Objective To compare the curative effect and safety of salvia miltiorrhiza salt combined with urokinase and sim‐ple application of urokinase in the treatment of angina pectoris after thrombolysis of acute ST‐elevation myocardial infarction .Meth‐ods Totally 124 cases patients were random divided into treatment group and control group ,62 cases in each group ,two group were given coronary heart disease Ⅱ level prevention treatment and dissolved tied treatment (urine kinase 1 .5 million U dissolved Yu saline 100 mL in the 30 minutes within drops finished ,only with a times) ,then control group was given polarization liquid treat‐ment ,treatment group was given Salvia more phenol acid salt 200 mg diluted Yu 5% glucose or saline 250 mL in the vein drops note 15 days ,incidence of myocardial infarction and angina pectoris and drug side effects were observed .Results Incidence of angina pectoris was 25 .81% in the treatment group and control group was 56 .45% ,there were significant differences in the two groups (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Application of phenolic acids from salvia miltiorrhiza salt combined with urokinase in the treatment of a‐cute ST‐elevation myocardial infarction ,myocardial infarction and angina pectoris can be significantly reduced ,and with good clinical efficacy and fewer side effects ,and it is safety .

Objective To explore the value of serum procalcitonin (PCT) for early evaluation of the severity in bacterial infection, and compare it with C-reactive protein(CRP), white blood cell(WBC) and temperature to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Methods A sample of 139 impatients with bacterial infection from July 2009 to June 2010 in our hospital were divided into four groups, including local bacterial infection group(Group A, n = 50), sepsis group(Group B, n = 51), severe sepsis group(Group C, n = 21) and septic shock group (Group D, n = 17) according to ACCP/SCCM consensus conference and the clinical manifestation. Twenty noninfectious patients during the same time were recruited as control(Group E, n = 20)PCT, CRP,WBC and temperature were evaluated in all patients before treatment and PCT were measured 5 days after treatment. Results During the early period of the bacterial infection, PCT was highest in Group D ([42.36±48.49] × 10-6 g/L),which was higher than that of (4.66 ±2.46) × 10-6 g/L in Group C,( 1.08 ± 0. 68) × 10 -6 g/L in Group B and (0. 09 ± 0. 05) × 10 -6 g/L in Group A(Ps ＜ 0. 05), PCT in the four infectious groups were all higher than the control group([0. 05 ± 0. 01 ] × 10-6 g/L)(Ps ＜ 0. 05). No significant difference in CRP between Group D and Group C, neither did between Group C and Group B (Ps ＞0. 05). No significant difference was found in WBC between Group D and Group C,neither did between Group D and Group B (Ps ＞ 0. 05). Temperature in Group D was not significantly different to Group C(P ＞ 0. 05). After 5 days' treatment, PCT decreased in the four infectious groups than before. Conclusion The level of PCT can be used to evaluate the severity of infection during the early period of bacterial infection, which is better than CRP,WBC and temperature. PCT decreases after effective treatment,which can help monitor the patients' condition.

ve To compare the advantage and disadvantages of spectrophotometry assay, microwave di-gestion and standard circumfluence method for determination of chemical oxygen demand (COD) in various water samples. Methods The levels of COD of the water samples were determined by spectro-photometry, microwave di-gestion and standard circumfluence method respectively. Results The relative standard variations were 4.3% ~ 9.59% for spectrophotometry, 3.58% ~5.61% for microwave digestion method and 4.03% ~ 4.27% for standard circumfluence method. The recovery rates of adding standard material were 90% -95% , 90% ~96% and 90% ~98% respectively. Conclusion The microwave digestion method showed easy, rapid and accurate. It presented good practical prospect in monitoring environmental samples.

Objective To discuss the benefits of the external ultrasonic liposuction through comparing the different effects of external ultrasonic tumescent liposuction and simple negative pressure liposuction. Methods The clinical effects of ten patients were compared, in which one side of abdomen was treated with external ultrasonic tumescent liposuction, and the other side with tumescent liposuction and the aspirates were analyzed. BACKGROUND:The tensile and stress-relaxation mechanical properties of sciatic nerve injury after repaired with autologous nerve and poly(lactic acid-glycolic acid) (PLGA) scaffold are rarely reported. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the tensile and stress relaxation characteristics of sciatic nerve injury after the transplantation of autologous nerve and PLGA scaffold. METHODS:Sixty sciatic nerves were extracted from the fresh cadavers dead within 24 hours, processed into 35 mm samples, and were then randomly divided into three groups. The nerve samples in control group received no intervention;the nerves in artificial and autologous groups were modeled into 20 mm defects, followed by repaired with PLGA scaffold and autologous nerve, respectively. Afterwards, the tension and stress-relaxation tests were performed in each group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The stress in each group descended fast at the first 600 seconds, then descended slowly and was closed to the horizontal level until 7200 seconds, and the stress-relaxation curves in each group were in logarithmic decrease. The order of the elastic limit load, elastic limit stress, maximum load, maximum stress, elastic limit strain and maximum strain during tension was as follows:control group>artificial group>autologous group (P<0.05). Our results indicate that the PLGA scaffold holds good tension and stress-relaxation properties, which meets the mechanical requirements of the biomaterials used for sciatic nerve repair.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and safety of goserelin in the treatment of adenomyosis complicated with severe dysmenorrheal before placing levonorgestrel intrauterine system (LIS). METHODS:A total of 140 adenomyosis pa-tients with severe dysmenorrheal were selected from Sanya Family Planning Technology Service Center during Jan. 2014-Jan. 2016, and then divided into control group and observation group according to lottery method,with 70 cases in each group. Both groups re-ceived LIS within first 7 d of menstruation,and observation group was given Goserelin acetate sustained-release implant 10.8 mg subcutaneously via anterior abdominal wall one week before placing. Therapeutic efficacy was evaluated 6 months later. The im-provement of dysmenorrhea was compared between 2 groups. The uterine volume,COX dysmenorrhea score (CMSS),menstrual volume,hemoglobin (Hb) and CA125 content were compared between 2 groups before and after treatment. The occurrence of ADR was also compared. RESULTS:The rate of dysmenorrheal improvement in observation group was 95.71％,which was signifi-cantly higher than 81.43％of control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical signif-icance in above indexes between 2 groups (P>0.05). Compare to before treatment,CMSS score,menstrual volume and CA125 content of 2 groups were decreased significantly after treatment,while Hb content was increased significantly;the observation group was significantly better than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in uterine volume between 2 groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR(10.00％ vs. 14.29％)between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Goserelin in the treatment of adenomyosis complicated with severe dysmenorrheal before placing LIS can effectively relieve dysmenorrheal,reduce menstrual volume and improve Hb and CA125 levels,but do not increase the risk of ADR.

Objective To evaluate the effects of nerve growth factor-beta (NGF-β) pretreatment on cell apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress during ischemia-reperfusion in isolated rat hearts.Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats,weighing 180-220 g,were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 10％ chloral hydrate 300 mg/kg.The hearts were excised and perfused in a Langendorff apparatus with K-H solution aerated with 95％ O2 and 5％ CO2 at 37 ℃.Thirty-two isolated rat hearts were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =8 each) using a random number table:control group (group C),I/R group,NGF-β pretreatment group (group N) and NGF-β combined with K252a (trkA receptor antagonist) pretreatment group (group N + K).In group C,the hearts were continuously perfused with K-H solution for 195 min.The hearts were perfused with K-H solution for 45 min in group I/R.In N and N + K groups,the hearts were perfused with K-H solution for 15 min,and then with K-H solution containing 0.1 μg/ml NGF-β and 0.1 μg/ml NGF-β mixed with 100 nmol/L K252a,respectively,for 30 min.The perfusion was suspended for 30 min followed by 120 min of reperfusion with K-H solution in I/R,N and N + K groups.HR,left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP),left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP) and + dp/dtmax were measured at the end of 15 min equilibration (baseline) and at 5,30,60 and 120 min of reperfusion.Myocardial specimens were obtained at 120 min of reperfusion for detection of myocardial apoptosis (by TUNEL) and expression of glucose-related protein 78 (GRP78),CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein homologous protein (CHOP),and caspase-12 (by Western blot analysis).Apoptosis index was calculated.Results Compared with group C,HR,LVDP and + dp/dtmax were significantly decreased,and LVEDP,apoptosis index and expression of GRP78 and CHOP were increased in I/R and N groups,and the expression of caspase-12 was upregulated in I/R group.Compared with group I/R,HR,LVDP,and + dp/dtmax were significantly increased,and LVEDP,apoptosis index and expression of GRP78,CHOP and caspase-12 were decreased in group N,and the expression of GRP78 was down-regulated in group N + K.There was no significant difference in cardiac function indexes between group I/R and N + K.Compared with group N,HR,LVDP and + dp/dtmax were significantly decreased,and LVEDP,apoptosis index,and expression of GRP78,CHOP and caspase-12 were increased in group N + K.Conclusion NGF-β pretreatment can protect the isolated rat hearts against ischemia-reperfusion injury,and inhibition of the endoplasmic reticulum stress-triggered cell apoptosis after activating trkA receptors is involved in the mechanism.

Objective To analyze Vitamin D nutritional status of children and their height growth relationship in Wanzhou dis-trict of Chongqing .Methods Electrochemiluminescence immunoassay method was used to detect serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D [25 (OH) D]concentrations in 2 727 Children from Wanzhou district of Chongqing ,analyzing the correlation of Vitamin D and children age ,gender ,height ,parental height and other factors .Results There was significant difference in serum level of 25(OH) D among different age groups(P<0 .01) ,there was significant difference between boys and girls among the same age groups of 5 months ,6 months ,4 years old ,5 years old .Children′s height consistented with the national average 4 -6 years ago in Wanzhou District ,but Since then ,gradually felled behind .After adjustment for age ,sex ,parental height ,measured seasonal and other factors ,serum 25 (OH) D concentration was positively correlated with height (r=0 .462 5 ,P<0 .01) .Conclusion 25(OH)D levels were closely re-lated with the development of children′s height .Thus ,children generally poor 25(OH)D nutritional status in Wanzhou district should arouse the attention of parents and clinicians .

Objective To evaluate the role of 1-phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling pathway in nerve growth factor-beta (NGF-β)-produced mitigation of cell apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress during hypoxia-reoxygenation (H/R) in rat cardiomyocytes.Methods H9c2 cells were seeded in 96-well plates at a density of 5× 105 cells/ml (100 μl/well).The wells were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =15 each) using a random number table: control group (group C);group H/R;NGF-β group (group N);NGF-β+NGF receptor trkA antagonist K252a group (group N+K);NGF-β+ PI3K inhibitor LY294002 group (group N+L).The cells were exposed to 95％ N2-5％ CO2 for 4 h in an anaerobic incubator, followed by reoxygenation in a standard incubator for 4 h in H/R, N, N+K and N+L groups.In addition, the cells in N, N + K and N + L groups were incubated in a standard incubator containing NGF-β, the mixture of NGF-β and K252a and the mixture of NGF-β and LY294002, respectively, during reoxygenation, and the final concentrations of NGF-β , K252a and LY294002 were 50 ng/ml, 100 nmol/L and 50 μmol/L, respectively.The cell viability was detected by using CCK-8 assay, and the cell survival rate was calculated.The cell apoptosis was examined by flow cytometry, and apoptosis rate was calculated.The expression of glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78), C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP), caspase-12, Akt and phosphorylated Akt (p-Akt) was detected by Western blot.The ratio of p-Akt to Akt was calculated.Results Compared with group C, the cell survival rate was significantly decreased, and the apoptosis rate was increased in H/R and N groups, and the expression of GRP78, CHOP and caspase-12 was significantly up-regulated in group H/R, and p-Akt/Akt was significantly increased in group N (P＜0.05).Compared with group H/R, the cell survival rate was significantly increased, the apoptosis rate was decreased, the expression of GRP78, CHOP and caspase-12 was up-regulated, and p-Akt/Akt was increased in group N (P＜0.05), and no significant change was found in the parameters mentioned above in N+K and N+L groups (P＞0.05).Compared with group N, the cell survival rate was significantly decreased, the apoptosis rate was increased, the expression of GRP78, CHOP and caspase-12 was up-regulated, and p-Akt/Akt was decreased in N+K and N+L groups (P＜0.05).Conclusion NGF-β can mitigate the cell apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress during H/R, and activation of PI3K signaling pathway is involved in the mechanism.
