1.Research progress on inflammatory immunity related signaling pathway for the pathogenesis of dry eye
International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1084-1088
?Dry eye ( DE) is a multifactorial disease of tear film and ocular surface. Inflammation in the ocular surface plays a main role in the pathogenesis of DE. Accordingly, inflammation and therapies that inhibit immune response may become topic for DE in recent years. Unfortunately, there are few studies about signaling pathway that has changed in ocular surface of DE. It is novel and there are few researches on how inflammation active signaling pathway and how it was regulated by signaling pathway on DE. This paper presents a review about inflammation active signaling pathway and its regulation on signaling pathway of DE.

AIM: To provide a HPLC fingerprint of Fructus aurantii micropowder in order to create a basis for(identification.) METHODS: With the help of computer similarity evaluation,Seventeen kinds of Fructus aruantii sample were pulverized and micronized separately, then were extracted by methanol and compared correlation between both extracts. RESULTS: In methanol extraction, contents of aurantiamarin, hesperidin and neohesperidin in micropowder were more than that in pulverized powders, correlation of both HPLC fingerprint was 0.9~1.0. CONCLUSION: The method established can be used for identifying and evaluating crud drug of Fructus aurantii, and further prove that micronization is beneficial to increasing flavonoid dissolution.

AIM: To provide application and identification basis for methanol-extratis of Fructus aurantii by constructing the HPLC-FP. METHODS: The C_(18) column was used with a mobile phase of(A)(0.095%) phosphoric acid acetonitrile-(B)(0.095%) phosphoric acid gradient elution. The flow rate was(1.0) mL/min.The wavelength of detecter was set at 330 nm.Naringin was reference standard. RESULTS: By cluster analysis, the eighteen kinds of Fructus aurantii samples were classified as four clusters: the superior in producing area, the ordinary in producing area, the ordinary and the inferior.By similarity calculation, the similarity of the superior in producing area and the ordinary in producing area were(0.9)~(1.0),and the ordinary and the inferior were less than(0.9). CONCLUSION: The HPLC-FP of Fructus aurantii has been established. The method can be used to identify and evaluate the quality of Fructus aurantii.

Objective To investigate the expression of osteopontin in colorectal cancer and hepatic metastatic cancer and its clinical significance. Methods The expression of osteopontin in 76 cases of colorectal cancer tissues,30 para carcinoma normal mucosa, liver metastatic tumor tissues in 16 patients was examined by immunohistochemical SP staining method. Results The expression rates of osteopontin in normal mucosa, colorectal cancer tissues and liver metastatic cancer tissues were 6.7% (2/30),69.7% (53/76),75.0% (12/16) respectively. The expression rates of osteopontinin colorectal cancer and liver metastatic cancer was significantly higher than those in the normal mucosa (respectively x2 =34.273,23.014,all P < 0.001).The expression of osteopontin was related to infiltration depth, lymph node metastasis, and distant metastasis (respectively x2 =14.347,6.577,7.278,5.537,all P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the sex and age.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients with osteopontin positive had poor prognosis compared with osteopontin negative patients (P < 0.001).Conclusions The expression of osteopontin is closely related to the invasion and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma,a hopeful indicator for the prognosis of colorectal cancer.

Object To study the formation of geoherbalism of Flos Lonicerae on the molecular level Methods Genomic DNAs from different populations of Lonicera japonica Thunb , outgroup Lonicera similis Hemsl , and Lonicera confusa DC were extracted, the 5S rRNA gene spacer region amplified, sequuenced, and analysed with Mega 1 02 Results The fragments of 5S rRNA gene spacer region in Lonicera L was about 210 bp with G+C content up to about 70% The sequences were different in various populations, and can be identified by sequencing The genetic distance between L confusa and L japonica was larger Conclusion The genuine distance between species was larger than that within species; the genetic distance among genuine crude drugs was smaller; the genetic distance among genuine and ungenuine crude drugs were bigger than that among genuine crude drugs

Objective To analyze the efficacy and debase the toxicity of radiotherapy combined with composite Kushen injection in treatment of esophageal carcinoma patients. Methods A total of 126 cases of esophageal cancer were treated by radiotherapy were analysed. All patients were treated with the continuative hyperfractionated radiotherapy. The total dose was 66 ~ 74 Gy/5 ~ 7 wk, 2.2 ~ 2.4 Gy/d of esophageal carcinoma patients. Two groups were given respectively delivered with the same radioactive dosages and methods. But the synthetic group was treated by radiotherapy with composite Kushen injection. composite Kushen injection was given at the dosage of 20 ml with 500 ml of saline infusion for 20 consecutive days. Results X-ray grades of esophageal cancer after radiotherapy. The grade I of X-ray manifestation after radiotherapy for patients in synthetic group was superior to that patient in the radiotherapy alone group. (60.4 % vs 41 %; ?2 =4.57, P

Objective: The inhibition on the proliferation of colorectal carcinoma cell strain with different proliferative potential by ATRA was investigated in present study, which would benefit for the therapy of ATRA on colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The proliferation of LS174T and CW-2 colorectal carcinoma cell strain inhibited by ATRA was determined using cell observation, FACS and MTT methods. Results: The growth speed of LS174T cell strain was faster than that of CW-2. ATRA played a significant role on inhibiting the proliferation of LS174T and CW-2 cell strain and inducting the cell differetiation in vitro. Conclusions: ATRA could inhibit the growth of LS174T and CW-2 cell strain. ATRA could inhibit the proliferation of colorectal carcinoma cell and induce cell differentiation to some extent, which was correlated with the concentration of ATRA.
