2.The correlation between structural empowerment and job satisfaction of undergraduate nursing faculty

Objective To investigate the status of undergraduate nursing faculty's structural empowerment and job satisfaction and to analyze the correlation between themn.Methods Totally 246 nursing teachers were investigated with Conditions for Work Effectiveness Questionnaire Ⅱ and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire.The correlation between structural empowerment and job satisfaction were analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis.Results Undergraduate nursing faculty's total score was (3.04±0.57) points,and score of job satisfaction was (2.93±0.59) points,both of which were at moderate level.Structural empowerment was positively correlated with job satisfaction (r=0.450-0.714,P<0.01),the higher structural empowerment level,the higher job satisfaction.Conclusions Undergraduate nursing managers can improve nursing teachers' job satisfaction by strengthening the empowerment to nursing teachers,in order to enhance the teaching quality.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of military training injury caused by distal femoral fractures that used reverse interlocking intramedullary nail(retrograte nails) and condylar plate to fix,and then compare the clinical treatment effects.Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical information of 30 cases,14 cases were treated with reverse interlocking intramedullary nail(reverse nail group) and 16 cases with condyle plate fixation(condyle plate group),all the cases were followed up for 12~20 months to compare the treatment effect and complications.Results According to Merchan criteria with clinical evaluation of knee function,the rate of good and excellent was 85.7% in the reverse interlocking in-tramedullary nail group,68.7%(P

5.Expression of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 in mouse model with oxygen induced retinopathy

BackgroundMonocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1)plays an important role in the tumor,inflammation,diabetic retinopathy and other neovascular disease,but the expression and the role of MCP-1 in the oxygen induced retinopathy(OIR) model have rarely been reported. Objective This study was to investigate the expression of MCP-1 in the retina development of newborn mouse and in mouse models with OIR.Methods C57BL/6J newborn mice were divided into two groups and 60 mice in each group.Mice in OIR group were exposed to 75% oxygen for 5 days and then to room air.All mice in normal control group exposed to room air only.Ten mice in each group were randomly chosen and sacrificed at postnatal 5,7,12,14,17,21 days.The expression of MCP-1 in mouse retina was detected with the method of immunohistoehemistry and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results MCP-1 positive cells were seen in normal mouse retina.Up-regulation of MCP-1 positive cells was detected both in 12 days in normal control group and in 14 days in OIR group.MCP-1 mRNA was detected in mouse retina at 5 days,and a transient up-regulation of MCP-1 mRNA was observed in 12 days in normal control group.MCP-1 mRNA in OIR group significantly increased in 14 days in comparison with the normal control group( P =0.028,P =0.001 ). Conclusions Expression of MCP-1 is detectable in whole retinal development procession of mice.A transient up-regulation of MCP-1 expression is detected in the critical period of retinal vascular development in mice models with OIR,which is closely related to the retinal vascular development and progression of retinal new vessels.
6.The value of clinical application of leukocyte classification alarm system (Q-Flag) for Sysmex XT-1800i blood cell analyzer

Objective To study the value of clinical application of leukocyte classification alarm system (Q‐Flag ) for Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer .Methods 394 blood samples with alarm system (Q‐Flag) and 190 ones without abnormal alarm infor‐mation detected by the Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer were performed to observe the quantity and morphology of blood cells by manual differentiation ,and the results were compared between them .Results The alarm system of Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer in detecting cell morphologic abnormalities was 100 .0% for sensitivity ,62 .3% for specificity ,70 .8% for positive predic‐tive value and 100 .0% for negative predictive value .Based on thegold standardof manual differentiation ,no abnormal cells were observed in those blood samples without Q‐Flag alarm information and the coincidence rate was 100% .The coincidence rate of leu‐kocyte classification was from 0 .0% to 75 .0% for blood cell analyzer when the alarm system (Q‐Flag) was between 100U and 200U ,and that was from 66 .7% to 95 .6% when the alarm system (Q‐Flag) was between 200U and 300U .Conclusion The alarm system sensitivity of leukocyte classification alarm system (Q‐Flag) is high for Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer ,and it is nec‐essary to manually differentiate the samples with abnormal Q‐Flag in order to provide accurate and reliable clinical diagnostic infor‐mation .

Objective To study the expressions of progesterone receptor A (PRA) and B (PRB) in breast cancer and adjacent non-malignant tissues and the correlations between their expressions and the clinical characteristics. Methods The expressions of PRA and PRB in 50 specimens of female human breast cancer and adjacent non-malignant tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. Objective To investigated the potential influences of poly(lactic-co-glycolicacid)(PLGA)scaffold as a platform on the differentiation of mouse bone-marrow stem cells to islet-like cells.Methods Mouse bonemarrow stem cells were grown and differentiated in culture with or without PLGA scaffold,and cell morphology and functions were compared within these groups.Results The PLGA scaffold showed fine biological compatibility.Differentiated islet-like cells were dithizone (DTZ) positive,insulin and C-peptide double positive,glucagon positive and somatostatin positive in both groups.Under electron microscope there were ultrastructures similar to that of islet β cells in cells of both groups.Cells with PLGA scaffold secreted more insulin under high level glucose stimulation (P<0.01).Conclusions PLGA scaffold was biologically compatible and improved function of the differentiated islet-like cells.
