1.Configuring Anti-earthquake Medical Resource and Improving Medical Insurance
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
Some basic knowledge of the outbreak and direction of earthquake, and shows that in some areas the medical resources are wasted severely are briefly introduced. A long-term mechanism and emergency draft be set up for antiearthquake and rescue is suggested, which should aim at different areas and districts manage in large scale and reasonably distribute the limited medical resources. In this way, the indemnification can be raised, the victims' life and property can be saved, and the disaster areas can obtain better service.
2.Simulation study of influences of chain length on the shielding effect of PEGylated nanoparticles
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;37(4):193-196,后插3
Objective To investigate the influence of surface grafting density of polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecules on the interactions of nanoparticle with the biomembrane. Methods The dynamics of polymer as well as its shielding effect on the wrap of the membrane were investigated using coarse-grained (CG) molecular dynamics simulations.A coarse grained model force field,MARTINI,was employed for its ability to reproduce experimental properties of various lipid dynamics and some kinds of polymer as well. Results As a result, structural variations and energy changes of grafted PEG molecules on the nanoparticles, adsorbing dynamics of PEGs on the membrane as well as the wrap rates of the membrane were obtained to shed light on the PEGylation-mediated shielding mechanism in the adsorption of PEGylated nanoparticles on the membrane. Conclusions The surface grafting density of PEGylated nanoparicles has been found to play a crucial role in the stealth shielding behavior of PEGylated nanocarriers. These studies are consistent with experimental observations and to some extent give a molecular level interpretation of the macroscale observations of prolonged circulation half-life of stealth nanocarriers.
3.Advances in anti-vasculogenic mimicry therapy
International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(4):267-270
Vasculogenic mimicry (VM) is a term that describes a novel form of angiogenesis, channels of which are patterned networks of interconnected loops of periodic acid-Schiff (PAS)-positive extracellular matrix forming by highly aggressive tumor cells instead of endothelial cells. VM is closely correlated with the invasiveness, metastasis and prognosis of related tumors. However, traditional anti-vascular therapies aiming at endothelial cells have no remarkable effects on malignant tumor with VM. Therefore, VM should be an important factor to consider in design of anti-angiogenesis therapies of highly aggressive tumors and it is expected to become a potential target for tumor therapy. Some recent progresses of anti- vasculogenic mimicry therapy are reviewed in this article.

8.Expression pattern of different serotypes of adeno-associated viral vectors in mouse retina.
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2020;52(5):845-850
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the expression efficiency of exogenous gene mediated by different serotypes of adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors in retina, and to compare the expression efficiency of AAV vector and two kinds of promoters commonly used in ophthalmology after transfection into mouse retina, so as to provide the basis for selecting appropriate AAV vector and promoter for gene therapy of retinitis pigmentosa.
METHODS:
AAV2/2, AAV2/5, AAV2/8 and AAV2/9 were prepared. The C57BL/6J mice were injected subretinally with 1 μL purified AAV vectors (1.00×1013 mg/L). Then the mice were killed 2 or 4 weeks after treatment, and the eyes were enucleated for frozen section. The expression of green fluorescent protein (GFP) was observed under the confocal microscope. Two kinds of promoters, CMV and CAG, were selectd, and the expression of AAV2/8-GFP-CMV and AAV2/8-GFP-CAG was observed under confocal microscope.
RESULTS:
No bacterial infection or immune response were seen in the injected mice. 2 weeks after injection, the GFP green fluorescence of AAV2/8 and AAV2/9 in the mouse retina was obvious, which indicated that the GFP green fluorescence of AAV2/8 and AAV2/9 was high after transfection into the mouse retina. In these two serotypes, GFP green fluorescence of AAV2/8 was mainly concentrated in photoreceptor cells while AAV2/8 was expressed in the whole retina, indicating that AAV2/8 was more specific to photoreceptors. Further experiments on AAV2/8 showed that the GFP green fluorescence of the mouse retina was obvious 4 weeks after injection, indicating that the exogenous gene mediated by AAV2/8 could be stably expressed in vivo. For CMV and CAG promoters, CMV promoter was expressed stronger in retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)cells, while CAG promoter was stronger in photorecepters. In photorecepters, CAG promoter was expressed almost the same as CMV promoter, while CMV promoter was stronger in RPE cells.
CONCLUSION
AAV vectors could express transgene robustly in retinal cells; Among several AAV serotypes, AAV2/2 and AAV2/5 showed weaker GFP fluorescence than AAV2/8 and AAV2/9. AAV2/9 showed expression in each layer of the retina including ganglion cells. AAV2/8 was more specific for photoreceptor; CAG promoters had higher specificity for photoreceptors than CMV promoters.

9.Improvement Strategies for Chinese Herbal Medicine Packaging
Haoxiong YANG ; Yang HU ; Li CUI
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(5):13-15
There are several disadvantages on the packaging of Chinese herbal medicine, such as unified packaging specification, misused packaging material and uncompleted or no packaging label information. These problems usually result in low quality of medicine, and will bring negative effects on the industry in the long term. Moreover, packaging design is usually too ordinary, without any regional features. Improving the packaging quality and changing the packaging style do not only make Chinese herbal medicine become “safe medicine” or “environmental-friendly medicine”, but also an important measure to raise the competitive power of Chinese herbal medicine in markets at home and abroad.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2011;20(1):49-50
Objective To explore the mechanism of the influence on mice brain of environmental tobacco smoke. Methods After the mice were placed into the bench for 8 weeks, the region of the mice brain was localized and the expression of neurotransmitters and neurotransmitters receptors were detected by immunohistochernistry. Results ( 1 ) The expression of GABA in the mice cerebral cortex ( CC ) ( 0. 25 ± 0. 06 ) and the hippocampus (Hip) (0. 19 ± 0. 07 ) were much higher in the ETS-exposed group than that in the control group(P< 0. 05 ). (2)The expression of nAChR on CC(0. 31 ±0. 10) was much more in the ETS-exposed group than that in control group(P<0.05). (3) The expression of NMDAR( Glu receptors) on the CC and striate cortex were much higher in the ETS-exposed group(0.32 ±0. 10,0.38 ±0. 14), NIC-inhaling group(0.31 ±0. 08,0.31 ± 0. 11 ) than that in control group(P<0. 05 ). Conclusions Long-term ETS-exposed and NiC-exposed environment could change the expression of neurotransmitter and its receptors.
