Glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) is a serine/threonine protein kinase, which takes part not only in glycogen metabolism, but also in cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. GSK-3β is inhibited by growth factors and hypertrophic stimuli through phosphorylation of its N-terminal end serine (Ser9) residue. It is also activated by phosphorylation of its tyrosine (Tyr216) residue. GSK-3β is profoundly inactivated in mice with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and plays a secondary role in myosin heavy chain mutation. However, the role of GSK-3β in HCM was controversial. Recent studies have demonstrated that the activation of GSK-3β inhibits the myocardial hypertrophy, and is regulated by Wnt/Frizzld and PI3-K/Akt signaling pathways. This article introduces the molecular role of glycogen synthase kinase-3β signaling in myocardial hypertrophy and the different pathways on the activity of glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β)
2.Effect Study on Malignant Tumor Treated with Shengmai Injection Combined with Chemotherapy

Objective To explore the effect of Shengmai injection combined with chemotherapy in treating advanced tumor and its mechanism. Methods 65 patient with malignant tumor, who having the syndrome of yin and qi deficiency, were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with routine chemotherapy, and the treatment group was treated with routine chemotherapy plus Shengmai injection (60 ml every day). The total effective rate was observed. Results Compared with control group (71.0%), the effective rate of the treatment group (91.2%) showed significant difference (χ~2=4.399, P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of treating malignant tumor with Shengmai injection combined with chemotherapy is good. The therapy can obviously improve symptoms and reduce side effects of chemotherapy.

Uveal melanoma(UM) is the most common primary intraocular malignant tumor in adults,which is tend to metastasize.The mortality of the patients with the metastatic tumor is very high.The mechanism of the UMmetastasis is associated with genes mutation,cytokine,protein expression abnormality and regulation abnormality of signal transduction pathways.Some research about the mechanism of the UM metastasis is carring out to find the early metastatic marker and potential therapeutic target point,so that the tumor can be detected early and prevented.It will be very important for us to increase the survival rate and improve the life quality of UM patients.
5.The influence of different postures on the efficacy of mechanical ventilation in critically ill patients with 2009 H1N1 influenza

28 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome caused by 2009 H1N1 influenza were mechanically ventilated for 1 hour in the supine, lateral, semi-supine, lateral prone, and prone position respectively. Changes of heart rate, respiratory parameters and arterial partial pressure of oxygen ( PaO2 )were measured. There were no significant differences ( P > 0. 05 ) of heart rate and mean arterial pressure among these postures. Lateral prone ( P < 0. 05 ) and prone posture ( P < 0. 01 ) , however, can both significantly improve tidal volume, mean airway pressure, PaO2, static lung compliance and oxygenation index. We concluded that mechanical ventilation delivered in the prone position can remarkably improve oxygenation in patients with H1N1 influenza-associated acute lung injury.
6.Changes of visual quality after Nd:YAG laser posterior capsular dissection to the patient with after-cataract

AIM:To observe and analyze visual quality changes of the patients with posterior capsule opacification ( PCO ) Nd:YAG laser posterior capsular dissection, including the change of the best corrected vision acuity ( BCVA ) , total high- order aberration ( tHOA ) , and the modulation transfer function ( MTF) .
METHODS:In this prospective observational study, 100 cases of patients ( 100 eyes ) with posterior cataract underwent Nd:YAG laser posterior capsular dissection ( posterior capsular diameter dissected was 5mm or higher). The mean age was 65. 52±7. 01 years old. The change of the BCVA was collected. The tHOA and MTF under the 3mm and 5mm pupil diameter were assessed by iTrace respectively before and after Nd:YAG laser posterior capsular dissection.
RESULTS:All the surgery went well without obvious intraoperative and postoperative complications happened. The preoperative BCVA was 0. 451 ± 0. 023 while the postoperative BCVA was 0. 763±0. 025. The difference of BCVA before and after Nd: YAG laser surgery was statistically significant (P<0. 01). At 3mm pupil diameter, the tHOA preoperative was 0. 551 ± 0. 031 while the postoperative tHOA was 0. 214± 0. 011, the differences were significance (P<0. 05). At 3mm pupil diameter while the spatial frequencies ( 5cpd, 10cpd, 15cpd, 20cpd, 25cpd, 30cpd ) respectively, the MTF tHOA value postoperative (0. 644±0. 023, 0. 49±0. 011, 0. 311±0. 015, 0.202±0. 018, 0. 056±0. 027, 0. 041±0. 011) were significantly higher than that preoperative (0. 401±0. 021, 0. 261±0. 026, 0. 179±0. 012, 0. 108±0. 014, 0. 031±0. 016, 0. 022±0. 021), and the difference has statistical significance (P<0. 05). At 5mm pupil diameter, the tHOA preoperative was 0. 752±0.028 while the postoperative tHOA was 0. 361±0. 014, the differences were significance (P<0. 01). At 5mm pupil diameter while the spatial frequencies ( 5cpd, 10cpd, 15cpd, 20cpd, 25cpd, 30cpd) respectively the MTF tHOA value postoperative (0. 426±0. 027, 0. 209±0. 018, 0. 172±0. 013, 0. 116±0. 015, 0. 049±0. 010, 0. 034±0. 014 ) were significantly higher than that preoperative (0. 234±0. 021, 0. 102±0. 019, 0. 088±0. 016, 0. 058±0. 022, 0. 021±0. 014, 0.016 ± 0. 011 ), and the difference had statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Patients with posterior capsule opacification ( PCO ) Nd:YAG laser posterior capsular dissection can help improve BCVA, reduce tHOA, increase MTF tHOA values, and significantly improve visual quality of patients.
7.Clinical study of gasless laparoscopy in the treatment of benign ovarian tumor in 10 pregnant women

Objective To investigate the feasibility,safety and effect of gasless laparoscopic surgery used in patients at the second trimester.MethodsFrom Aug.2006 to Aug.2008,the data of 10 cases at gestational 15 - 24 weeks complicated by ovary benign tumors ( the diameters more than 5 cm) undergoing gasless laparoscopic surgery were studied retrospectively.Operation time,bleeding loss,period of hospitalization,the status of fetus and newborn babies,and peri-operative or postoperative complications were observed.ResultsAll 10 cases were treated by gasless laparoscopic surgery,including 4 cases with mature teratoma,5 cases with epithelial tumors and 1 case with ovarian endometrioma.The mean time of surgery was (30 ± 5) minutes,the mean bleeding in the surgery was (30 ± 8) ml,the mean period of in hospitalization was ( 6 ± 2 ) days.The blood gas ( pH:7.42 ± 0.11,7.41 ± 0.18,7.42 ± 0.12 ),blood pressure [ mean arterial pressure (MAP):(90.4 ± 3.1 ),(90.6 ± 0.7 ),( 89.7 ± 0.8) mm Hg( 1 mm Hg =0.133 kPa) ] and heart rates [ ( 84.0 ± 1.6),( 84.3 ± 1.7 ),( 82.7 ± 1.1 ) bpm ] in all cases at pre,peri and postoperative time did not show statistical difference ( P all > 0.05 ).The fetal hearts were all in the normal range preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative time (P > 0.05 ).No perioperative and postoperative complications were observed.All the cases underwent term delivery.Fetal weight and Apgar score did not show abnormality.ConclusionGasless laparoscopic surgery at the second trimester is feasible and safe to mother and fetus.
8.Diagnostic value of oligoclonal bands and intrathecal IgG synthesis rate in multiple sclerosis

Objective To study the sensitivity and specificity of oligoclonal bands (OCBs) and intrathecal IgG synthesis rate (IgG Syn) for diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) and the correlation between qualitative and quantitative indices.Methods Albumin and IgG concentrations in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum from 30 patients with MS, 40 with other nervous system inflammatory diseases (NID) and 22 with nervous system noninflammatory diseases (NNID) were determined by rate nephelometry method. OCBs in the CSF were detected using isoelectric focusing combined with silver staining, and IgG Syn was calculated. The sensitivity, specificity and positive result likelihood ratio (PRLR) were analyzed.Results There were no significant difference in the abnormal rate of OCBs and IgG Syn between MS group and NID group. 9.Practice and effect evaluation of gestational diabetes mellitus specialist practice model

Objective To evaluate the outcomes after implementing gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) specialist practice model. Methods GDM specialist practice model contained four modules(first visit,follow-up visit,hospital-ization,postpartum),eight aspects of practice contents which included specialist evaluation,diet & exercise survey, diet & exercise prescription,GDM health guidance,weight management during pregnancy. Pregnancy outcomes were compared before and after GDM specialist practice. Results GDM specialist practice model was able to signifi-cantly decrease insulin utilization rate,reduce number of hospitalized patients due to poor blood sugar control,short-en length of hospitalization. Conclusion GDM specialist practice model can effectively save medical costs,and GDM specialist nurses play an important role in management of women with GDM.
10.The influence of puerarin on the expression of TNF-α in rats with focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion

Objective To study the nerve protective mechanism of puerarin on ischemic brain injured and observe the expression change of TNF-α cytokines in ischemic brain area. Methods 90 healthy male SD(Spraque-Dawley)rats were used to built the animal model of brain medium sized artery focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion with the patching methods, and the rats were randomly divided into three groups: Sham operation group(n=30),operation group(n=30),operation with puerarin interfered group(n=30).There were five different observing time in every group(6h,12h,24h,48h,72h after operation).The operation with puerarin group rats were treated with puerarin solution, the sham operation and operation group rats were injected the same volume Sodium Chloride. To observe the expression of TNF-α cytokines in different time, immunohistochemistry staining in ischemic region was used. Results Compared with the sham operation group. the expression of TNF-α cytokine in cerebral isehemic reperfusion brain tissue in the operation and the operation with puerarin interfered groups was higher(P<0.01).Compared with the operation group, the expression of TNF-αcytokine was significantly decreased in different time after cerebral ischemic-reperfusion in the operation with puerarin interfered group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusions The puerarin can restrain the expression of the TNF-α cytokine.
