Objective To identify the relationship between the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors in sequentially occurring primary cancers of the breast and ovarian.Methods Clinical and pathological data of 44 cases of successive primary cancers of the breast and ovarian in each single patient diagnosed in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from 2000 to 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The median overall survival of all patients with double primary cancers of breast and ovarian was 264 months.3-year overall survival rate was 95.3％ and 5-year overall survival rate was 83.0％ respectively.32 patients were first diagnosed with breast cancer and 12 patients firstly suffered from ovarian cancer.The interval between breast cancer and ovarian cancer was 1-240 months (median 60 months).The staging of ovarian cancer (P =0.005) is the main prognostic factor.In patients firstly diagnosed breast cancer,age (P =0.025) and chemotherapy(P =0.010) were mainly associated with the interval between breast cancer and ovarian cancer.Age when first cancer diagnosed,tumor size of the breast and staging of ovarian cancer were mainly prognostic factors.Age when breast cancer diagnosed and chemotherapy were factors impacting the interval of breast cancer and ovarian cancer.Conclusions For patients with sequentially diagnosed primary cancers of the breast and ovarian cancer,late stage ovarian cancer predicts a poor prognosis.The interval in patients aged 50 and below suffering from secondary cancer is long.Proper chemotherapy for breast cancer seems to delay the occuring of ovarian cancer.

Stable and reliable animal models are required for preclinical studies of new drugs .In this article , we reviewed the rodent models associated with positive symptoms , negative symptoms and cognitive impairment of schizophrenia and the behavioral evaluation on these models , hoping to provide useful references of animal models for the antipsychotic drug screening and preclinical studies .

Objective To investigate the principle and its clinical initial application of the dual-energy imaging with the dual-source CT and increase the realization of it. Methods According to the research results of the dual-energy imaging with the dual-source CT and the course of development of the dual-energy imaging to analyze and summarize the basis radiological physics, the principles, the correlation parameters and the clinical initial application of the dual -energy imaging with the dual -source CT. Results The dual -energy imaging with the dual -source CT is different from other common dual-energy imaging, it has its own special feature. Conclusion According to the analysis of the dual-energy imaging with the dual-source CT, greatly increase the realization of the dual-energy imaging with the dual-source CT.

Objective To analyze the STK11 gene mutation in a sporadic Chinese Datient with Peutz Jeghers syndrome(PJS)so as to provide a basis for the genetic diagnosis and counseling of PJS.Methods Whole blood samples were obtained from a female patient with PJS,her parents and sister.as well as from 100 unrelated,normal individuals as control.Genomic DNA was extracted,and the whole coding region of STK11 gene was amplified by PCR followed by direct sequencing.Results Molecular analysis revealed a novel het-erozygous mutation C73S in the patient,which resulted from the substitution of thymine(T)for adenine(A) at codon 217 in exon 1 of STK11 gene.However, the novel mutation was not found in unaffected family mem-bers or unrelated controls.Conclusion A novel missense mutation C73S,which may contribute to the devel-opment of PJS,is found in the patient.

Background:In the treatment of many gastric diseases,eradication of Helicobacter pylori( Hp)is important. With the increasing in antibiotic resistance of Hp,the eradication efficacy of conventional triple and quadruple therapy for Hp is decreasing in recent years. Aims:To assess the efficacy and safety of quadruple therapy combined with astragalus membranaceus for Hp eradication. Methods:A total of 395 Hp-infected patients with chronic gastritis/dyspepsia and peptic ulcer diagnosed by gastroscopy were enrolled,of them 185 patients were of chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group and 210 patients were of peptic ulcer group. Patients in the two groups were subdivided into trial group and control group. Patients in trial group were given quadruple therapy combined with astragalus membranaceus for 14 days,and patients in control group were given quadruple therapy only for 14 days. Hp eradication was assessed by 13 C-urea breath test 4 weeks after treatment. Results:A total of 358 patients(90. 6%)completed the study. In chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group,the eradication rate was significantly higher in trial group than in control group by PP analysis(P<0. 05),but no significant difference was found by ITT analysis(P>0. 05). In peptic ulcer group,the eradication rates by PP and ITT analysis showed no significant differences between trial group and control group(P>0. 05). In control group,the eradication rates by PP and ITT analysis were significantly higher in peptic ulcer group than in chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group( P <0. 01). In trial group,the eradication rates by PP and ITT analysis were not significantly different between chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group and peptic ulcer group( P >0. 05 ). The incidence of adverse effects was not significantly different between chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group and peptic ulcer group as well as trial group and control group( P>0. 05). Conclusions:Quadruple therapy combined with astragalus membranaceus could increase the eradication rate of Hp in chronic gastritis/dyspepsia group safely.

Objective To investigate the relationship between wheezing and serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3.Methods 130 children with lower respiratory tract infection were selected as the subjects, the children with wheezing in group A([Abstract] Objective To investigate the relationship between wheezing and serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3.Methods 130 children with lower respiratory tract infection were selected as the subjects, the children with wheezing in group A(n=70),normal pneumonia (no wheezing) were group B(n=60); The healthy children who were examined in the hospital at the same period were selected as the control group (n=60). The serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 were measured by ELISA in the control and hospitalized children. The pathogens and allergens of the two groups were also detected. Results The levels of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in group A and group B were (56.92±16.88) nmol/L, (70.68±21.96) nmol/L, respectively, which was significantly lower than that in control group (82.69±17.63) nmol/L, ( t=8.50, 3.30,P=0.00,0.00); compared with group A( t=3.85, P=0.00). The positive rate of group A was 65.71%, which was significantly higher than that of group B (35.00%, χ2=12.20,P=0.00). The positive rate of group A was 30.00% compared with the control group (35.00%, χ2=0.36,P=0.54). The serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 was 75.57% in group A, which was significantly higher than that in group B (60.00%,χ2=14.21, P=0.00). The positive rate of virus detection was 57.14% in 98 children with serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 level<75 nmol/L, which was significantly higher than that in serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 level≥75 nmol/L(18.75%, χ2=14.25, P=0.00). The positive rate of allergens in serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 level <75 nmol/L was 35.71%, which was significantly higher than that in serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 level≥75 nmol/L(21.88%, χ2=2.11, P=0.14). Conclusion The main risk factor for children with wheezing is viral infection, while the low level of serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 in children increases the risk of viral infection, resulting in increased risk of wheezing in patients,so the clinical can occur through the detection of serum 25- hydroxyvitamin D3 levels to predict and intervention for children with wheezing.

Objective To explore the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on behaviors and hippocampal glucocorticoid receptor (GR) protein expression in chronic stress depression model rats and the possible antidepressant mechanism of rTMS. Method Seventy-five male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the blank control group (n=15) and the stress-induced group (n=60). Singly housing and chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) were used to induce the depression model in stress-induced group. Forty-five CUMS rats were selected and ran?domly divided into rTMS group (receiving 10 Hz rTMS intervention for 3 weeks), sham group (receiving pseudo rTMS treatments for 3 weeks) and depression group (with no further treatment). Body weight measurements and performance in the sucrose consumption and forced swimming test (FST) were evaluated before modeling, after modeling and after inter?vention. The GR protein and GR mRNA expression level in the hippocampus were examined after intervention. Results Compared with control group, the body weight growth rate and the sugar water preference were significantly lower in stress-induced group (P<0.01), and the immobility time of FST was significantly longer (P<0.01). After the 3-week rTMS intervention, the body weight growth rate and the sugar water preference in rTMS group, which were insignificantly differ?ent from control group (P>0.05), were higher than those in sham group and depression group (P<0.01). The immobility times of FST in rTMS group and control group were shorter than sham group and depression group (P<0.01). Compared with rTMS group and control group, GR and GR mRNA expression levels in the hippocampus were significantly reduced in sham group and depression group (P<0.01). Conclusion rTMS can improve depression behavior of CUMS rats, which may be associated with upregulation of GR expression in the hippocampus.

Objective:To evaluate the value of adenosine triphophate (ATP)stress/rest nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI)in the diagnosis of female patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods:The clinical materials of 47 female suspected CHD patients were retrospectively analyzed,aged from 39 to 74 years,and the average age was (53.7±6.3)years old.All patients were hospitalized and underwent two-day ATP stress and rest nuclide MPI and coronary angiography (CAG)in two weeks. The results and images of MPI and CAG were evaluated by more than 2 attending physicians. Using CAG as the “gold standard”, the diagnostic efficiency (sensitivity, specificity and accuracy) of MPI for CHD was evaluated. Results:Compared with CAG, the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ATP stress MPI in diagnosing the female CHD patients were 81.3% (13/16),77.4% (24/31)and 78.7% (37/47)individually;the positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 65.0% (13/20)and 88.9% (24/27).There were no severe adverse effects in the ATP stress test and the incidence of adverse effects was 85.1%.Conclusion:There is a highly diagnostic efficiency of ATP stress MPI in the CHD patients.It can be the first choice of examination methods for screening without injury and diagnosing the myocardial ischemia in the female patients.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of resin infiltration in the treatment of post-orthodontic white spot lesions (WSLs)and compare it with microabrasion.Methods:1 0 subjects with 66 teeth with noncavitated and unrestored WSLs after multibracket treatment were recruited.A simple randomized,split-mouth and controlled design was used to allocate WSLs to the resin infiltration and micro-abrasion groups(n =33).The area of the WSLs were measured photographically by using image analysis software before treatment (T0),1 week(T2)and 3 months(T3)after treatment.Data were analyzed with multifactorial analysis of the variances with repeated measures at an a level of 5% and a power of 80%.Results:The area of the white spot lesions(R)decreased significantly in both groups(P <0.05).At T3 the success rate of resin infiltration group(88.68%)was significantly higher than that of microabrasion group (64.67%)(P <0.05).Conclusion:Resin infiltration is more effective than microabrasion in the treatment of post-orthodontic WSLs.
