Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)is an important member of STATs family and is highly expressed in many kinds of cancer.It regulates the tumor growth by influencing the apoptosis of tumor cells and tumor angiogenesis and becomes a new target for tumor therapy.This article reviews the structure of STAT3,the stimulating factors of STAT3,the tumor growth regulating pathway of STAT3,and its potential as a target for tumor therapy.

目的观察中药熏蒸加电动牵引治疗腰椎间盘突出症的疗效。方法120例腰椎间盘突出症患者采取中药熏蒸加电动牵引。中药熏蒸每次30min,每日1次,10次为1个疗程。牵引每次30min,每日1次,10次为1个疗程。依据临床疾病诊断依据治愈好转标准评价疗效。结果 120例患者优84例(70%)、良21例(17.5%)、可12例(10%)、差3例(2.5%)。结论中药熏蒸加电动牵引是一种有效的治疗腰椎间盘突出症的方法。

Objective To investigate and compare the clinical value of the elastic grades score evaluation method and ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method in identifying thyroid nodules.Methods A total of 120 cases confirmed by operation and pathology of the patients with thyroid nodules in our hospital were underwent ultrasound elasticity imaging detection,the thyroid nodules were identified with the elastic grades score evaluation method and ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method respectively,and were compared with pathological results separately.Results The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy rate were 79.4％,81.3％,81％ with the elastic grades score evaluation method,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy rate were 91.2％,90.3％,93.3％ with ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method,of which was significantly higher with ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method than with the elastic grades score evaluation methodby statistical analysis(x2 =28.170,P =0.000;x2 =34.219,P =0.000; x2 =17.928,P =0.000).Conclusion Ultrasound elastography strain ratio and rating score evaluation method can be used as an effective method in differentiating malignant from benign thyroid nodules,which can effectively improve the accuracy rate of the differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules and effectively remedy the diagnostic error band to cognitive differences with traditional ultrasound evaluation.The method of ultrasound elastography strain rate ratio was better with advantages of easy to operate,easy to learn and master,and easily accepted by patients,which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To observe the level of social support and self-efficacy of the breast cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy, and study the relationship between them. Methods 76 patients were investigated with Social Support Rating Scale and Strategies Used by Patients to Promote Health (SUPPH). Results The total and every dimension scores of SUPPH and Social Support decreased in the patients. The total and every dimension scores of Social Support positively correlated with every dimension scores of SUPPH (P<0.01). Conclusion The level of self-efficacy and social support may relate each other.

Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of topical application of tea polyphenol versus pimecrolimus versus tacrolimus for monobenzone-induced vitiligo-like depigmentation in mice.Methods Twentyfive 3-week-old female C57BL/6 mice were randomly and equally divided into 5 groups:negative control group,model group,tea polyphenol group,pimecrolimus group,tacrolimus group.Monobenzone 45％ cream was applied to the back of mice in all the five groups except the negative control group once daily for 40 consecutive days to establish a model of vitiligo-like depigmentation.During the induction of depigmentation,the tea polyphenol group,pimecrolimus group and tacrolimus group were topically treated with tea polyphenol,pimecrolimus and tacrolimus respectively,and the model group remaining untreated.The depigmentation of hairs and skin was observed by naked eyes on a daily basis.Tissue specimens were obtained for histological examination from depigmented skin at nonapplication sites in mice after the end of the experiment.Hematoxylin-eosin staining was conducted to analyze lymphocytic infiltration,reflectance confocal microscopy to observe melanin and melanocytes in skin,and immunofluorescence assay to detect CD8+ T cell infiltration.Results Depigmentation occurred in both application sites and non-application sites of mice in the model group.Compared with the model group,the tacrolimus,pimecrolimus and tea polyphenol groups showed delayed depigmentation,reduced degree and area index of depigmentation,and attenuated lymphocytic infiltration and CD8 + T cell infiltration in depigmented maculae at application sites.In addition,the therapeutic effect of tacrolimus was stronger than that of pimecrolimus and tea polyphenol.Conclusion Tea polyphenol,pimecrolimus and tacrolimus are all effective for the treatment of vitiligolike depigmentation in mice.

Objective To appraise the diagnosis value of pleural membrane biopsy on pleural effussion.Meth- ods 218 patients with pleural effusion who were had pleual menbrane biopsy were retrospectively analyzed.Among them 165 cases were done only once,42 cases were done twice,11 cases were done three times.They were done 271 times of biopsies.Results The pleural membrane biopsy always masculine gender rate was 72.0%,1 pleural mem- brane biopsy succeeds the masculine gender rate was 59.6%,after the masculine gender rate which 2 pleural mem- branes biopsies succeeds was 69.7%.The illness complication formation rate was 8.7%.Conclusion Pleural mem- brane biopsy is a simply,safe and higher diagnosing-rate method.The different spot pleural membrane biopsy may cnhance diagnosis rate.
