Objective To investigate the clinical effect of shuxuetong injection and its effects on oxidative stress in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy (DN).Methods One hundred and twenty cases with type 2 DN meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups equally according to therapeutic scheme.Besides conventional treatments patients in the control group were treated with acarbose,while patients in the observation group were treated with shuxuetong injection and acarbose.The curative efficacy,renal function,superoxide dismutase (SOD),malonaldehyde (MDA) and advanced oxidation protein products (AOPPs) were recorded or detected.Results Therapeutic efficiency ratio (TER) in observation group was 93.3％,significantly higher than that in control group (80.0％;x2 =4.62,P =0.03).The levels of blood urea nitrogen (BUN),serum creatinine (Scr),urine total protein in observation group were (7.9 ± 2.3) mmol/L,(110.7±19.9) μumol/L and (2.2±0.5) g/24,lower than those in control group and the differences were significant ((11.5±2.7) mmol/L,(163.4±20.8) μmol/L and (2.9±0.5) g/24 h;t =7.86,14.48,7.67;P =＞0.000).Regarding of oxidative stress indices,MDA,AOPPs and SOD levels in observation were (3.5±0.4) μmol/L,(50.7±4.8) mmol/L and (56.7±3.8) kU/L,significant different from those in control group((6.7±0.3)μmol/L,(89.5 ± 5.6) mmo]/L and (35.4 ± 4.0) kU/L;t =49.57,40.75,29.90;P =0.00).During the treatment,there was no severe case with adverse reactions and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups (10.0％ vs 11.7％;x2 =0.09,P =0.77).Conclusion The method scheme of shuxuetong injection and acarbose on type 2 DN is effective with increasing the therapeutic efficiency ratio,improving renal function and alleviating oxidative stress with minor adverse reactions.

Objective To study action mechanism of rhamnocitrin in Oxytropis Falcata on enhance the immune function. Methods Kunming mice were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, positive control group, traditional Chinese medicine high, medium, and low dose groups. All treatment groups received gavage with relevant medicine for 10 days. From the 8th day, blank control group received intraperitoneal injection with normal saline, while other groups received intraperitoneal injection with cyclophosphamide for 3 days. Through macrophages carbon clearance test, macrophage phagocytosis of chicken erythrocytes test, and immunosuppressive mice organ index detection, effects of rhamnocitrin in Oxytropis Falcata on nonspecific immune function of immunosuppressive mice were observed. Results Compared with model group and blank control group, traditional Chinese medicine high, medium, and low dose groups could improve the phagocytic activity of immunosuppressive mice, clearance index, and phagocytic coefficient (P<0.05), and increase the organ index of the thymus and spleen. Compared with the positive control group, the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine high, medium, and low dose groups was low. Conclusion Rhamnocitrin in Oxytropis Falcata can enhance the immune function, improve the formation of spleen cells of mice serum hemolysin of chicken red blood cell immune.

ObjectiveTo observe the chronological and spatial expressions of transforming growth factor-β receptor typeⅡ(TGF-βRⅡ)and fibronectin (Fn )in developing mouse kidney and investigate the relationship between the expressions and kidney development. Methods Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting were used to observe and measure the expression of TGF-βRⅡ and Fn in embryos and postnatal mouse kidneys. Results The expression of TGF-βRⅡ was noticed in all stages of glomeruli, renal tubes and collecting ducts, and increased gradually with ages; The expression of Fn was noticed too in all stages of glomeruli, renal tubes and collecting ducts, except for the comma-shaped bodies, and also increased gradually with ages. Conclusion TGF-β and Fn might play an important role in the development and maturation of mouse kidney.

Objective To establish a method for the determination of content in Sinomenine Hydrochloride external applied powder. Methods Diamonsil ODS C_(18) (250 mm ? 4.6 mm, 5 ?m) column was used in HPLC with mobile phase of phosphate buffer (0.01 mol/L K_2HPO_4 solution, and 1%0 triethylamine, pH was adjusted to 3.0)-MeOH (80 : 20). The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was 265 rim. Results The linear range of Sinomenine Hydrochloride was 0.446～4.46 ?g and the regression equation was Y=9.01 ? 10~6X+102803 (r=0.9999). The average recovery was 99.2%, RSD=0.68% (n =9). Conclusion This method is rapid and accurate with good reproducibility. It can be applied to control the quality of Sinomenine Hydrochloride external applied powder.

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of Shikani ( S) optical stylet and Macintosh (M) laryngoscope for double-lumen endotracheal tube intubation .Methods:In the study, 60 patients undergoing elective thoracic surgery were randomly allocated to group S ( n=30 ) and group M ( n=30 ) . After general anesthesia induction , the patients in group S and group M were intubated double-lumen en-dotracheal tube ( DLT) by Shikani optical stylet ( SOS) and macintosh laryngoscope respectively .Intuba-tion time, intubation attempts , cuff broken and oral mucosal or dental injury were recorded;Blood pres-sure and heart rate at baseline ( T0 ) , at the time of intubaiton onset ( T1 ) , 1 minute after intubaiton (T2), 3 minutes after intubation (T3) and 5 minutes after intubation (T3) were also recorded;Hoarse-ness and throat sore of the patients 24 hours after surgery were evaluated .Results:The intubaiton time with the SOS was faster than with the Macintosh [(37.4 ±9.7) s vs.(43.9 ±13.7) s, P=0.039] and the first attempt success rate (87%vs.80%, P=0.488) did not differ between the groups; No tube cuff broke in both the groups;Group S had fewer patients who suffered oral mucosal or dental injury than group M (8 vs.2, P=0.038);The blood pressure and heart rate at T0,T1,T2,T3 and T4 did not differ between the groups;Throat sore(7 vs.10, P=0.390) and hoarseness (5 vs.7, P=0.519) incidence did not differ between the groups .Conclusion:By comparison of the Macintosh laryngoscope , the SOS provides faster DLT intubation and causes less oral Mucosal or dental injury .

Objective To confirm the efficacy of the “Hourglass Pattern”of ultrasound-guided fascia iliaca compartment block (FICB). Methods Approved by the medical ethics committee,we selected 30 patients undergoing selective total hip arthroplasty (THA ) in our hospital between January and May 2014.Before neuraxial anesthesia,ultrasound-guided FICB was performed.After identification of the “Hourglass Pattern”(internal oblique muscle and the sartorius muscle),a catheter was inserted. The sheath between the fascia iliaca and the iliacus muscle was distended with 40 ml of 0.2% ropivacaine,and then a continuous infusion of ropivacaine at a rate of 10 ml /h was administered for 48 h.Loss of sensation in the distribution areas of the femoral nerve and lateral femoral cutaneous nerve within 30 min was recorded.Patients were interviewed at 4 h,8 h,12 h,24 h,36 h and 48 h after block for pain intensity.Patients’ satisfaction scores at 48 h after block and the occurrence of adverse events (infection,local anesthetic toxicity,hemorrhage and hematoma)was recorded. Results The successful rate of the block was 100% without any adverse events.The median of numerical rating pain scale (NRPS)was below 4 points at 4 h,8 h,12 h,24 h,36 h and 48 h after block,and the patients’satisfaction score was (8.0 ±0.9 )points at 48 h after block.No adverse events occurred. Conclusions Ultrasound-guided FICB by using the “Hourglass Pattern”technique can offer effective analgesia after THA.It’s a safe method and can be easily performed.

Objective:To explore the effect of bilingual teaching applied to the classes of histology and embryology.Methods The bilingual teaching was tentatively preformed in a part of the undergraduates in our school during their classes of histology and embryology.Results The effect of bilingual teaching was obviously superior to the traditional one.The theory examination scores and the ability of reading and using professional English were higher in the class which employed the bilingual teaching than in the control ones.Some students thought that the bilingual teaching could mobilize their activities.Conclusion The application of bilingual teaching in Histology and Embryology has a positive significance to improve the quality of teaching.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of CO2 laser assisted posterior cordotomy for patients with bilateral paralysis of the vocal cord. METHOD: Twenty-one patients with bilateral paralysis of the vocal cord underwent CO2 laser assisted posterior cordotomy in our hospital from Jul. 2009 to Jun. 2015. The causes of the bilateral paralysis of the vocal cord were thyroidectomy in 15 cases, cervical trauma in 2 cases, resection of pituitary tumor in 1 case, inflammation in 1 case and without cause in 2 cases. Ten patients underwent tracheotomy before the operation; 9 patients underwent tracheotomy after the operation; 2 cases without tracheotomy. RESULT: The tracheotomy tube was plugged next day after posterior cordotomy. Lots of patients were breathing well without any effort. A few patients were breathing hard, so the tracheotomy tube was plugged discontinuously. Seventeen patients were decannulated 1 year after operation. Two patients were failed to decannulated. The patients were followed up for 3 months 6 years after operation, and all of them were breathing well. CONCLUSION Our limited experience showed that CO2 laser assisted posterior cordotomyis an effective and reliable surgical procedure for patients with bilateral paralysis of the vocal cord.
