There are about 150 million people around the world with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV)infection currently,of whom 20%will ultimately progress to cirrhosis and eventually die of end-stage liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma.Interferon (IFN)has long been recognized as the cornerstone of the treatment of chronic hepatitis C because of its role in sustained virologic response and prevention of disease progression. However,it has limited efficacy and multiple adverse effects. In recent years,direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs) have shown good efficacy. This review summarizes the recent advances in IFN-free anti-HCV therapeutic regimens based on DAAs.We believe that, with the emergence of DAAs,IFN-free therapies will develop rapidly and display better prospects.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases 2015;8(6):571-576
In recent years, with the advances in life cycle of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the approval of direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs), great progress has been made in treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC).This article reviews the research progress of DAAs in CHC management, showing the possibility of the elimination of HCV infection by DAAs.DAAs have not been widely clinically used due to high medication costs, but can be used as a supplement for the combination therapy of pegylated interferon and ribavirin.

Objective To investigate the longitudinal residue strain and stress-strain relation of normal human vascular system of the extremities and the relation between the different defect length and the option of repair, as well as a comparison of the different selection of the methods of repair judged from the longitudinal biomechanical effect. Methods A mechanical analysis including stretch experiment and longitudinal stretch ratio measurement were undertaken to evaluated the longitudinal residue strain and stress-strain relation of arteries and veins of the extremities in human. The results of different methods for repair of the defect of the same kind of vessels were compared with Student-t test. The length precinct to repair arterial injuries between end-to-end anastomoses and vein graft through 95% distribution region was evaluated. Results The longitudinal stretch ratio of arterial system of the extremities decreased from the proximal to the distal ends of the vascular branches and the stress-strain relation curve of artery turned gradually to the right side, while that of veinous system exhibited a contrary picture. There was significant difference among the stretch ratio of artery and those of branchiocephalic vein or great saphenous vein (P

Objective To observe the clinical curative effects of shengmai injection on shock. Methods Seventy-one patients with shock were randomly divided into two groups. The control group(35 cases) was treated with general treatment of western medicine. On the basis of above treatment, the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment group(TCM WM group,36 cases) was treated with shengmai injection 30 ml diluted by 5%glucose 250 ml intravenous drip 2 times a day for 3-5 days. Results In TCM WM group, the vanishing times of breath rate, heart rate, blood pressure and urinary volume were significantly shorter(all P

Objective To study the selective tumoricidal effect of adenovirus (Ad)-mediated fusion gene system driven by kinase domain-containing (KDR) promoter on human stomach adenocarcinoma SCG7901 cells, and to observe its apoptosis induction effect. Methods Both the AdEasy-KDR-CDglyTK cells with KDR-expressing SCG7901 cells and non KDR-expressing HepG2 cells were reconstructed, and then they were treated with the pro-drugs 5-FC and/or GCV at different concentrations. The killing effects of the transfection on the cells were evaluated. Flow cytometry was employed to determine the cell cycle distribution, and Hooechest/PI stain and electron microscopy performed to observe the pathological changes of cells. Results The green fluorescent protein (GFP) was observed in 95% of the infected SCG7901 and HepG2 cells when the multiple of infection (MOI) of the Ads was 100. No significant difference on the growth feature was found among the transfected SCG7901, HepG2 and untransfected SCG7901 and HepG2 cells. The infected cells exhibited different sensitivities to the two pro-drugs: SCG7901 cells infected with rAd were highly sensitive to the pro-drugs, while the infected HepG2 cells were not (P

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(09):-
Cerebral palsy greatly affects walking function of the child patients, showing low-effective walking gait. Orthosis is used to change function features or structures of nerve, muscle and skeletal system. Ankle-foot orthosis is commonly used, which could provide appropriate movement control on sagittal, coronal and horizontal planes, maintain joint line of force arrangement, promote functions and improve gait. However, ankle-foot orthosis exhibits some limitations, such as limited range of joint motion, limited muscle function, and infection due to local skin compression. Therefore, clinical doctors and researches are looking for improvements over the past years, for example, to supplement some treatment or protective function based on current orthosis, so as to obtain better clinical outcomes. Appropriate and individualized orthosis is development direction of orthosis creation and design.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2008;24(4):271-273
Objective To evaluate the effect of early limited fluid resuscitation in treatment of severe pelvic fracture accompanied with traumatic hemorrhagic shock. Methods A retrospective study was done on 96 patients with severe pelvic fractures accompanied with traumatic hemorrhagic shock admitted into hospital from January 2002 to December 2006. Of all, 55 patients ( routine resuscitation group)were dealt with routine fluid resuscitation and 41 (limited resuscitation group) with limited fluid resuscitation. The injury severity, degree of shock, start time of resuscitation, transfusion volume were statistically analyzed and compared in two groups. Results Routine resuscitation group received transfusion volume of (3 432 ± 1 156) ml, with cure rate of 64% and mortality rate of 36% ; while limited resuscitation group received transfusion volume of (2 685 ± 524) ml, with cure rate of 83% and mortality rate of 17%. There was statistical difference between both groups ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Limited fluid resuscitation can improve cure rate of severe pelvic fracture accompanied with traumatic hemorrhagic shock.
