Purpose To investigate the diagnostic valuation of Gd-DTPA enhancement MRA in intracranial occuping and vescular diseases. Methods Gd-DTPA MRA(63 cases), MRA without Gd-DTPA(16 cases)as a control group was performed with Elscint Prestige 2.0T MR,MRA. 56 cases were proved by operation or pathology, 7 cases were proved by clinical observation. Results The shape of aneurysms, the feeding arteries, the draining veins of AVM and diploe angioma, the feeding arteries of occuping were clearly showed by Gd-DTPA enhancement MRA and were not showed by MRA without Gd-DTPA.There wasn't much difference between cavernous angioma with Gd-DTPA enhancement MRA and MRA without Gd-DTPA in the shape and blood supply of cavernous angioma. Conclusion Gd-DTPA enhancement MRA is useful and worthy for showing blood circulation of intracranial occuping and vascular diseases.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2012;11(3):217-218
The status of anesthesia and psychotropic substances use for cancer pain control was analyzed in 355 cancer patients in Huanggu District of Shenyang City. The results revealed that patients aged 60 and above accounted for 62.8% of the total; the 5 leading diseases were lung cancer ( 132 cases,37.2% ),colorectal cancer (34 cases,9.6% ),liver cancer (33 cases,9.3% ),stomach cancer ( 31cases,8.7% ) and pancreatic cancer (20 cases,5.6% ).There was no significant difference in constituent ratio of disease categories in the last 4 years ( x2 =18.75,P > 0.05 ).The daily oral dose of morphine sulphate was 60 - 200 mg with an effective rate of 91.5% (325/355). The side effects including constipation, nausea, vomiting and itching can be effectively reduced by prophylactic medication.

AIM: To establish a HPLC method for determination of curcumol and germacrone in Zedoary Turmeric Oil and Glucose Injections. METHODS: RP-HPLC was applied for quantitative analysis of curcumol and germacrone. Hypersil ODS2 column (250 mm? 4.6 mm, 5 ?m) and gradient elution was used. Mobile phase A was acetonitrile and mobile phase B was water. Phase A time-percentage composition was as follows:0-3 min,45%;3-30 min,45%→65%;30-38 min, 65%; 38-45 min, 65%→90%;45-55 min,90%→100%;55-65 min,100%. The flow rate was at 1.0 mL?min -1 . Diode array detector was set at 214 nm and column temperature was at 25 ?C. RESULTS: The calibration curves of curcumol and germacrone were linear in the range of 0.26 - 6.5 ?g(r= 0.999 9 ) and 0.112 5 - 2.812 5 ?g(r=1), The average recoveries of them were 102.1% and 98.8% (n=5), respectively. CONCLUSION: Curcumol and germacrone can be determined by the method, and this will improve the quality control of Zedoary Turmeric Oil and Glucose Injections.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Using Vibrio fluvialis Ⅱ as host bacteria, 19 bacteriophages have been isolated from the 76 samples which were collected from Haliotis discus hannai ~growing seawater in Dalian marine culture company Dalian, liaoning province from May in 1996 to August I 1997. Ultrastructure of 19 bacteriophages were observed with electron to Bradley the results showed that of these bacteriophages belonged to Bradley A type, they have hexagonal heads of bacteriophages were identified with VP1,VP2,VP4,VP8 as representatives respectively. The phages remain stable at pH6. 0~10. 0, moreover VP2,VP4 and VP8 are rather stable at basic pHs. Although the characterization of heat inactivation course of VP4 is different from others, four phages are sensitive to heat and inactivated at 80℃ in 5 minutes. One step growth experiment showed that the eclipse period of VP1,VP2,VP4,VP8 are sensitive to heat and the eclipse period of VP1, VP2, VP4, VP8 are 42, 30, 46, 28 minutes. In this experiment we have isolated at least four different types phages, it suggest that in fact there is a population of phages in the seawater environment. The result of this study provided a way to find the potential value of phages as an indicator of pathogenic microorganisms Vibrio fluvilis Ⅱ in marine environment.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of mini-clamp crushing combined with saline-linked diathermy in hepatectomy for giant hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The clinical data of 58 patients with giant HCC(diameter≥10 cm)who received hepatectomy with the mini-clamp crushing technique(miniclamp crushing group)at the Southwest Hospital from April 2006 to December 2009 were retrospectively analysed.According to the tumor size, location and Child classification, the clinical data of 58 patients with similar parameters and received hepatectomy with traditional clamp crushing technique(control group)were selected from the database to conduct the matched case-control study. All the peri-and postoperative data were compared and analysed via one-way ANOVA,chi-square test and Fisher's exact test. Results The median blood loss and transfusion of control group were 850 ml and 650 ml,which were significantly higher than 400 ml and 550 ml of mini-clamp crushing group(F=16.23,5.63,P<0.05).Twenty-four patients in control group needed blood transfusion, which was significantly larger than 6 of mini-clamp crushing group(χ~2=14.57,P<0.05).The median time for parenchymal transection and portal triad clamping of control group were 45 minutes and 16 minutes, which were significantly shorter than 86 minutes and 35 minutes of mini-clamp crushing group(F=12.76,11.23,P<0.05).The numbers of patients in control group who had complications and blood loss were 43 and 28,which were significantly larger than 13 and 8 of mini-clamp crushing group(χ~2=18.69,16.11,P<0.05).The numbers of patients who had bile leakage, encapsulated effusion of the liver cut face and hepatic insufficiency were 8,5 and 2 in control group, and were 2,3,0 in mini-clamp crushing group, with no significant difference(χ~2=3.04,0.54,2.04,P>0.05).Conclusion Mini-clamp crushing combined with saline-linked diathermy for the treatment of g4ant HCC is mone effective and available than traditional clamp crushing in terms of reducing blood loss and complications.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics and outcome of cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection in infants. Methods All data including time of infection, clinical characteristics, laboratory tests and outcome of CMV infections in hospitalized infants were collec-(ted) and analyzed from January,1994 to July,2004.Results In 87 infected infants, congenitally infected newborns, perinatal infection in infants and postnatal infection in infants accounted for 27.6%,62.0%,16.6%,respectively.CMV hepatitis was the most frequent type of disease with the incidence of 41.3%,in which the incidence of splenomegaly was 10.3%.Most of CMV hepatitis infants had a good prognosis with the improved rate 80.5%.Central nervous system abnormality(including abnormal intension of muscle, convulsion, ocular and hearing abnormalities) occurred only in congenital and perinatal infection with the incidence of 20.4%.Generalized infection, the incidence of congenital infection and perinatal infection was 16.7%,1.8%,respectively.It did not occur in postnatal infection. The mortality rate of congenital infection and perinatal infection were 12.5% and 1.85%,respectively.Conclusions CMV infection is the main cause of infant hepatitis and it can also cause neurologic sequelae. The outcome of generalized infection in congenital infection is bad and the mortality rate is high.
