Objective:To study the influence of anesthesia with propofol or with ketamine on autonomic nerve function in children. Methods: 35 children aged 3-8 years old undergoing general anesthesia for palatoplasty with ASAⅠ-Ⅱ cleft palate were randomly divided into 2 groups, group Ⅰ(ketamine group,n=17)and group Ⅱ (propofol group, n=18).The low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), ratio of low frequency and high frequency (LF/HF),total power (LF+HF), MAP, HR and SpO_2 were recorded before anesthesia (T0), after intubation (T1), incision of skin(T2), 1 h after the begining of operation(T3), after the completion of operation(T4) and extubation (T5). Objective To investigate the effects of transcranial electrotherapy stimulation (TES)on patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). MethodsA total of 62 patients with GAD were randomly divided into two groups,the study group (treated with TES and venlafaxine) and the control group (treated with venlafaxine only).TES was administered 1 time per day for 14 days,while venlafaxine was administered with oral intake of 75-150mg/d for 4 weeks.The clinical effects were assessed by using Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA).ResultsThere was no difference between the two groups in average HAMA total scores,psychic and somatic factor scores before the treatments (P ＞ 0.05).The effective rate of study group was significantly higher ( P ＜ 0.05 ) at the end of the 1 st week after treatment than,but similar at the end of the 2nd and 4th week after treatment (P ＞ 0.05 ) to that,of control group,with regard to HAMA total score and psychic factor score.With regard to the HAMA somatic factor score,the effective rate of study group was not significantly different from that of control group at the end of the 1st,2nd and 4th week after treatment (P ＞ 0.05).ConclusionTranscranial electric stimulation in conjunction with venlafaxine may improve the symptoms of anxiety of patients.

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of high resolution CT for temporal bone traumatic facial nerve paralysis and the guidance significance for surgery.Method:Twenty-nine patients of traumatic facial nerve paralysis were investigated.The predictive diagnosis was made according to the clinical data and the image features of HRCT,then a comparative analysis of the preoperative image features and the surgical findings were carried out.Result:The trend of temporal bone fracture displayed on the CT scan was basically consisted with the surgical findings.The direct CT signs of facial nerve injury include the bone fracture line went through the tube,bone tube rupture or continuity interruption,while the indirect CT signs include local incrassation of the facial nerve,lower bone density of the tube,geniculate fossa expansion,oppressed facial nerve,et al.The predictive diagnostic accordance rates of all the image features were above 90%as to the surgical findings.Conclusion:High resolution CT could localize the trend of temporal bone fracture,and is helpful to estimate the extent of facial nerve injury and other complications.High resolution CT could provide reliable basis for clinical diagnosis and trotment.

Objective To study the interventional effects of Candesartan Cilexetil on vascular endothelial function and expres-sions of ERK/CREB signaling pathway in rats with acute myocardial infarction.Methods 30 rats were randomized into CAN group,AMI group and Sham group.Two weeks after the treatment rats were sacrificed and blood pressure,levels of blood AngⅡ, NO and NOS,endothelial vasomotor effects of isolated thoracic aorta strips,myocardial infarctual area and the expressions of ERK mRNA and CREB mRNA in infarctual myocardium were explored.Results Blood AngⅡ levels were distinctly higher in AMI group when compared with the Sham group,while the NO and NOS level were much lower.accompanied with EDDs decreased seri-ously,and higher mRNA expressions of ERK1 and CREB in infarctual myocardium.All of the above differences were significant. After the treatment of Candesartan Cilexetil,levels of serum NO and activities of NOS were obviously higher and almost reached the similar levels to those in Sham group,additionally endothelium-dependent diastole in isolated aortic strips improved greatly.Mean-while Candesartan Cilexetil can not only increase the plasma AngⅡ,but also decrease the size of myocardial infarction and the mR-NA expressions of ERK1 and CREB in infarctual myocardium significantly.However,blood pressure in all groups was not affected. Conclusion Candesartan Cilexetil can greatly improve the disordered endothelial function developing post-AMI,decrease the size of myocardial infarction and down-regulate the mRNA expressions of ERK and CREB in myocardium of infarctual zone.And all of the above protective effects of Candesartan Cilexetil were independent on blood pressure lowering.

Objective To search for the best method of improving clinical therapeutic effect of facial spasm.Methods The selected 76 cases of facial spasm were randomized into a subcutaneous catgut-embedding group(25 cases),an electroacupuncture control group(26 cases)and a carbamazepine control group(25 cases).Yingxiang(LI 20),Shenting(GV 24),Hegu(LI 4,healthy side),Zusanli(ST 36,bilateral),Shenmen(HT 7,bilateral),and Ashi(trigger point)were selected for catgut-embedding.The 5-0 medical catgut was embedded subcutaneously once a week.The same points were used for the electroacupuncture control group.The 1.5 cun needles were inserted.After arrival of qi,the electroacupuncture apparatus was used,dense wave,bearable intensity,30 minutes,once a day.The carbamazepine control group was treated with carbamazepine 0.1g,three times a day.The therapeutic effect was evaluated by the changes of severity and frequency of facial spasm.Results The severity and frequency of facial spasm significantly decreased in the subcutaneous catgut-embedding group,the difference was significant as compared with the other two groups(P

Objective To investigate the value of hepatic T2 value in evaluation of chronic HBV-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBV-ACLF).Methods The HBV-ACLF group,chronic hepatitis B group and control group who underwent liver MRI (M-GRASE sequence) were enrolled.The T2 map was produced from the post-processing software,and the mean T2 and R2 value of liver was calculated.The blood biochemical indexes from HBV-ACLF and chronic hepatitis B group were collected in 2 days pre-MR scaning.The differences of T2 and R2 values among 3 groups and the correlation between biochemical indexes and T2 value were analyzed.ROC curve was conducted to evaluate diagnostic efficiency of T2 value for HBV-ACLF.Results There were significant differences of T2value (x2 =19.074,P＜0.001) or R2 value (F=10.411,P＜0.001) among the 3 groups.The AUC of T2 value for diagnosing HBV-ACLF was 0.86 (P＜0.001),with the cut-off value 57.73 ms (R2=0.017).Moderate positive correlation was shown between T2 values and international normalized ratio (INR),prothrombin time (PT),haluronicacid (HA) values (rs =0.65,0.67,0.39,all P＜0.05),and moderate negative correlation was shown between T2 values and prothrombin activity (PTA),albumin (ALB),prealbumin (PA) values (rs =-0.67,-0.48,-0.37,all P＜0.05).Conclusion T2 or R2 value could reflect the liver function,and were correlated with some biochemical indexes,which illustrated a good diagnostic efficiency for diagnostic of HBV-ACLF.

Objective:To explore the association of physical activities,sedentary behaviors with over-weight/obesity in Chinese children aged 9 -1 1 years,analyze the gender difference and heterogeneity of the association across different provinces,and provide evidence for prevention and control of overweight and obesity.Methods:Using the data of 40 692 children aged 9 -1 1 years from Chinese National Survey on Students’Constitution and Health in 201 0,the height and weight were measured and the time spent in physical activities,screen behaviors and homework were collected.We analyzed the associations among physical activities,sedentary behaviors and overweight/obesity in boys and girls separately,and assessed the heterogeneity of associations across different provinces with Meta-analysis.Results:The prevalence of overweight/obesity of the boys (27.1 %)was higher than that of the girls (1 2.9%),compared with the rural students (1 5.6%),the situation of overweight/obesity of the urban students (23.8%)was more serious,the prevalences of overweight/obesity were separately 22.6%,1 9.2% and 1 7.5% among developed,middle-developed and undeveloped social economic status subgroups.The boys with physical activities no more than 1 hour per day were more likely to be overweight/obese,with the OR of 1 .09 (95%CI:1 .02,1 .1 7).The girls with screen time more than 1 hour per day or homework time more than 2 hours per day were more likely to be overweight/obese,with the ORs of 1 .1 3 (95%CI:1 .02, 1 .26)and 1 .1 8 (95%CI:1 .03,1 .35)respectively.The high level of sedentary behaviors (more than 1 35min per day)was associated with overweight/obese in the girls,and the OR was 1 .1 9 (95%CI:1 .08,1 .33).There was no significant heterogeneity of effect values between physical activities and over-weight/obesity in the boys and between sedentary behaviors and overweight/obesity in the girls across the different provinces (P >0.05).Conclusion:The associations among physical activities,sedentary be-haviors and overweight/obesity existed in Chinese children aged 9 -1 1 years,which were different in boys and girls.There was no statistically significant heterogeneity across different provinces.The strate-gies to prevent and control overweight/obesity in primary school students should focus on gender-specific needs.
