1.The Clinical Effect of Pronunciation aid Device in the Pronunciation Treatment of Cleft lip and Palate Patients
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(06):-
Objective A pronunciation aid device had been made by using dental prosthodontic method for the treatment of pronunciation disorder, which is caused by movement dysfunction because of defect of soft palate tissues in cleft lip and palate patients. Methods According to the defect condition in the mouth, two types of pronunciation aid devices had been produced regularly by using maxillary impression, plaster casting and thermoplastic resin materials and so on. Results In the first group of cases, after 3 patients were wearing soft palate movement pronunciation aid device, and then they were given pronunciation training, it is found that their language clearances degrees had been promoted obviously. In the second group of cases, 2 patients were wearing naso-pharynx cavity closing pronunciation aid device, it is found that their nasal sound and nasal leakage were disappeared. And in the same time we gave patients pronunciation training, and after one year, their language clearances degrees were found to be more obviously increased than before. Conclusions Naso-pharynx cavity closing pronunciation aid device and soft palate movement pronunciation aid device are an effective non-surgical treatment methods for the treatment of naso-pharynx cavity closing dysfunction and soft palate movement dysfunction.

5.Study of high throughput screening for inhibitors of inflammatory cytokine
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
AIM The aim of our study was to establish drug screening models which can evaluate samples' effects on cytokines related with inflammtion, capable of fast and efficient screening of anti-inflammatory lead compounds on the release of inflammtory cytokines. METHODS Heparinized human blood leukocytes was evaluated as a model to study the effects of various classes of anti-inflammatory lead compounds on cytokine release/biosynthesis from leukocytes. Human blood leukocytes was stimulated with LPS (final concentration 0.5~50 mg?L -1), with or without test drugs (diclofenac, a cytooxygenase inhibitor, nordihydroguaiaretic acid NDGA, a 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor) for 1~4 h to induce cytokine release. RESULTS Human blood leukocytes stimulated with LPS could product IL-1, IL-8 and TNF-? in a dose-dependent manner. Human blood leukocytes was stimulated with LPS(5 mg?L -1) for 4h to induce cytokine release. TNF-?, IL-1 and IL-8 time-course profiles were determined in culture media, using bioassays and ELISA. LPS-mediated release of IL-1 and TNF-? was significantly suppressed by NDGA and Diclofenac. In LPS stimulated blood, NDGA and Diclofenac inhibited the release of TNF-?(IC 50 of 149 ?mol?L -1 and 23.88 ?mol?L -1) or IL-1 (IC 50 of 222.57 ?mol?L -1 and 126 ?mol?L -1). CONCLUSION This human blood leukocytes screening system in vitro has the potential to screen new cytokine release inhibitors and sites of action of new anti-inflammatory lead compounds, and increases the screening efficiency.
6.Analysis of Adult Attachment Styles of 50 Surgery Patients
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2000;0(04):-
Objective: Analysis of adult attachment in a very stressful situation, i.e., surgery. Methods: Two widely used adult attachment measurements --Relationship Questionnaire(RQ) and Experiences in Close Relationship Inventory(ECR)-are administered to 50 surgery patients in a hospital. Their personal information is also collected. Results: The distribution of 50 patients' adult attachment is: 18(36%) of them are secure, 20(40%) Dismissing, 6(12%) Preoccupied, 6(12%) Fearful. Moreover, attachment anxiety measured by ECR has negative correlation with model-of-self measured by RQ (P
7.Anatomical study and clinical application of free medialis pedis flap based on the top branch of plantaris arch
Chinese Journal of Microsurgery 2000;0(03):-
Objectives To observe anatomical location of the top branch of plantaris arch which extends from the superficial branch of the medial plantar artery, design and apply flap base on it. Methods On the basis of the anatomical data from 8 feet of 4 fresh cadavers and probed of the Doppler from 50 feet of normal person, defined the anatomic location and body surface projection of the top branch of plantaris arch,a type of new flap design were introduced in the paper. Results The flaps have been used in six cases clinically to treat skin defect of the hand meanwhile, sensation of the flap was regained by suturing nerve. All flaps survived, the appearance of the flaps were excellent, the function of the injured hands were recovered well. Conclusions The design of the flap is reasonable,it is suitable that the free medialis pedis flap of the top branch of plantaris arch is used to repair a small skin defect of the hand.
8.Application of Forearm Flap in Tongue Reconstrution
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(06):-
Objective To sum up the experiences of tongue repair after radical operation of tongue carcinoma with free forearm flap in the last two years. Methods The clinical data of 26 patients underwent forearm free flap transfer for tongue repair from February 2002 to February 2004 were retrospectively analysed . Results Among the 26 grafted forearm flaps, 25 survived. Only one flap occurred arterial thrombosis and necrosis after the second operation. All the patients were followed up for 6 months to 2 years. Reconstruction tongues had suitable volume and shape as well as perfect movement ability. Conclusion Free forearm flap was suitable to repair the tongue defect after radical operation of tongue caicinoma. The rate of operation success was high, and reconstructed tongues could basically meet patient's normal life.
9.TCM Recognition on Mechanism of Female Aging
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;30(4):261-262
TCM boosts plenty theories and practice on delaying aging. Many TCM recognitions on the mechanism of female aging are still useful. The female has menstration, pregnancy, and lactation physiologically, which are different from the male,so the mechanism of the female aging is obviously different from the male. Many factors leads to female aging, such as the growth of age, interaction between deficiency,qi stagnation, blood stasis, and turbid phlegm, and results in functional retrogradation of the whole body.A deep discussion on the mechanism and law of female aging will bring about positive significance in the prevention and treatment of this disease.
10.Thyroid Hormone Modulates the Nerve-Growth-Factor and Its Receptor Trka Iin Brain
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(03):-
Objective Using hypothyroid, hyperthyroid and normol control rats model,we investigated mRNA expression of the nerve-growth-factor and its receptor TrkA in hippocampus and parietal cortex at 14,21,28days of ages,to offer a possible neurobiological explanation about mechanism of thyroid hormone modulating NGF and its receptor TrkA.Methods For hypothyroid group, rats were reared with 0.02% methimazol water from 5~6 day of gestation to the day when they were sacrificed;for hyperthyroid group, rats were daily intraperitoneal injected of 0.4?g/g body weight tiiodothyronin from beginning of delivery;for normal control rats were reared a normol diet and water.NGF mRNA and TrkAmRNA were measured by in site hybridization. Results The peak of mRNA expression of NGF and TrkA is at P21and P28 respectively,.The mRNA expression of NGF and TrkA in hypothyroid rats was significantly lower than that in age-matched euthyroid at P14,P21,P28(P
