The effect of Taurine ( Tau)on 45Ca influx of isolated left ventricular muscles in rats has been investigated. The 45Ca influx of the preparations untreated with Tau, are affected by the concentrations of calcium in KH solution. when the concentration of calcium is 0.62; 1.25; and 1.87mmol/L respectively, the 45Ca influx is 1.02? 0.25; 1.37?0.14 and 1.45?0.14 ?mol/g wet tissue, respectively. After adding Tau, the situations above were changed significantly. It was shown that is 1.11 ? 0.11, 1.45?0.12, and 1.48 ? 0.09 ?mol/g wet tissue in low Ca2?; 1.19?0.07, 1.14 ? 0.23, and 0.97?0.24 ?mol/g wet tissue in normal Ca2?; and 1.12?0.05,0.58?0.18 and 0.53?0.10 ?mol/g wet tissue in high Ca2? treated with Tau 10, 20, and 40 mmol/L, respectively. The results show that the varied ,Ca2? concentrations in KH solution can affect 45Ca influx of cardiac muscles, but Taurine has a bisphasic modulation o,f calcium influx in the same tissue. The effects of modulating calcium may play an important role for anti-arrhythmic mechanism of Taurine.

Objective The purpose of the study was to identify the most frequently used nursing diagnoses,interventions,outcomes and linkages using standardized nursing terminologies for elderly patients with abdominal external hernia surgery.Methods For this study a descriptive design was used.The frequently used NANDA-Ⅰ,NIC,NOC,and NNN linkages were identified through 38 elderly patients with abdominal external hernia surgery who were admitted in hospital from March to August in 2014.Data were analyzed by SPSS17.0.Results The finding showed the most frequently used 5 nursing diagnoses were activity intolerance,impaired tissue integrity,deficient knowledge,chronic pain,and risk for falls,the frequency were 15.51％(38/245),15.51％(38/245),15.10％(37/245),14.69％(36/245) and 14.69％(36/245),the most frequently used 5 nursing outcomes were activity tolerance,ambulation,tissue integrity (skin and mucous membranes),wound healing (primary intention) and knowledge (diet) the frequency were 10.05％(38/378),10.05％(38/378),10.05％(38/378),10.05％(38/378) and 9.79％(38/378); the most frequently used 5 nursing interventions were environmental management (comfort),positioning,exercise therapy (ambulation,) incision site care and environmental management the frequency was all 6.96％(38/546).The most frequently used top 10 NNN linkages were also identified in this study.Conclusions The most frequently used NANDA-Ⅰ,NIC,NOC,and NNN linkages for patients with abdominal external hernia surgery from this study not only offer new knowledge to nurses but also provide scope of evidence-based nursing research in abdominal external hernia clinics.

Objective To observe the promoting effect of hypoxia on proliferation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSCs) and maintaining their potential of multi-directional differentiation in vitro.Methods BMMSCs were isolated from bone marrow blood samples of patients with bone fracture, and cultured under hypoxic (group A) or normoxic (group B) conditions.The morphology, proliferation and osteogenic and adipogenic potential of the BMMSCs were observed.Results BMMSCs in the group A showed a long spindle shape and a fish shoal-like distribution, and were well-grown, while the morphology of cells in the group B appeared polygonal or flat.The quantity and growth rate of BMMSCs in the group A were increased compared with the group B (P< 0.05), with an osteogenic and adipogenic potential.Conclusions Hypoxia can promote the proliferation of BMMSCs in vitro and maintain their multi-directional differentiation potential.

Objective:To introduce estimate a technique ofregulative aperture methodin locating lung block in TBI.Methods:We excavated a square aperture in the foam template which is used to fasten the lung block,and the projection formed by the field light through the aperture is used as the reference for adjusting the location of the lung block.Measure the windage of lung shades and block shades by X-ray,in 8 patients.Results:windage values of head-feet and left-right orientations are smaller inregulative aperture modethan in conventional method respectively.Conclusions:Regulative aperture methodis an easy and effective technique to improve lung shielding precision in TBI.

Objective To analyze the genetic difference of biological characters on germplasm resources of fenugreek(Trigonella foenumgraecum) and to study the genetic diversity of them.Methods Thirty-two fenugreek germplasm resources from Ningxia, other provinces in China,and abroad were used to investigate the biological characters on plant height,pod formation height,nodes per main stem,branches number,effective pod per plant and so on.The tested materials were planted in the farm of Ningxia University.The genetic diversity based on the phenotype was analyzed by Word′s minimum variance method.Results The variance analyses of ten biological characters were of significance or the most significance except pod length.The branches number and effective pod per plant possessed the largest coefficient of variance(CV). The pairwise Euclidean distance of the tested materials ranged from 1.11 to 9.49,averaged 4.01.Mean Euclidean distance of single tested material ranged from 2.94 to 6.54.The tested germplasm resources could be divided into three groups in D=6.86,which coincided with the district of collecting germplasm resources on the whole.Conclusion There is a little genetic difference in various fenugreek germplasm resources.Compared with Euclidean distance of germplasm resources from Ningxia,the Euclidean distance of most from abroad is far away from that of other provinces in China.

Objective To determine the preventive effect of Celecoxib on postoperative adhesion formation and its mechanism. Methods We divided 80 SD rats into 5 groups: Groups A, B, C, H and S. Rats in Groups A, B, C and H received the operation of peritoneum rubbing to promote adhesion formation. Group S underwent sham operation. Rats in Group B were given Celecoxib of 40 mg/(kg·d), those in Group C were also given Celecoxib of 20mg/(kg·d), and those in Group H were given sodium hyaluronate (HA) during the operation. On the 8th and 15th postoperative day, half of the rats were sacrificed, the extent of adhesion formation was assessed and the adhesive peritoneum was subjected to immunohistochemistry with VEGF and CD_(34). Results The extent of postoperative adhesion differed significantly among the five groups (P<0.01). Groups B and C had significantly fewer adhesions than Groups H and A. VEGF was expressed most highly in Group A, followed by Groups H, C and B, and most weakly in Group S. CD34 was expressed most highly in Group A, followed by Groups H, C and B, and most weakly in Group S. Conclusion Celecoxib provides durable inhibition of intra-abdominal adhesions in a murine model compared with HA. The mechanism of preventing intra-abdominal adhesion via inhibiting COX-2 is possibly through down-regulated expression of VEGF and reduced microvascular density.

Objective To study the incidence,risk factors,clinical outcome,management and prevention of pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) following major ABO-incompatible allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT).Methods Forty-two patients underwent major ABO-incompa- tible allo-HSCT,including major ABO-mismatch in 33 patients,major plus minor ABO-mismatch in 9 patients,and 27 recipients with blood group O.Thirteen patients underwent bone marrow transplan- tation,25 peripheral blood stem cell transplantation,and 4 cord blood transplantation.Six patients re- ceived donor-type plasma replacement before transplantation.Cyclosporine A (CsA) and methotrexate (MTX) were used for prophylaxis of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).Results All 42 patients had sustained engraftment.PRCA occurred in 11/42 patients (26.2%).All the 11 cases of PRCA were in blood group O recipients of grafts from blood group A donor (n=9) or blood group B donor (n= 2);6 patients with blood group O who received donor-type plasma exchange before transplantation did not develop PRCA.PRCA resolved spontaneously in 8 cases with transfusion support.Two patients were treated by donor-type plasma exchange,resulting in the decrease of isoagglutinin titer,followed by complete recovery of erythropoiesis.One patient responded to rituximab and achieved complete re- mission of symptoms of PRCA.Univariate analysis revealed that the most significant risk factors asso- ciated with PRCA were blood group O recipient,blood group A donor,blood group O recipient of graft from blood group A donor;only blood group O/A in recipient/donor pair was identified as being significantly associated with the occurrence of PRCA by multivariate analysis (RR 10.999,95% CI 1.975-61.258,P

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) are a kind of pluripotent stem cells derived from bone marrows, which can not only support hematopoiesis, but also have capabilities of multidifferentiation, high-proliferation and self-renewing. They have become one of hotspots in stem cell studies. Studies on in vitro intervention with BMSCs with TCMs have made remarkable progress in recent years. According to the findings, some traditional Chinese medicines can promote proliferation of BMSCs, some can inhibit the apoptosis of BMSCs, while others can induce BMSCs to differentiate into multiple cell types, such as osteoblast. Furthermore, some studies also involved relevant action mechanisms. The authors summarized the advance in relevant studies by reference to relevant literatures of this field.
