Acetabular is an important human joint for weight bearing. Quadrilateral plate is a crucial structure of medial acetabulum with special morphology and important function. Quadrilateral plate fractures are common fracture in acetabulum. Quadrilateral plate fracture is hard to expose and reduction because it is in the medial of acetabulum. At the same time, the bone in the quadrilateral plate is not easy to fixed for thinning bones and adjacent to the articular cavity. The operator should know well about the anatomy and choose the suitable internal fixation. After quadrilateral plate fractures, the femur head maybe displace medially even break into pelvis. That make reduction and treatment always be a challenge. With different kinds of fractures, the efficacy of treatment is not the same. This paper intend to review the relation of anatomic features, approaches, internal fixations, key point of treatment and efficacy.

Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2004;0(01):-
Objective:To investigate the peripheral mechanism by studying the histological changes of masseter muscles using HE stains and substance P(SP) and protein gene product 9.5(PGP9.5) immunohistochemical stains. Methods: Fifteen male Sprague-Dawley were randomly assigned into occlusal interference group(n=12) and control group(n=3).In occlusal interference group,0.4 mm thick crowns were bonded to the rats'first molar of the maxillary. In the control group, rats were anesthetized and mouths were forced open for about 5 min but restorations were not applied.1,5,10,and 21 d after 0.4 mm occlusal alteration treatment, mechanical pain thresholds of bilateral masseter muscles were quantitatively measured by modified electronic anesthesiometer in control group and occlusal interference group. The rats were euthanized by transcardiac perfusion after deep anesthetization at different time points. The paraffin sections of masseter muscles were made and processed for HE,SP,and PGP9.5 immunohistochemical staining. Results: Decreased head withdrawal threshold to mechanical pressure was detected in masseter muscles on both sides following occlusal interference.Histological stains of masseter muscles presented intact following occlusal interference, and no inflammatory cells were observed in both sides.Intensely stained PGP9.5 was observed at 1 d in occlusal interference groups and maintained until the end of the experiment.SP expression was the most obviously increased at 5 d in both sides and gradually decreased to the level of control. Conclusion: Experimental occlusal interference-induced masticatory muscle pain is associated with peripheral sensitization of nociceptive neurons rather than muscle damage and inflammation.

Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2017;32(1):138-140,143
Objective To study the level of serum apolipoprotein M and its disease activity index in patients with SLE.Meth-ods 65 cases of systemic lupus erythematosus patients in Shiyan City Renmin Hospital from January 2013 to December 2015 were selected. In addition, female workers 20 people as control group.Tested the level of serum lipids,Apo,CRP and ESR.Compared the expression level with Apo M and Apo A1 ,and Apo B and the degree of disease activity. Results Activi-ty group and Apo A1 ,HDL,TC,remission group,Apo and M were lower than the control group, the difference was statisti-cally significant (P<0.01).Active group, remission group LDL and Apo B was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Active group and remission group TG was higher than the control group, but no significant significant differences (F=0.061,P=0.937).Apo A1 and total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, smooth protein was positively correlated (P<0.05),and ESR was negatively correlated with the 24h urinary protein (P<0.05).Apo B was positively correlated with triglyceride, total cholesterol, and low density lipoprotein (P<0.05).Apo M and triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, albumin was significantly posi-tively correlated, and ESR was negatively correlated with anti ds-DNA antibody (P<0.05).Conclusion The level of Apo M was significantly lower in SLE patients which showed a significant positive correlation with triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein and albumin. And showed a negatively correlated with anti ds-DNA antibody and ESR.Disease activity index of Apo M is larger.

Objective To investigate the curative effect of arthroscopic treatment for lateral dis-cord meniscus tear in children. Methods The study involved 229 child patients with lateral discord meniscal tear treated arthroscopically from March 1996 to March 2008. There were 133 males and 96 fe-males, at age of (9±3.5) years (range 4-14 years). The treatment methods included meniscus-plasty in 219 patients (including two children with postoperative recurrence), meniscus-plasty-suture in eight and partial meniscectomy in two. The function of the knees was assessed pre-operationally and post-operation-ally by using Lysholm score. Results Of all, 221 patients were followed up for a period of (65±48.9) months (range 5-144 months). The pain and swelling were alleviated, with obvious improvement in range of motion and knee function in all patients six months after operation. There were no complica-tions including intra-articular infection, iatrogenic injury, fibroarthritis or loss of range of motion. Ly-sholm score was (61.85±7.65) points (range 45-73) before operation, which was improved to (95.30±3.50) points (range 87-100 points) six months after operation (t= 26.778, P < 0.01). Conclusion Treatment of lateral discord meniscus tear under arthroscopic guidance in children has the advantages of minor trauma, satisfactory results, can maintain good shape of the meniscus and good func-tion of knee and reduce incidence rate of osteoarthritis.

Objective To investigate the effect of folic acid on the DNA methylation of tumorrelated genes promoters in healthy human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC). Methods Ten healthy volunteers were divided into two groups, and were randomized to receive either 5 mg folic acid (n=5)or placebo(n = 5) , one time per day for 3 months. The serum folic acid concentration was detected with chemiluminescence enzyme immunoassay kit before and after the intervention. The methylation statuses of five tumor-related genes promoter, including oncogenes c-myc, c-Ha-ras,tumor suppressor genes p16INK4A, E-cadherin and mismatch repair gene hMLH1 in PBMC were detected by bisufite sequencing. Results After folic acid intervention, the level of serum folic acid increased significantly in intervention group (t= -4. 739,P<0. 05) , however no significant difference in control group. After three-month folic acid intervention, the level of methylation of oncogene c-myc promoter increased from 4%, 3. 3%, 4. 1% before intervention, one week after intervention, one month after intervention respectively to 8%(t= -4. 079,P<0. 05), while no significant change in placebo taken group. Before and after the folic acid intervention, there was no significant difference of DNA methylation of other tumor-related genes promoter, including c-Ha-ras、E-cadherin、p16INK4Aand hMLH1. Conclusion Folic acid intervention can up-regulate DNA methylation of oncogene c-myc promoter, but can not affect the promoter methylation status of tumor suppressor genes E-cadherin,p16INK4Aand hMLH1.

AIM: To establish a method of determining genpioside, baicalin and berberine in Gonglao Quhuo Tablets(Caulis Mahoniae,Cortex Phellodendri Chinensis,Radix Scutellariae, etc). METHODS: The mobile phase composed of A acetonitrile,B acetonitrile and 0.5% triethylamine(Ph3.1)(10∶90).The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min with the wavelength at 254 nm. RESULTS:The calibration curves were linear in the ranges of 3.22-206 ?g/mL(r=0.999 9) for genpioside,2.95-186 ?g/mL(r=0.999 9) for baicalin and 1.64-104 ?g/mL(r=0.999 9) for berberine hydrochloride, respectively. The average recoveries were not less than 98.4%. CONCLUSION: This HPLC method is convenient, rapid, accurate and could be used for quality control of production of Gonglao Quhuo Tablets.
