OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational use of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)drugs. METHODS:The utilization of PCOS drugs in our hospital during Jan.-Dec. 2013 were analyzed in respects of consumption sum,DDDs,sorting and so on. The rationality of prescription was analyzed according to guidelines and drug package inserts and so on. RESULTS:There were 1 551 prescriptions, involving 76 kinds of drugs, and their total consumption sum was 181 072.90 yuan. Main types of drugs were hormone related drugs (accounting for 81.37% of prescription frequency,73.51% of consumption sum) and Chinese patent medicine (accounting for 15.41% of prescription frequency,19.43% of consumption sum). Top 5 hormone drugs in the list of DDDs were Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone acetate tablets,Metformin hydrochloride enteric-coated tablets,Progesterone soft cap-sule,Dydrogesterone tablets and Progesterone soft capsules. Top 5 Chinese patent medicines in the list of DDDs were Kuntai cap-sule,Yougui capsule,Huanshao capsule,Jiawei xiaoyao capsule and Nvjin capsule. Single drug accounted for 72.08% in prescrip-tion. The proportion of irrational drug use was 1.69%. CONCLUSIONS:The application of drug in patients with PCOS is reason-able generally. Some prescriptions are unreasonable, mainly manifesting as incomplete clinical diagnosis, irrational usage and dos-age. Pharmacists should strengthen prescription verification and intervention.

Journal of International Oncology 2015;(3):221-223
Malnutrition is one of the most important factors for the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer, but the mechanism of malnutrition is unclear at present. These patients are at risk of nutritional deple-tion from anorexia, dysphagia, and may be associated with the presence of two or more of the following cyto-kines with metabolic activity such as TNF-α,IL-1,IL-6,interferon,leptin,nuclear factor-κB and so on, which are secreted by the host-tumor interaction. The cytokines constitute a sophisticated regulatory network. Therefore, the study of the relationship between malnutrition and related factors in patients with gastric cancer may improve the nutritional status and prognosis of these patients.

The growth-propagation and decolorization-degradation systems for the model dy e Biebrich Scarlet by Trametes hirsuta were established preliminar ily. It was showed that 30℃ and the static culture were better; the effects of compo nents in culture media on the efficiencies of decolorization and degradation wer e not significant; considering the convenience of observing the changes of dye c o lors and shortenig the culture period, the potato liquid medium had the advantag e of others as a preferable medium for reaction systems of Trametes hirsuta . The decolorization and degradation of all dyes Biebrich Scarlet and Direct Deep Blu e L-3RB, Reactive Blue X-BR, Basic Violet 5BN, and Methylene Blue by Tramete s hirsuta were better.

BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cel s are the seed cel s for tendon tissue engineering which can be obtained in large quantities, but how to induce in vitro is a key technology.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of platelet-rich plasma on the proliferation and col agen production of in vitro cultured mesenchymal stem cel s.
METHODS:The rabbit mesenchymal stem cel s were separated ad cultured. The high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group were set to induce the mesenchymal stem cel s, and the blank control group was set as control.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The proliferation of mesenchymal stem cel s in the high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group was high, and in rapid growth with big increase amplitude, and there was no significant difference in the proliferation when compared with the blank control group (P<0.05). The effect was positively correlated with the culture time, and after cultured for a certain time, the effect was in dose-dependent manner, as higher dose platelet-rich plasma had more significant effect on the proliferation of the cel s. The results indicate that platelet-rich plasma can significantly promote the synthesis of col agen type Ⅰ and Ⅲ of mesenchymal stem cel s, the higher the dose, the more significant the effect on the col agen.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(6):117-122
Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) patients . Method The clinical data of HL patients in our hospital from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. The contents of investigation included gender, age, pathological type, first symptom, the incidence locations, clinical stages, extranodal involvement locations, ECOG and treatments. Results A total of 143 cases of HL were included, the M/F ratio was 2.5:1 with a median age of 37 years (11~73years) . The most frequent subtypes of HL were mixed cellular (34.3%) and nodular sclerosis (28.0%) . The nodal lymphomas accounted for 97.2%, while the extranodal lymphomas occupied 2.1%. The nodal lymphomas with extranodal invasion accounted for 29.5%, and the common locations were spleen (14.4%), lung (5.8%) and bone (5.0%) . The most clinical stage of all patients was stage Ⅰ/Ⅱ (60.8%), The differences were no significant in gender, pathological type, first symptom, the incidence locations and the effective rate of the first-line treatment (P>0.05), while were statistically significant in B symptoms, ECOG and treatments betweenⅠ/Ⅱgroups andⅢ/Ⅳgroups (P<0.05) . Conclusions In this group, the incidence of HL patients were mainly found in middle-aged people, males were lager than females. The pathological type, first symptom and the incidence locations had no obvious effect on clinical stage. The clinical stage had no obvious influence on the effective rate of the first-line treatment.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2001;0(05):-
The effects of ovariectomy (OVX) an d pinealectomy (PX) on apoptosis of cingulated gyrus cell in rats were investiga ted. The results suggest that OVX or PX could induce apoptosis in cingulated gyr us cells, the effect by PX is more serious than that by OVX, and combining effec t of 2 operations is more serious than either effect alone. The effects of OVX a nd PX on cell apoptosis are not related to glial cells.

Objective To evaluate the effect of peer educatio n program by the application of the peer education on human immunodeficiency vir us/aeguired immune deficiency syndrome(HIV/AIDS) prevention and the analysis of the change on knowledge, attitude and behavior about HIV/AIDS among technical sc hool students in Shanghai. Methods Three technical schools in Shanghai were selected randomly. Two classes of each school were selected randomly as education group and the students added up to 284.Two hundred and sixty-one students of another 2 classes in each school were selected as the interior control group. Some freshmen came from medical un iversity were carefully trained as peer educators to conduct the education inclu ding 6 models. The same questionnaires were carried before and after the educati on in both groups. Results After peer education the score of average knowledge abo ut reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, STD was significantly higher than before (P 0.05). Conclusions The conduction of the peer education on HIV/AIDS pr evention among technical school students is effective in promoting the knowledge level, but the change of attitude and behavior is a long term. So we highly adv ocate that not only the health education for HIV/AIDS especially safe sex shall be given and strengthened among technical school students in order to promote t he notion of self-protection but also the conception of care others especially t he HIV/AIDS.
