1.Essence Experience of Professor SHI Zai-xiang in Treatment of Intractable Abdominal Distension

Intractable abdominal distension refers to the reasonable application of the general dialectical therapy with no significant efficacy. Professor SHI Zai-xiang believes that on the basis of hepatosplenic disorder, there are the etiology and pathogens of spleen yang not raising and spleen and stomach in disorder in intractable abdominal distension, which should be treated with raising qing yang, tonifying qi, and consolidating the superficial resistance. Therefore, modifiedBuzhong Yiqi Decoction was used; as for abdominal distension with blood stasis and meridian stasis, the treatment should be motivating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, motivating qi stagnation, and making free the passage of blood in the vessels, which should be treated withGexia ZhuyuDecoction combined withDahuang Zhechong Pills; as for abdominal distension with lung qi stagnation, the treatment should be motivating lung qi, moisturizing dryness and laxation, promoting qi and eliminating swelling, which should be treated with modified WenbaiPills; as for abdominal distension with cold and yang deficiency, the treatment should be warming and expelling cold, warmly tonifying spleen and kidney, which should be treated withJiuzhuan Yuhu Pills; as for abdominal distension with extra meridians tiredness and deficiency of yin and yang, the treatment should be tonifying extra meridians, warmly tonifying yin and yang and tonifying liver and kidney, which should be treated with modified Roucongrong Pills. Intractable abdominal distension needs the overall dialectical and alternative treatment.
2.Test Method of Bacterial Endotoxin in Ceftazidime/Tazobactam Sodium for Injection

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for testing the bacterial endotoxin in ceftazidime/tazobactam sodium for injection.METHODS:Based on the bacterial endotoxin test method stated in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2005 edition),an interference test was conduced on different batches No.of ceftazidime/tazobactam sodium samples using actachypleus amebocyte lysate(TAL)from different companies.RESULTS:No interference was found in the bacterial endotoxin test after ceftazidime/tazobactam sodium for injection was diluted to 5.0 mg?mL-1.Its limit value of bacterial endotoxin was 0.1 EU?mL-1.CONCLUSION:Actachypleus amebocyte lysate test was suitable for determining bacterial endotoxin in ceftazidime/tazobactam sodium for injection.
3.Analysis and evaluation of uncertainty of the verification results about the defibrillator analyzer

Objective:Through analyze the uncertainty sources in verification about defibrillation analyzer of DA-1 type, assess and verify of defibrillation energy uncertainty, repeatability and stability to ensure the quality of the analyzer. Methods:The maximum permissible error, energy display resolution, releasing energy measurement repeatability three aspects:source of uncertainty was analyzed and evaluated. Results:On the basis of WSB64-2003“verification regulation for cardiac defibrillators & cardiac defibrillator-monitors”, the relative expanded uncertainty can be obtained. Conclusion:Through analysis and evaluation, the source of the uncertainty of the results of defibrillation analyzer are conform to rules of the regulation, the defibrillation analyzer can detect the defibrillator of clinical to ensure the quality and safety.
4.Research on the uncertainty analysis and evaluation of experimental results about sterilization equipment

Objective:It is verified whether JJF1308-2011 standard is scientific and reasonable, whether it is easy to operate and achieve the technical requirements of the testing medical sterilizer temperature by analyzing and evaluation the uncertainty of experimental. Methods:The temperature detection device is used to obtain experimental data in the condition of no-load. The result is concluded after analysis and evaluation of uncertainty. Results:The specification is verified to reach the feasibility and rationality through the no-load test and analysis and evaluation of uncertainty of the results. Conclusion:It is proved that the specification is easy to operate through the experiment. It can meet the requirement of testing the quality and safety of sterilizer.
5.Clinical Observation of Acupuncture-moxibustion for Alzheimer ’s Disease

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion in treating Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
Methods: Forty-eight eligible AD patients were enrolled to receive acupuncture plus herb-partitioned moxibustion. Mini-mental state examination (MMSE) was adopted for evaluation before and after intervention, and the therapeutic efficacy was observed.
Results: After intervention, the MMSE score changed significantly (P<0.01), and the total effective rate was 83.3%.
Conclusion: Acupuncture-moxibustion can significantly improve the cognitive function of AD patients, beneficial to the general promotion of the quality of life.
6.Development of calibration device for platelet thermostatic storage box

Objective:The platelet thermostatic storage box is widely used in hospital, laboratory, and blood station. It is very necessary to develop a calibration device to ensure the accuracy of the technical parameters.Methods: Using Infrared emitter, digital temperature sensor, ARM microcontroller etc to form a calibration device, the parameters of temperature, amplitude and frequency are processed. Data is transferred by Bluetooth communication, final; the test report is printed out for clinical.Results: The calibration device is developed, it can detect the important performance parameters of preservation box, it can ensure the safety of patient's blood transfusion. Conclusion: This calibration device is simple operation, strong practicability, stable performance; it can detect the technical parameters of platelet thermostatic storage box through experiment to ensure the safety and quality.
7.Research on high frequency electrotome quality detection method

Objective:To analyze the high frequency electric knife detection methods, effective detection methods is used to solve problems in testing, the high frequency electricity knife quality is ensured finally.Methods: According to the national calibration specifications, the high frequency electricity knife analyzer is used to test, the problems are found, the experience is sum up.Results:By using the method of testing for a long time, the hidden danger is eliminated of the high frequency electrical knife, the accuracy of the high frequency electric knife is ensured, so that it is more safe and reliable in clinical.Conclusion: The quality control of high frequency electric knife test is an important part of medical safety, the value of high frequency electric knife is ensured through the tested periodically, so it can better service to patients.
8.Progress of efficacy evaluation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has been widely used in ⅡA, ⅡB, ⅢA stage and locally advanced breast cancer. The best way to evaluate NAC effect is to detect the changes in total tumor lesion volume by three-dimensional reconstruction under magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). At present, it is a hotspot for many scholars to effectively evaluate the efficacy of NAC and the impact of shrinkage modes on the evaluation after NAC in breast cancer by combination of multiple parameters, such as the area under receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC), time-intensity curve (TIC) type and minimum apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC). To provide more practical and accurate means and methods in evaluating the effect of NAC in breast cancer for clinic is the medical researchers′eternal target.

By finding the problems and analyz-ing them, they have added the teaching link of review discussion in teaching process and elaborated on its implementation process and teaching results , aiming to provide practical basis for application of review discussion for postgraduate teaching.
10.Basic fibroblast growth factor-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for acute kidney injury

BACKGROUND:It has been confirmed that basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) can promote the growth, proliferation, differentiation and functional expression of most cels derived from neuroderm and mesoderm. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of bFGF-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation in rats with acute kidney injury. METHODS: bFGF genes were transfected into bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels via an adenovirus vector, and then expression of bFGF in transfected cels was identified using RT-PCR technology. Rat models of acute kidney injury were prepared by clipping bilateral renal pedicles, and then randomized into three groups (n=20): rats were given injection of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspensionsvia tail vein as negative transfected group, those given injection of bFGF-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspensionsvia tail vein as bFGF-transfected group, and the others given injection of DMEMvia tail vein as model group. Four weeks later, levels of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen were detected, expressions of connective tissue growth factor and growth factor in renal tissues were detected by Western blot assay, and morphology of renal tissues was observed using hematoxylin-eosin staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:bFGF genes were successfuly transfected into bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels. Compared with the model group, the levels of serum creatinine and urea nitrogen were significantly reduced in bFGF-transfected and negative transfected groups, especialy in the bFGF-transfected group (P < 0.05), while expressions of connective tissue growth factor and transforming growth factor in renal tissues in bFGF-transfected and negative transfected groups were significantly weakened in these two groups (P < 0.05), but there were no significant differences between the bFGF-transfected group and negative transfected group (P > 0.05). Besides, renal tissues necrosis and inflammatory reactions were mitigated in the negative transfected group; renal tubules with normal outlines and no overt necrotic cels could be found in the bFGF-transfected group. These findings show that bFGF-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation plays a better role in acute kidney injury repair in rats.
