Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)is an important member of STATs family and is highly expressed in many kinds of cancer.It regulates the tumor growth by influencing the apoptosis of tumor cells and tumor angiogenesis and becomes a new target for tumor therapy.This article reviews the structure of STAT3,the stimulating factors of STAT3,the tumor growth regulating pathway of STAT3,and its potential as a target for tumor therapy.

目的观察中药熏蒸加电动牵引治疗腰椎间盘突出症的疗效。方法120例腰椎间盘突出症患者采取中药熏蒸加电动牵引。中药熏蒸每次30min,每日1次,10次为1个疗程。牵引每次30min,每日1次,10次为1个疗程。依据临床疾病诊断依据治愈好转标准评价疗效。结果 120例患者优84例(70%)、良21例(17.5%)、可12例(10%)、差3例(2.5%)。结论中药熏蒸加电动牵引是一种有效的治疗腰椎间盘突出症的方法。

4.Comparative study on the clinical value of the elastic grades score evaluation method and ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method in identifying thyroid nodules

Objective To investigate and compare the clinical value of the elastic grades score evaluation method and ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method in identifying thyroid nodules.Methods A total of 120 cases confirmed by operation and pathology of the patients with thyroid nodules in our hospital were underwent ultrasound elasticity imaging detection,the thyroid nodules were identified with the elastic grades score evaluation method and ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method respectively,and were compared with pathological results separately.Results The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy rate were 79.4%,81.3%,81% with the elastic grades score evaluation method,the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy rate were 91.2%,90.3%,93.3% with ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method,of which was significantly higher with ultrasound elasticity imaging strain ratio method than with the elastic grades score evaluation methodby statistical analysis(x2 =28.170,P =0.000;x2 =34.219,P =0.000; x2 =17.928,P =0.000).Conclusion Ultrasound elastography strain ratio and rating score evaluation method can be used as an effective method in differentiating malignant from benign thyroid nodules,which can effectively improve the accuracy rate of the differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules and effectively remedy the diagnostic error band to cognitive differences with traditional ultrasound evaluation.The method of ultrasound elastography strain rate ratio was better with advantages of easy to operate,easy to learn and master,and easily accepted by patients,which is worthy of clinical application.

7.MR/CT Analyses of the Neuropsychiatric Disorders in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis

In order to study the values of MR/CT to the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of systemic lupus erythematosis with neuropsyehiatric disorders (SLE-NP), MR/CT image changes of 22 examinations of skull/spinal cord in 16 patients with SLE-NP were analyzed. The results showed that the images of 18 examinations were abnormal (81.8%), including ischaemia/infarct (9 times), haemorrhage (3 times), focal demyelination (3 times), and cerebral atropy (6 times). The areas involved including basal ganglia (10 times), anterior horn of lateral ventricle (5 times), pons (1 time), and spinal cord (2 times). MR/CT is sensitive for the examination of lesions of SLE-NP, and the total positive rate is as high as 81.8%. Its high resolution rate can display the nature and areas of the lesions, which may provide valuable reference for the early diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, evaluation of therapeutic efficacy and prognosis of SLE-NP.
8.Construction of recombinant adenovirus vector encoding VEGF siRNA and its inhibitory effect on K562 cell proliferation

Objective To construct an recombinant adenovirus vector of vascular endothelial growth factor small interfering RNA(Ad5-VEGFsi) and to observe its inhibitory effect on the cell proliferation of human leukemia K562 cells. Methods The specific human VEGF siRNA was subcloned into the shuttle plasmid pSES-HUS and then cotransfected with plasmid pAdeasy-1 to produce pAd5-VEGFsi by homologous recombination. The identified recombinant plasmid pAd5-VEGFsi was packaged and amplified in 293 cells. At 72 h after the transfection of Ad5-VEGFsi into K562 cells, VEGF mRNA expression and the protein level of VEGF in the cell culture supernatant were determined by RT-PCR and ELISA, respectively. Cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay and cell apoptosis by flow cytometry. Results The recombinant adenovirus Ad5-VEGFsi was successfully constructed. 10.Half-effective target plasma concentration of propofol for fibercolonoscope examination

Objective To determine the effective target plasma propofol concentration required to prevent the response to fibercolonoscope examination in 50% of patients (EC50) .Methods Sixty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients aged 18-60 yrs weighing 45-70 kg undergoing fibercolonoscope examination were enrolled in this study. The initial target plasma propofol concentration was set at 5.0 ?g?ml-1 . EC50 was determined by up-and-down sequential experiment. The effect of TCI of propofol was based on the movement on the movement of the body in response to fibercolonoscope examination. If effective the target plasma propofol concentration was set at a lower concentration in the next patient and vice sersa. Each time the target plasma propofol concentration increased/decreased by 0.5 ?g?ml-1. The up-and-down sequences were analyzed by using the Dixon and Massey method to determine the EC50.Results The EC50 of propofol for fibercolonoscope examination was 4.9 ?g?ml-1 [95% confidence interval (CI) 4.5-5.4 ?g?ml-1] . Four patients developed respiratory depression during examination (6.67%). Conclusion The EC50 of propofol for fibercolonoscope examination is 4.9 ?g?ml-1.
