The patient visited for swell and ache of sublingual region. The patient's two sides of sublingual glands were swelled. The mandibular central incisors were repaired by the ill fitting prosthesis, and there was an irregular oral ulcer under it. The area of the ulcer was about 2 mm x 2 mm. The sublingual glands recovered in two days after the ill fitting prosthesis of mandibular central incisors was removed away, iodoglycerin was applied on the oral ulcer, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, prednisone and amoxicillin was taken.

2.Inwardly rectifying potassium channels in Drosophila.
Acta Physiologica Sinica 2012;64(5):515-519
Inwardly rectifying potassium channels (Kir) are a special subset of potassium selective ion channels which pass potassium more easily into rather than out of the cell. These channels mediate a variety of cellular functions, including control of membrane resting potential, maintenance of potassium homeostasis and regulation of cellular metabolism. Given the existence of fifteen Kir genes in mammals, current genetic studies using mutant animals that lack a single channel may have missed many important physiological functions of these channels due to gene redundancy. This issue can be circumvented by using a simple model organism like Drosophila, whose genome encodes only 3 Kir proteins. The sophisticated genetic approaches of Drosophila may also provide powerful tools to identify additional regulation mechanisms of Kir channels. Here we provide an overview of the progress made in elucidating the function of Drosophila Kir channels. The knowledge of Drosophila Kir channels may lead us to uncover novel functions and regulation mechanisms of human Kir channels and help on pathological studies of related diseases.

As the real-time and dynamic ultrasound images play an important role in the distance education of ultrasound medicine, the learning system is more dependent on the technology of modern net-work information. By using the DGX protocol, we have constructed an ultrasonic distance education system composed of 5 main operating terminals, which has ensured the reliable and adaptive window transmission, and has realized the optimization of the coding and decoding technology. At the same time, we have used the system to carry out ultrasonic distance education to medical students, the staff of our ultrasound department and the ultrasound doctors in other hospitals, and have achieved good results in practical application.

Objective To investigate the reaction kinetics between the stone-dissolving solution and the urinary stone in a model simulating the condition of a kidney for further clinical administration. Methods An artificial upper urinary tract was made by silica gel. Lactic acid prepared in the preliminary study was used to react with artificial stone in the model. The concentration of reaction product in the effluent was measured to identify the reaction velocity. Relationships between the efficiency and dissolution rate or stone surface was investigated. Results The highest utilization rate of dissolution was 100 ~ 150 mL/h. Dissolution efficiency is in positive rela-tion with stone surface. The efficiency correlates with the stone surface and infusion speed in the range of 50~400 mL/h. Conclusions Before dissolution treatment ,the stone should be shattered as deeply as possible to in-crease the surface of reaction. If possible ,the irrigating speed should be as high as possible to eliminate the stone sooner.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical significance of human papillomavirus in paraffin-embedded cervical cancer and precancerous lesion tissue by gene clip technology.METHODS 153 Patients with paraffin-embedded examples.DNA was extracted from paraffin-embedded tissues and amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).RESULTS The positive rate of high-risk HPV of inflammation was 8.33%,CINⅠ45.83%,CINⅡ/CINⅢ 87.50% and invasive cancer 92.21%.The HPV infection rate of squamous cell carcinoma was 94.12%.The HPV infection rate of adenocarcinoma was 88.46%.Among all the patients with cervical cancer and CIN,the infection rate of HPV16,the most genotype, was 88.98%.The infection rate of HPV18,the second most subtype, was 33.06%.In addition, the minority were infected HPV52、33、59、68.Among 48 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, the infection rate of HPV16,HPV18 was 93.73% and 27.08% respectively.Among 23 cases of cervical adenocarcinoma, the infection rate of HPV16,HPV18 was 82.61% and 52.17% respectively. On the other hand, all the patients with cervicitis were HPV single infection. The HPV multiple infection rate of CINⅠ,CINⅡ/CINⅢ,cervical cancer was 20.00%,28.57%,36.62% respectively.CONCLUSIONS Gene chip technology can detect multiple HPV genotypes in paraffin-embedded tissues with high sensitivity and specificity, which is useful in the pathogenesis and prevention of cervical cancer.

Chinese Medical Journal 2012;125(18):3346-3348
Lambl's excrescences are filiform structures attached to the edges of cardiac valves and have been associated with stroke. Here we report two patients with Lambl's excrescences who developed migraine-like headaches followed by cerebral infarction. Their Lambl's excrescences were first identified by transesophageal echocardiography. One patient was given aspirin and another had surgery for debridement of excrescences. Their outcomes were good. The migraine-like headache might be the first symptom of cerebral ischemia and might be triggered by micro-emboli originated from Lambl's excrescences. Patients with Lambl's excrescences should be closely monitored and surgery should be considered in recurrent stroke cases.

Objective To investigate the effects of cognitive interventions (CIs) in the context of communi- ty based rehabilitation (CBR) on cognitive deficits (CDs) in stroke patients. Methods Ninety-two stoke patients with CDs were randomly divided into a CI group and a control group. All patients were treated with conventional CBR.In addition, the patients in the CI group were also treated with special intervention therapy. The patients in both groups were assessed with the neurological and cognitive status examination (NCSE) for cognitive functioning, the FCA for motor function and the BI for their ability in the activities of daily living. Results The NCSE,FCA and BI scores in the cognitive intervention group after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment and also significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment. Conclusion CIs can not only improve CDs,but also enhance recovery of motor function and ADL.
