Objective To understand current status and influencing factors of long-term care for elderly people who lived in rural areas of Beijing.Methods A total of 1022 elderly people (age＞60 years old) were enrolled in this cross-sectional study during December,2012 and January,2013.Demographic information,health status and needs of and intent to long-term care were learned through a questionaire survey.Chi-square test and muhiple non-conditional logistic regression analysis were used to identify the factors that were related to the respondents' selection.Results Nearly 6.6％ (61/1016) participants showed needs for long-term care.82.3％ (841/1013) respondents preferred household-based long-term care,while 7.53％ (77/1013) preferred community-based long-term care.In single factor analysis,education level,occupation,household income,living conditions,number of children living together,medical insurance,pension insurance,chronic diseases and self-report hearing ability,taste and touch were related with longterm care needs (x2values were 33.03,136.17,99.32,88.83,58.07,147.71,108.11,9.85,33.78,30.45 and 22.22,respectively; all P＜0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that occupation,income per capita,spouses living conditions,new corporative medical systems and self-report visual status were correlated with household-based long-term care (odds ratio (OR) were 2.48 (95％ confidence interval (CI) 1.21-5.10),0.82(0.71-0.95),1.64 (1.08-2.49),4.78 (2.93-7.82) and 0.72 (0.59-0.89),respectively).Conclusion Householdbased long-term care and health management system may be needed and chosen by the elderly living in rural areas of Beijing.

Objective To discuss the significance of platelet rich plasma in promoting bFGF and VEGF expression in would healing of rabbit buns .Methods The 24 rabbits were randomly divided into control group and experimental group .The sulfadiazine silver paint to the wound for control group and the platelet rich plasma gel evenly spread to the wound for experimental group .At 7th ,10th ,14th day ,4 rabbits of each group were randomly selected to sacrificed after anesthesiaed ,wound healing rate was compare in 2 groups ,HE staining and testimmunohistochemistry were conducted in each group .Results At 7th ,10th ,14th day ,the wound healing rate of experimental group were higher than those of control group .At 7th d ,the focal granulation ,cells and vessels inten-sive were more significant in experimental group than in control group ,at 10th day ,the wound fibroblast cells and capillary number are more significant in experimental group ,and at 14th day ,the most of fibroblasts translate into fiber cell and the capillary number decreased ,the fibroblasts proliferation was still active and fiber cell was less in the control group .At 7th ,10th day ,the expression of bFGF and VEGF were both higher ,but experimental group is obvious higher than control group(P<0 .05) ,but at 14th day ,the ex-pression of bFGF and VEGF were gradually declined and was not obvious statistics differences in the two group (P>0 .05) .Conclu-sion The platelet rich plasma could promote the big white rabbit scald wound healing ,while the main mechanism maybe the ex-pression of bFGF and VEGF increased in the early .

Objectives To explore polymorphisms of CD152 gene promoters (-1722T/C,-1661A/G) and exon1 (+49A/G) in children with idiopathic ischemic stroke and assess the association between these polymorphisms with the disease. Methods Us-ing the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method, polymorphisms in the CD152 exon1 region (+49A/G) and promoter regions (-1722T/C,-1661A/G) were genotyped in 51 Han children with idiopathic ischemic stroke and 74 healthy Han children. Results The CD152 genotypes in control group and idiopathic ischemic stroke children were consistent to principle of Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium (HWE) byχ2 test. The CD152+49GG genotypes and G allele frequency in the patients showed a signiifcant increase compared to the controls (χ2=7.053, 6.351, P<0.05). However, the CD152-1722T/C,-1661A/G genotypes and allele frequency showed no signiifcant difference between 2 groups (P>0.05). Clinical features (hemi-paresis, dysarthria, seizures, consciousness change, and preceding infections) did not show signiifcant correlation with genotypes and frequency of the CD152+49 polymorphisms in children with idiopathic ischemic stroke (P>0.05). Conclusions The CD152+49A/G polymorphisms may relate to idiopathic ischemic stroke.

Objective To study the effect of back-pressurized corset in incision pressure dressing after posterior lumbar surgery. Methods Seventy-eight patients who received posterior lumbar surgery during December 2013 to December 2014 in our hospital, were set as the control group and treated by incision dressing using common corset. Another 80 patients receiving the same posterior lumber surgery during January to December 2015 were set as the experiment group and treated with incision pressure dressing using the pressured-corset. After surgery, the two groups were compared in terms of incisive bleeding, completeness of the dresses and waist comfort level at day 7. Results The rate of incisive bleeding in the experiment groups was significantly lower and the comfort level at the lumbar was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.001). There was no significant difference in the completeness of incisive dresses (P>0.05). Conclusion The incision pressure dressing for the patients after posterior lumbar surgery can remarkably improve the effect of compression fixation on the incision and increase comfort level.

As the major commercial source of natural rubber,Hevea brasiliensis attracts much attention.However,the heterozygous nature,long breeding cycle are strong limitations for conventional breeding.While genetic engineering,which can be used to widen the germplasm base and produce desirable agronomic traits quickly and efficiently,offers a viable alternative approach to complement traditional breeding.Comprehensive analysis indicates that in the past two decades,with calli derived from immature anther or integumental tissues of immature fruit as receptors,both biolistic and Agrobacterium-mediated transformation methods were employed for developping rubber genotypes with improved latex yield,tolerance to tapping panel dryness syndrome,producing high-value recombinant proteins,etc.Being recalcitrant to tissue culture,the transformation efficiency of Hevea is comparatively low,and the procedures are still needed to optimize.Finally,breeding objectives and strategies to improve transformation efficiency were also proposed in the review.

Objective To learn current status of health management services in the elderly individuals living in rural areas of Beijing,so as to provide evidence for healthcare improvement.Methods The elderly residents aged 60 or above from several rural districts of Beijing were selected by using multistage random sampling method in January 2013.The health management programme those participants obtained and their satisfactory scale were evaluated.Results A total of 719 of 1 023 (71.3％) individuals had health check-up over the past years.Only 4 subjects (0.4％) obtained mental health management,and 35 (4.9％) finished follow-up studies for chronic diseases.The percent of the elderly who received physical examination,profiles of medical record,health education,medical consultation,health evaluation,cancer screening or vaccination showed statistically significant difference of regional distribution (x2 values were 15.7,39.4,30.5,25.2,24.1,18.4 and 19.3,respectively; all P＜0.05).Sites for health check-up,profiles of medical record and health education were also found to have statistically significant regional distribution difference (all P＜0.05).In ordinal logistic regression analysis,age,occupation,health insurance,self health assessment and health medical affected satisfaction of the respondents with health management.Conclusions Our investigation shows a gap between current health management programme and national standard requirement for equal public health services,and the elderly's satisfaction with health management needs to be improved.

Objective To reveal the difference between the standards for genu varum and genu valgum in the medical standard directory PLA Air Force( PLAAF) for recruitment of flying cadets and those adopted in the United States Air Force ( USAF) , and suggest a method for the reform of our flying cadets recruitment.Methods The rejection rate and comprehe nsive assessment qualification rate of genu varum and genu valgum during physical examinations for recruitment of flying cadets between 2012 and 2015 were analyzed.The different standards for genu varum and genu valgum in PLAAF and USAF flying cadets recruitment were compared and subjected to an empirical study.Results During the final physical examination for selection of flying cadets between 2012 and 2015, only 18 candidates were eliminated because of genu varum and genu valgum, accounting 9.1% of the total eliminated candidates because of orthopadics diseases.Four candidates with genu varum and genu valgum passed the comprehensive assessment in 2014 and 31 in 2015, which accounted for 15%of the candidates with orthopaedics diseases approved by comprehensive assessment.The standards for genu varum and genu valgum in PLAAF were based on morphology while those in the USAF based on the function of knees.According to the USAF medical standard directory, 9 of the candidates rejected because of genu varum and genu valgum were qualified and 9 disqualified.Among the candidates with genu varum and genu valgum approved by comprehensive assessment, 32 were qualified and 3 disqualified.Conclusion The standards for genu varum and genu valgum in PLAAF medical standard directory are of lower accuracy.The standards of USAF should be referred to and the function of knees should be considered in selection of flying cadets.Femur-tibia angle should be measured to improve the morphological standards.
