Objective To study the relationship between TXA 2/PGI2 and pulmonary hypertension in Congenital Heart Disease(CHD).Methods The serum concentration of TXB2/6-K-PGF1? was determined in 63 patients with CHD by radioimmunoassay. Results TXB2 ，TXB2 /6-K-PGF1? increased significantly in P H,while 6-K-PGF1? decreased,the TXB2 /6-K-PGF1? varied in different PH groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion TXA2/PGI2 plays an important role in the pathogenesis of PH se- condary to CHD.

TPX2(targeting protein for Xklp2)is a microtubule-associated protein in a new family of vertebrate spindle pole components.TPX2 is diffusely distributed all over the nucleus during the cell cycle phases S and G_2 and play important roles in mitotic spindle formation.TPX2 over expression was found in a variety of malignant tumors,that are asssociated with the centrosome amplification,aneuploidy,cell transfor- mation and the biological behavior of tumor.Blocking the expression of TPX2 can inhibit the growth of tumor cells.TPX2 may serve as a new candidate target for tumor therapy.The study progress of its structure and function,expression levels in cell cycle,molecular mechanism etc.was reviewed.

This paper was aimed to investigate the effects of icariin on the expression of p38 mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK)protein in rat osteoblasts cultured in vitro, to elucidate the signal transduction of icariin in preventing and treating osteoporosis. The results showed that p38MAPK could be activated by icariin within 5min, and Cbfal could also be upregulated, and SB203580, an inhibitor of p38MAPK pathway, could partly inhibit Cbfal upregulation by icariin.

Objective To investigate the anxiety in the relatives of patients with severe brain injury at acute period and discuss the effective solving pathway.MethodsA questionnaire-based survey was conducted in 120 relatires of patients with severe brain injury during March 2006 to March 2007 by using state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI).Results Comparison of anxiety score between relatives of patients and normals,the scores of state anxiety and trait anxiety in the relatives of patients[(52,40±8.42),(46.73±7.56)]were significantly higher than those in normal people[(38.97±8.45),(41.31±7.54),P＜0,01].And between relatives of man and woman,the Scores of state anxiety and trait anxiety in the relatives of patients in female were significantly higher than those in male ones(P＜0.01).The scores of state anxiety and trait amv,iety in the 51～65 old group were significantly higher than ihosein 31～50 old group and 17～30 old group(P＜0.01).The scores of state anxiety and trait anxiety in the little educated group were significantly higher than that higher educated group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01),and higher in those having self-medical service than in those having public medical service.The scores for,mate is signkfigantly higher than that other roles(all is P＜0.05).Conclusion The relatives of patients with severe brain injury have anxiety of different degrees.Medical staff should pay attention to the relatives anxiety,and so to better the relationship of medical staff and patient

Objective To evaluate the effect of various kinds of dyslipidaemia on insulin resistance and pancreatic islet ? cell function in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients. Methods 263 patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes were divided into normal lipidemia group and dyslipidaemia group according to ATPⅢ standard. The dyslipidaemia group included 3 subgroups as the following: high TG group, high TC group, and mix group with high TG and TC. Homeostasis model assessment (HOMA) was applied to estimate insulin resistance (IR) and pancreatic islet ? cell function. Early insulin secretion index (EISI) and area under curve of insulin (AUCI) at all OGTT time points were calculated. Results Incidence of dyslipidaemia in the type 2 diabetic patients was 63%. Objective To study the effect of low-level 84 disinfection solution on reproductive physiology of mice . Methods 72 KM mice were randomly divided into three groups :0.5%84 disinfection solution group ( group A) , 2.0%84 disinfection solution group (group B) and saline solution group (group C).12 males and 12 females in each group. Corresponding medicine was given once a day by intragastric gavage for 9 weeks.The estrous cycle of female mice was observed by exfoliative cytology of vagina .After 9 weeks, The sperm abnormality test was performed , Serum samples were taken for sex hormone test by ELISA, and the histological change of testis (or ovary), heart, liver, lung and kidney were observed.Results Compared with group C , No significant difference was observed in the weight variation and serum sex hormone level in group A and B (P >0.05).The difference of the estrous cycle of female mice was not significant (P >0.05).No histopathological abnormality was observed .Compared with group C, There was no significant difference in the rate of sperm abnormality in group A ( P >0.05 ) , but the rate in group B was significantly increased ( P <0.05 ) . Conclusion 0.5% 84 disinfection solution has no significant effect on reproductive physiology of mice , The concentration of disinfection solution must be strictly controlled when used .
