Objective:To study the changes of rice protein and its limiting amino acids in storage and provide theoretical basis for utilizing and improving its nutritive value. Methods:During rice aging , the kinetic properties of Lys and Trp were studied. Results:The changes of Lys conformed to kinetics first-class reaction, lnk=ln(2.05?107)-6929.3/T and Ea(activation energy)=57.61 kJ/mol, while those of Trp conformed to first-class reaction, lnk=ln(1.18?05)-5426.9/T and Ea=45.12 kJ/mol. Conclusion:Both Lys and Trp contents decreased significantly in storage, Trp worse than Lys. The nutritive value of rice protein then decreased.

Objective To investigate the effect of treatment with endostatin combined with siRNA targeting VEGF on rats with collagen-induced arthritis (CIA).Methods Two mg/ml bovinetype Ⅱ collagen was injected into the rat footpad to build up the animal model of CIA.The experimental animal models were treated with endostatin combined with siRNA targeting VEGF 18 days later after immunization and the treatment ended 32 day later.The efficacy was evaluated by the weight,foot and ankle volume of rats.The levels of VEGF in plasma were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The VEGF distribution within synovial tissue was detected and examined by immunohistochemical technique.The pathological changes of CIA were evaluated by the pathological changes of the biopsied ankle joints.Student's t test was used to evaluate the experimental data.Results The ELISA test showed that comparing with the model group (17.5±0.3),the endostatin group (15.7±0.3) ng/L and the endostatin combined siRNA targeting VEGF group (14.7±0.5) ng/L showed a significant efficacy in the treatment of CIA in rats (P＜0.05).The endostatin group (135±27) and the endostatin combined siRNA targeting VEGF group (126±71) were different in the number of VEGF in plasma and the VEGF distribution within synovial tissue (P＜0.05),the symptoms of arthritis in these rats were reduced than the model group.Conclusion Endostatin combined siRNA targeting VEGF has good therapeutic effect on rats with CIA.

Objective: The Phenomenon of different species with the same name has created potential threats to cinical safety of medication. Because of that, two kinds of “gonglao leaf” and their sibling adulterants have been identified by molecular methods in this study, to secure its safety in medication. Methods: Ilexcornuta, Mahoniabealei, Mahoniafortuneiand their sibling adulterants total of 9 species 45 samples were collected in this experiment,Total genomic DNA was extracted from them by the method of improved CTAB, ITS2 sequences were amplified, and the PCR products were sequenced. Sequence assembly and consensus sequence generation were performed by the CodonCode Aligner V 4.2.4.. The genetic distances were computed by MEGA 6.0 in accordance with the Kimura 2-Parameter (K2P) model and the phylogenetic tree constructed by the neighbor-joining (NJ) method. Results: The analysis results of the genetic distances, variable sites and the NJ phylogenetic tree showed that Ilexcornuta, Mahoniabealei, Mahoniafortunei were seperated from their sibling adulterants obviously. Conclusion: ITS2 sequence was able to identify two kinds of “gonglao leaf” and their sibling adulterants which can provide a basis for clinical accurate medication.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of procalcitonin (PCT) levels in bacteria identification in intensive care unit (ICU) patients with bloodstream infection.Methods There were 540 cases of patients with bloodstream infection in our ICU between December 2007 and December 2013.The PCT levels and bacteria were identified.The application effectiveness of PCT levels in the bacteria identification was studied.Results The G+ bacteria infection rate was 49.63％ (268/540),G-bacteria infection rate was 38.52％ (208/540),and the fungal infection rate was 11.85％ (64/540).The patients of G-bacteria had significant difference with G + bacteria and fungal infection (P ＜ 0.05).The PCT average and positive rate of G-bacteria were significantly higher than G + bacteria and fungi group (P ＜ 0.05),respectively.G+ bacteria and fungi infection did not have significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).When PCT ＞ 2.04 ng/ml,the sensitivity and specificity that applying serum PCT level to identify the between G-and G+ bacteria were 82.18％ and 76.09％,respectively.When PCT ＞3.16 ng/ml,the sensitivity and specificity that applying serum PCT level to identify the between G-and fungus bacteria were 59.42％ and 65.73％,respectively.Conclusions The identification between G-bacteria and G + bacteria,fungi with applying PCT level in bloodstream infections had high accuracy.When the PCT levels was greater than 2.04 ng/ml,the occurrence of G-bacteria was greater risk of infection.The accuracy of PCT level identifying the G + bacteria and fungi was poor.

Objective To understand the support effect of the resources and services provided by the library on the scientific research of medical postgraduates. Methods Taking 150 graduate stu-dents in Chongqing Medical University as the research object, through questionnaire survey and inter-view method, the characteristics of medical graduate students' selection of document resources, as well as their application of the resources and services provided by the library were investigated. Results 65% (98/150) of students chose Chinese literature as the preferred source of information, 6% (9/150) of graduate students did not borrow books at the library, 54% (81/150) of graduate students chose library website as the data retrieval entrance at the time of obtaining the preferred document, 9% (14/150) of students did not participate in the library reader training. Conclusion Library resources are still the first choice for the graduate students to obtain the literature, and the library should be improved in the aspects of resource allocation, service mode, in order to meet the needs of graduate students' scientific research.

Objective To evaluate the effects of dexmedetomidine on dreaming during general anesthesia in pediatric patients.Methods A total of 400 pediatric patients of both sexes,aged 5-12 yr,with body mass index of 15.2-18.1 kg/m2,of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰ,undergoing elective orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia,were randomly divided into control group (group C,n=200) and dexmedetomidine group (group D,n =200) according to the computer-generated random numeral order and numeral parity.Dexmedetomidine was infused intravenously in a loading dose of 0.5 μg/kg over 10 min before induction of anesthesia followed by infusion of 0.5 μg · kg-1 · h-1 until 30 min before the end of surgery in group D,while the equal volume of normal saline was given instead of dexmedetomidine in group C.The pediatric patients who regained consciousness and recovered orientation in post-anesthesia care unit were interviewed for dreaming using a modified Brice questionnaire,and the dream (emotion,hearing and behaviours in dreams,memories for dreams) was evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale.Results Compared with group C,the incidence of dreaming was significantly decreased,the memory score was decreased (P＜0.05),and no significant change was found in emotion,hearing and behaviour scores in dreams in group D (P＞0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can decrease the development of dreaming during general anesthesia and produces no effect on the content of dreams (most are pleasant) in pediatric patients.

Objective To master iodine intake ways of children in Yancheng (coastal) and Zhenjiang (inland) cities,analyze their urinary iodine difference and provide solid evidence for adjustment of salt iodine and adequate iodine intake level of local residents.Methods Totally 50％ counties were randomly selected in Yancheng and Zhenjiang cities and 5 towns were sampled in each county in 2014,local water iodine,domestic salt iodine,local eating habits and urine iodine of children 8-10 years old were investigated,and the influences of different iodine intake ways on urine iodine level were analyzed.Results The median of water iodine was 4.76 μg/Lin Zhenjiang (n =40) and 50.80 μg/L in Yancheng (n =50),the difference was statisticelly significant in two cities (Z =6.93,P ＜ 0.05).Totally 2 400 salt samples were tested,the mean of salt iodine was (24.20 ± 5.07) mg/kg in Yancheng (n =1 500) and (22.87 ± 2.77) mg/kg in Zhenjiang (n =900),the difference was statisticelly significant in two cityies (t =7.23,P ＜ 0.05).The salt intake level in Zhenjiang (10.69-± 9.00) g/d appeared to be higher than that in Yancheng (8.40 ± 3.57) g/d,but the difference was not statistically significant (t =1.62,P ＞ 0.05).Totally 1 200urine samples were tested,the urine iodine level of Zhenjiang got higher results (265.83 μg/L,n =450) than that of Yancheng (182.15 μg/L,n =750,Z =12.18,P ＜ 0.05).The ratio of water iodine intake/salt iodine intake was about 1 ∶ 4 in Yancheng and 1 ∶ 50 in Zhenjiang,while residents in Zhenjiang got 21％ of daily iodine through extra ways.Eating habits like eating out did not have significant impact on urine iodine.Conclusions Based on the water iodine level,Yancheng is considered to be a appropriate iodine level area while Zhenjiang is a lack region.However,Zhenjiang has a higher urine iodine level than Yancheng,which is more than adequate to the recommendation.Salt iodine is a main iodine source in both cities.In iodine appropriate and deficiency areas,eating habits and food choices may play a more important role than geochemical factors in iodine intakes among residents.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of cytokine-induced killer cells (CIK) combined with three dimensional conformal radiotherapy synchronization XELOX regimen in the treatment of local recurrence of rectal neoplasms.Methods A total of 81 patients with local recurrence of rectal neoplasms were divided into treatment group (41 patients) and control group (40 patients) by random digits table method.In treatment group,41 patients received simultaneous three dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with XELOX chemotherapy,then received CIK treatment.In control group,40 patients received concurrent chemoradiotherapy.The immune function,quality of life (QOL) scores,recent efficacy,survival rate and adverse reactions were analyzed.Results In treatment group,the level of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ and CD16+ CD56+ increased and the level of CD8+ decreased significantly after treatment than those before treatment (0.671 ± 0.012 vs.0.625 ± 0.022,0.378 ± 0.043 vs.0.315 ± 0.035,1.59 ± 1.41 vs.1.02 ± 1.14,0.184 ±0.008 vs.0.121 +0.023,0.237 ±0.030 vs.0.308 ±0.031,P ＜0.05).Compared with those in control group after treatment,the level of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ and CD16+ CD56+ in treatment group increased and the level of CD8+ decreased significantly (P ＜ 0.05).QOL scores of 70.7％ (29/41) patients in treatment group was improved,significantly higher than the 32.5％ (13/40) in conctol group (P =0.001).The response rate(RR) in treatment group was 92.7％(38/41),significantly higher than that in control group [75.0％ (30/40)] (P =0.030).The 1-year survival rate in treatment group and control group were 90.2％(37/41) and 85.0％(34/40),there was no significant difference (P =0.473).The side effect in treatment group and control group showed no significant difference (P＞0.05).Conclusion CIK combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of local recurrence of rectal neoplasms can improve patients 'immune function,QOL and recent efficacy.
