Objective To test the pathogeny of Vibrio cholerae strains of the epidemic in Jinzhou of Hubei Province.Methods Traditional methods of biochemistry,immobihzation test,string test and typing of blood serum were used to test the 6 strains isolated.The virulence gene which was cholera enterotoxin (ct) was detected by PCR.The whole genome DNA finger print of confirmed strains was analyzed by pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) after digestion respectively with two enzymes Not Ⅰ and Sfi Ⅰ.The DNA fingerprints were analyzed for clusters.Results The 6 strains of Vibrio cholerae were all O139 by traditional laboratory tests;virulence gene was detected in all 6 strains.The banding pattern was the same in the two maps of PFGE.The results of cluster analysis showed that the similarity coefficient of the six strains was 100％.Conclusion The epidemic of Vibrio cholerae is caused by the same pathogenic bacterium which is O139.

AIM:To seek a simple and reliable process for extracting effective components in Diedahuoxue film.METHODS: According to uniform design, five factors in extraction were optimized, i.e. ethanol concentration, reflux time, reflux times,ethanol volume and drug particle. The absorption value was taken as evaluating parameter in UV- spectrophotometry. RESULTS: The results showed that the best extracting conditions were 95% ethanol, ten times amount of ethanol, 0.2mm size of particle and reflux time of 1h with 4 repetitions.CONCLUSION:This process is simple and reliable.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the characteristics of ARDs induced by ciprofloxacin lactate.METHODS:Using philometric method,65 cases developing drug adverse reactions to ciprofloxacin lactate,reported in domestic journals during the past 2 years,were analysed.RESULTS:Of the ARDs in 65 cases,40 were allergic reactions(61.5%),13 reactions of nervous system(12.3%),3 kidney function damage(4.6%),1 liver function damage,1 cardiovascular reaction(1.5%) and 6 reactions of urinary system.CONCLUSION:The ARDs should be under consideration in choice of ciprofloxalin lactate.

Transgenic animals are those in which recombinant DNA technology is used to remove a gene or a specific part of DNA with exogenous DNA, which is hereditable and can be expressed stably. Transgenic rodent technology, first demonstrated by Gordon in 1980,opened the door to the next step in biotechnology and gene regulation, which has been used to reproduce or mimic a part of a human disease in a complex cellular environment by creating in vivo models with germ line transmission of the introduced genetic regulatory elements. Animal models for drug discovery are developing increasingly, which is promoting the research and development new drugs greatly. The use and development of transgenic animals in pharmacological research is reviewed in this article.

OBJECTIVE:To establish UV-spectrophotometry method in the determination of metformin hydrochloride in compound metformin hydrochloride tablets.METHODS:The determination was carried out with water as the solvent under the detection wavelength of233nm.RESULTS:There was a good linear relationship between metformin hydrochloride and its absorbability(r=0.9999)within the concentration range of1～10?g/ml.The average recovery was99.3%with RSD at0.24%(n=9).CONCLUSION:The method is accurate,fast,convenient,and which can be used to determine the contents of metformin hydrochloride in compound metformin hydrochloride tablets directly without isolation.

AIM: To prepare flexible nanoliposomes made from active ingredients,phillyrin and volatile oil,from forsythia suspense and study their transdermal delivery system.METHODS: Flexible nanolipsomes of phill-yrin(WN group) and phillyrin in combination with forsythia volatile oil(OWN group) were prepared by the meth-od of membrane-dispersion.Its appearance and particle sizes were measured.Transdermal experiments were carried out on the modified Franz diffusion pool through in vitro mouse skin.HPLC was applied to determining the phillyrin content to compare transdermal rate and cumulative permeation amount of various flexible nanoliposomes.RESULTS: The particle size of the WN group was(180.7 ? 13.69)nm,the Zata potential was-48.8 mV,the average encapsulation percentage was(82.53 ? 2.68)%;the particle size of the OWN group was(212.3 ? 15.31)nm,Zata potential was-51.2 mV,the average encapsulation percentage was(70.49 ? 1.06)%.The accu-mulated permeation amount of the OWN group in 8 hours was(291.92 ? 23.22) ?g/cm2,its transdermal permea-bility in 8 hours was 36.49 ?g/(cm2.h),which was 6.10 folds that of the WS group and 1.92 folds that of the WN group.This difference had statistical significance(P

Objective To study a new portable aid bag used to first aid and care in the process of wounded soldiers' delivery so as to meet the need of treatment in the high-technique local war. Methods The function,kinds and amount of outfit are decided on the basis of treating range. The new aid bag with hung sack and capsule outline is designed according to six different modules,which are not only easily-opened but convenient for fast treatment and supply. The field trial was taken after the development. Result A new portable combined aid bag fit for both wartime and peacetime is developed .Conclusion The new portable combined aid bag can meet the need of wounded soldiers' treatment in the modern high-technique local war,and can be used to first aid and care in the process of wounded soldiers' delivery.

Objective To clinically observe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS) before and after cerebrovascular disease attacking and find prevention ways.Methods Seventy cases of berebrovascular patients were observed the OSAS status and the clinic data were collected in the mean time.Results We found 70% patients with snore and suffocation,89% with day drowse before attacking.After attacking,82% in-patient cases appeared different degree lower ventilation or apnea during 1～7d sleeping,which the average paroxysm frequency were 79 times per night and the average time were 72s per paroxysm.The therapeutic effects were good through different measures.Conclusion The active measures should be taken on OSAS after cerebrovascular disease attacking,which has a high frequency of OSAS.

Objective To study the biological function of GP,VP30,NP and L proteins in Ebola virus(EBOV) infectious diseases,and to screen the host proteins which interact with GP,VP30,NP,and L proteins of EBOV from human liver cDNA library using yeast two-hybrid technique.Methods Recombinant PCR was used to construct bait plasmids pGBKT7-GP,pGBKT7-VP30,pGBKT7-NP and pGBKT7-L.Bait strains were combined with human liver cDNA library strains.The positive clones were analyzed by DNA sequencing and bioinformatics.A yeast recovery experiment was performed to further verify and exclude false positive results.Results We constructed bait plasmids pGBKT7-GP,pGBKT7-VP30,pGBKT7-NP and pGBKT7-L with the recombinant PCR method.Six host proteins which could interact with GP,VP30,NP,and L proteins were screened,including COMMD1,ALB,PSMD8,APOA2,CYP2E1,and HP.The yeast recovery experiment proved that COMMD1 and APOA2 might interact with NP protein.Conclusion A number of prey proteins which interact with GP,VP30,NP,and L proteins of EBOV are screened,which may provide reference for the research of EBOV.
