Objective To explore the effect of self-made water pillow on absolute bed rest patients.Methods Eight-eight patients were randomly allocated into observation group(n=46)and control group(n=42).The patients in the control group received daily care with conventional cotton pillows which were placed at the compression part, while those in the observation group were treated with newly designed water pillows.Both groups received constant turn-over to avoid pressure sores.The two groups were compared in terms of times of daily turn-over,degree of comfort and rate of skin pressuring red.Results The time of daily turn-over in the observation group was less than that of the control group and the degree of comfort was higher and the rate of skin pressuring red smaller all with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the self-made water pillow can effectively prevent pressure sore,enhance comfort degree of absolute bed rest patients and reduce the workload of nursery.It is simple, economical,convenient and safe.

Objective:To search for a simple and rapid method of preparating the IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes with high conjugate rate.Methods:The IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes were prepared by Glutaraldhyde,Undecanal or Derivatization.All methods were analyzed and compared.The conjugate rate of IL-2 was determined by Bradford Assay.Centrifugal acceleration experiment served to prove the liposome stability.Results:IL-2 conjugated liposome by shiff’s base through Undecanal didn’t cause IL-2-self or liposme-self inter-cross link,and conjugate rate was high and stability was good.Conclution:Undecanal is suggested to prepare the IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes for the anaphase cell experiment.

Objective: To study the effect of Resen heche tablets (RSHC) on tonyfing and warming Shen Yang. Methods: The mice model of Shen Yang deficiency was established by injecting hydrocortisone. The body weight, autonomic activity and swimming time in ice water in model mice were observed. The level of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in red cell and lipid peroxide (LPO) in plasma of aged rats were analyzed. The effect on anti stress in mice was examined. Results: RSHC had the remarkable effect to improve body weight and autonomic activity and to prolong swimming time in ice water in model mice, and to increase SOD activity and reduce LPO in blood of aged rats, and to elevate the ability of anti fatigue and anoxic tolerance in mice. Conclusion: RSHC drug has the effect on tonifying and warming Shen Yang; can promote growth, enhance organism activity, elevate the adaptation to circumstances and protect injury from free radicals.

The author reviewed the development of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy and its related new techniques nowadays.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical characteristics, treatment and the effectiveness of sinonasal inverting papilloma with recurrence and malignant transformation. METHOD: Retrospective comparative analysis of sinonasal inverting papilloma with recurrence and malignant transformation treated from Jan. 2008 to Oct. 2012 in our hospital. RESULT: All the 24 patients with recurrence had the history of sinonasal surgery. Among them, 17 patients recurred once,6 recurred twice and 1 recurred three times. The recurrence time was from 1 month to 14 years after operation. Four patients relapsed within half year after 5 months to 4 years follow-up and the recurrence ratio was 16.7% (4/24). All the 4 patients with recurrence had an operation once again and one of them was given chemoradiotherapy after surgery whose pathological results showed canceration. There was no recurrence among the all of 24 patients followed up until now. Among 5 patients with malignant transformation, 3 patients of them were given radiochemotherapy after surgery. Except 1 patient died of extensive recurrence, 1 received other operation after relapsed twice and 1 lost follow up,all the others were alive without recurrence during 10 months to 4 years. CONCLUSION The surgical treatment with completely and positively is the firse choice and an effective management for sinonasal inverting papilloma. To the patients with recurrence on many times and malignant tumors, post-operative radiation or chemotherapy should be considered when needed.

Objective:To establish an HPLC method to determine the content and related substances of cefetamet pivoxil hydro-chloride tablets. Methods:A Hypersil ODS2 C18 (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) column was used. The mobile phase was 0. 005 mol· L-1 tetrabutylammonium hydroxide solution-acetonitrile (64: 36, adjusting pH to 4. 5 with phosphoric acid). The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 . The detection wavelength was 232 nm. The column temperature was 30℃ and the injection volume was 10 μl. Results:Cefetamet was completely separated from the related substances. The equation of linear regression was Y=2.29 ×104X-4.30 ×104(r=0. 999 9) and the linear range of cefetamet was 51. 01-510. 07 μg·ml-1 . The average recovery was 99. 60% and RSD was 0. 84%(n=9). Conclusion:The method is simple, accurate and suitable. It can be used for the determination of content and related sub-stances of cefetamet pivoxil hydrochloride tablets.

AlM:To determine the relations between the changes of vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF ) concentration in plasma, aqueous humor and vitreous of patients with diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PDR) , as well as to find if the condition of metabolism control of patients with DR may affect the VEGF level.
METHODS: Double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure the levels of VEGF concentration in plasma of non-diabetic retinopathy ( NDR ) patients group, background diabetic retinopathy ( BDR ) patients group, and proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PDR) patients group. The levels of HbAlc in plasma of patients in above three groups were measured at the same time. The VEGF concentration in aqueous humor, vitreous of PDR patients group and normal group was also measured for further comprehensive analysis. Human VEGF immunoassay Quantikine with high sensibility and quality was imported from R&D Co. LTD. , USA.
RESULTS: There was an increasing tendency in the VEGF concentration in aqueous humor of PDR patients group. There was no statistically significant difference as it was compared with normal group (P>0. 05). The VEGF concentration in vitreous of PDR patients group was obviously increased, there was significant difference as it was compared with normal group (P<0. 01). lt showed an increasing tendency of VEGF concentration in turn in plasma, aqueous humor and vitreous of the 3 PDR patients selves. lt showed that there was significant difference among VEGF concentration in plasma, aqueous humor and vitreous of all the PDR patients (P<0. 01). ln normal group there was no significant difference among VEGF concentration in plasma, aqueous humor and vitreous ( P > 0. 05 ). ln normal group the VEGF concentration in plasma was the highest, but in PDR patients group the VEGF concentration in vitreous was the highest.
CONCLUSlON: The significantly increased VEGF concentration in eyes, especially in vitreous of PDR patients may play an important role in development and deterioration of DR. lt was clear that VEGF played its normal biological functions mainly in plasma in normal human. ln severe DR patients, abnormal high may come from ischemic and VEGF concentration in vitreous suggested that it hypoxic retina and there was a tendency to diffuse towards the front of eyes.
