fluid balance,haemodynamic parameters and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) were collected on days1,3,7 after admission.Results Forty four patients survived the crisis while 48 died.The 7 day average fluid balance volume in survival group was lower than those in non-survival group [(55 ± 9)ml/kg vs.(187 ± 14)ml/kg,t =54.260,P <0.01].The initial left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) in survival group was lower than that in non-survival group [(42% ±4%) vs.(54% ±6%),t =10.100,P <0.01].Serum BNP level was significantly lower than those in non-survival group [(267 ± 54) ng/L vs.(681 ± 22) nig/L,t =48.580,P <0.01].Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that fluid positive balance,LVEF and acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ (APACHEⅡ) were the independent predictors for 28 day mortality (P < 0.05).Conclusions Fluid balance and myocardial function can serve as risk predictors for septic shock patients.

Objective:To define doctors professional risk connotation , the scientific judgment doctors profes-sional risk fact , seek medical professional risk guard against and dissolve the long -term mechanism , maintaining safety and legitimate rights and interests of the doctor′s body and mind .Methods:Using doctor -patient relation-ship as the research background , adopts the questionnaire survey , through the survey data analysis of the correla-tion between the doctor-patient relationship and the doctor professional risk , on the basis of the young workers , for example , the empirical research doctors professional risk existing conditions and the reality .Results:The doctor-patient relationship nervous career anxiety and unease , doctor of job burnout and the harm done by the profession itself, complicated medical environment cannot effectively solve the doctor occupational safety crisis , institutional arrangements and the prevention and control mechanism is not reasonable career crisis .Conclusion:The govern-ment should strengthen the professional risk management system design and the prevention and control institutions and hospitals to strengthen the construction of professional risk management and prevention and control system , the doctor should promote occupational consciousness of risk prevention and control and doctor -patient communication ability, the society should strengthen professional risk management and the prevention and control of environmental regulation .
5.Surgery combined with albendazole liposomes for advanced hepatic alveolar echinococcosis

Objective To investigate the outcomes of surgery combined with albendazole liposomes in the treatment of advanced hepatic alveolar echinococcosis.Methods This is a retrospective study on 71 patients with advanced hepatic alveolar echinococcosis treated from January 2002 to November 2013.The patients were divided into 4 groups according to the surgical methods and whether surgery was combined with albendazole liposomes.Results On follow-up from 5 ~ 44 months,the mortality rates for the volume-reduction surgery group was 82.3%,the volume-reduction surgery + albendazole group 52.3%,the radical operation group 28.5%,and the radical operation + albendazole group 21.1%.The mortality rate of the radical operation + albendazole group,when compared with the radical operation group and the volume-reduction surgery + albendazole group was significantly different (P < 0.05).The mortality rate of the radical operation group,when compared with the volume-reduction surgery + albendazole group showed no significant difference (P > 0.05).The mortality rate of the volume-reduction surgery group,when compared with the volume-reduction surgery + albendazole group,the radical operation group,and the radical operation + albendazole group was significantly different (P < 0.05).Conclusions The treatment of radical operation combined with albendazole liposomes for advanced hepatic alveolar echinococcosis reduced recurrence,improved quality of life and prolonged survival.It is a feasible method to treat these patients.
6.Comparison of efficacy of different doses of remifentanil combined with propofol for colonoscopy

Objective To compare the efficacy of different does of remifenanil combined with propofol for colonoscopy.Methods Ninety ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients,aged 35-63 yr,weighing 45-72 kg,scheduled for elective painless outpatient colonoscopy,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =30 each):remifentanil 0.2 μg/kg group (group Ⅰ),remifentanil 0.5 μg/kg group (group lⅡ) and remifentanil 1.0 μg/kg group (group Ⅲ).In groups Ⅰ-Ⅲ,remifentanil 0.2,0.5 and 1.0μg/kg were injected over 60 s,respectively,and then propofol 1.0 mg/kg was injected intravenously for induction.The colonoscope was inserted after loss of eyelash reflex.When body movement appeared during examination,remifentanil 0.1 μg/kg + propofol 0.5 mg/kg,remifentanil 0.25 μg/kg + propofol 0.5 mg/kg,and remifentanil 0.5μg/kg+ propofol 0.5 mg/kg were added in groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ,respectively.The operation time,induction time,emergence time,examination room discharge time,and body movement,hypotension,bradycardia,hypoxemia and respiratory depression during operation were recorded.Results There was no significant difference in the operation time,induction time,emergence time,and examination room discharge time between the three groups (P > 0.05).Compared with group Ⅰ,the incidence of body movement was significantly decreased,and the incidences of hypotension and respiratory depression were increased in group Ⅱ,and the incidence of body movement was significantly decreased,and the incidences of hypotension,hypoxemia,bradycardia and respiratory depression were increased in group Ⅲ (P < 0.05).The incidences of hypoxemia,bradycardia and respiratory depression were significantly higher in group Ⅲ than in group Ⅱ (P <0.05).Conclusion The optimum dose of remifentanil is 0.5 μg/kg when combined with propofol for colonoscopy.
7.Simulation and analysis of vehicle stability based on ADAMS/CAR differential brake

To improve the braking safety of automobiles, the author studied the effect of differential brake on the stabilities. To analyze the mechanical characteristics of differential brake, automotive subsystem models were built by applying ADAMS/CAR, and automotive mechanics simulation model was built by setting the main subsystems such as body, engine and brake. The simulation model studied the distribution mode of three kinds of differential brake, and beeline braking stability and turning braking stability were simulated. It shows that differential brake can amend turning shortage of automobile brake and improve its braking stability, but the effect of automobile mass on its braking stability is great. So the distribution mode of braking force and the effect of mass change should be considered while differential brake is applied.

Objective To investigate the effect of isosorbide mononitrate on the levels of NO,iNOS,IL-1 and IL-6 in lung tissue of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR).Methods Fourteen-week-old Wistar and SHR male rats were randomly divided into the W0,W1,S0 and S1 group,with 10 rats ineach group.Rats in the W0 and S0 group were fed with the normal saline and the ordinary food,rats in the W1 and S1 group were fed with isosorbide mononitrate and the ordinary food.Twelve weeks later,levels of NO,iNOS,IL-1 and IL6 in rat lung tissue were detected.Results Compared with the W0 group,levels of NO,iNOS,IL-1 and IL6 were significantly increased in the W1 groups (P < 0.05,respectively).Compared with the SO group,levels of NO,iNOS,IL-1 and IL6 were significantly increased in the S1 group (P < 0.05,respectively).In the W1 and S1 group,levels of iNOS and NO were positively correlated with IL-1 and IL-6.Conclusion 1.Isosorbide mononitrate may lead to increases of NO,iNOS,IL-1 and IL6 in lung tissue of Wistar rats,which indicates the presence of chronic inflammation.2.Longterm feeding of isosorbide mononitrate may lead to increases of inflammatory factors in SHR rats,contributing to the inflammatory state in rats.
