Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?) is a pro inflammatory cytokine produced primarily by mononuclear phagocytes in blood and different tissues. Current data indicate that adult myocytes can also produce TNF ? in the course of various heart diseases, such as congestive heart failure, myocarditis, ischemic heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, and septic cardiomyopathy. Elevated TNF ? is considered to be contributive to the pathophysiology of these diseases. Methods concerning anti TNF ? therapy and their clinical application are the on going investigations.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(07):-
By analyzing the situation that large general hospitals face at present in their development and the background of reform in the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician in the hospital, the authors offer an account of the guiding ideology for large general hospitals to adopt the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician, the specific steps taken and the initial results attained. They also discuss the impact of the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician on the hospital from the perspectives of human resources, technological innovation, managerial system, and information system. The positive significance of the system of overall responsibility by the attending physician in the management of the hospital reform is also identified.

Objective To study the effects of individualized nursing on the anxiety, depression mood, quality of life of patients with hemoptysis. Methods Sixty patients with hemoptysis were randomized into the intervention group and the control group with 25 cases in each. The control group received single conventional therapy while the intervention group was given individualized nursing intervention besides the conventional therapy. Using SDS, SAS and SF-36 Life Quality Measuring Scale to evaluate the effects of the patients in both groups on admission and prior to discharge. Results The scores of anxiety and depression among the intervention group were lower than those of the control group after intervention. The dimensions of quality of life besides the physical function and bodily pain in the intervention group were significantly different after intervention. Conclusions The individualized nursing intervention can improve quality of care, the state of anxiety, depression and the quality of life of patients with hemoptysis.

Objective To investigate the indications, surgical principles and advantages and disadvantages of microsurgery of intra-spinal tumor via the quadrant pathway. Methods We made a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of patients with spinal canal tumors treated via the quadrant pathway from October 2014 to July 201 5. Results Totally 1 6 patients were included.Their tumors were fully removed by microscopic resection,in which there were three epidural cases, twelve subdural extra-medullar cases, and one intra-medullar case.In terms of stage, there were three cases of cervical segment (C3 - C7 ),four cases of thoracic (T1 - T10 ),nine cases of thoracic and lumbar ones (T1 1 - S2 ). In pathology, there were nine cases of neurilemmoma, two cases of neurofibroma, four cases of meningeal tumor and one case of neuroepithelial cyst. The postoperative symptoms and signs of the patients were significantly improved, and no recurrence or complications occurred in the follow-up 2-10 months. Conclusion Quadrant pathway can be used in removing spinal epidural and subdural tumor, which is shorter than two vertebral segments in length, and the cross-sectional area is less than 2/3 of the spinal cord. However, surgery with extensive adhesion and intra-medullary lesions should be performed carefully, and the surgical techniques are more demanding and a longer learning curve is needed.

OBJECTIVE:To study the infuence of mixed decoction of Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Glycyrrhizae and Ramu?lus Loranthi on extraction rate of berberine.METHODS:The extraction amount from Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Glycyrrhizae and Ramulus Loranthi mixed decoction was determined by HPLC.The HPLC conditions were:Hypersil BDS C 18 column;mobile phase,acetonitrile-33mmol/L KH 2 PO 4 -triethylamine(20∶72∶0.1);detecting wavelength,345nm;column temperature25℃;flow fate1.0ml/min.RESULTS:Decoction of Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Glycyrrhizae and Ramulus Loranthi in combi?nation obviously decreased the extraction rate of berberine.CONCLUSION:Cortex Phellodendri should be extracted separately in formulating extract technic for preparations containing above-mentioned herbs.

Objective To study the effects of collaborative care model on the negative mood and the quality of life of lung cancer patients. Methods Sixty patients were randomized into the observation group and the control group with 30 cases in each. The control group only received usual care, the observation group Was treated with collaborative care, encouraging patients and their families to participate in health care.Using SDS、SAS、activities of daily living(ADL)scale and St.George's Respiratory Question-naire(SGRQ)to evaluate the effects ofthe patients in both groups on admission and one months after the discharge. Results One months after the discharge, the scores of anxiety and depression among the observation group were lower than those of the control group;ADL grade and quality of life score in the observation group compared with the control group were significantly improved, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Application of collaborative care management can improve the state of anxiety and depression, reduce hospitalization time and medical costs as well as improve quality of life.
