1.Subcortical ischemic vascular dementia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(2):137-141
Subcortical ischemic vascular dementia is a subtype of vascular cognitive impairment. Its major pathological features are lacunar infarcts and deep white matter changes, and its major clinical manifestation is executive function impairment. Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) provides an opportunity for the study of pure subcorticai ischemic vascular dementia in the absence of Alzheimer's disease. There is currently lack of the gold standard for diagnosing subcortical ischemic vascular dementia. Imaging examination plays an important role in its diagnosis, while the treatment must first consider the control of vascular risk factors, especially hypertension.

4.Application of resonance spectroscopy in vascular dementia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(7):545-548
Vascular dementia (VaD) is one of the most common dementia types in the elderly population. Its incidence is only second to Alzheimer's disease. At present, the diagnosis of VaD mainly based on the clinical manifestations, neuroimaging and neuropsychological scales of the patients. It still lacks higher sensitive and specific metabolism indexes. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy is a noninvasive technique for detecting the energy of living tissues and the changes of metabolism. In recent years, it has been more and more used to patients with VaD and has achieved initial results in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and cognition-related studies of
5.Effects of cannabinoid receptors and their ligands on gastrointestinal motility and secretion
International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(7):468-471
Endocannabinoid system has several kinds of receptors, all of which have correspondence ligands and pathways of synthesis and degradation, and they belong to G-protein coupled receptors family. Recently studies show that stimulation of cannabinoid receptors has inhibitory effects on gastrointestinal motility and secretion. In this article, we introduce the compositions of the cannabinoid family members, includingtheir receptors, ligands, and antagonists, and their effects on the gastrointestinal motility and secretion. Useful information can be provided for the further study on the effects of endocannabinoid system on gastrointestinal motility and secretion, providing theoretic evidences for clinical use of cannabinoid.
6.The effect of hyperuricemia on vascular complications of type 2 diabetes and the related-factors analysis
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2006;14(3):182-184
Objective To evaluate the effect of hyperuricemia on vascular complications of type 2 diabetes and analysis of the possible mechanism. Methods 586 cases with T2DM were divided into two groups: normal serum uric acid (n=397) and hyperuricemia (n=189).The morbidity of macrovascular and microvascular complications and the serum levels of CRP,TNF,IL-1,IL-2,IL-6,IL-8 and PAI-1 were detected. Results (1)Hyperuricemia group showed higher BMI, blood pressure, TG,TC,LDL,WHR ratio and lower serum HDL-C than the group with normal uric acid (all P<0.05).(2)Group with hyperuricemia showed higher morbidities of macrovascular and microvascular complications than the group with normal uric acid (all P<0.05).(3) Group with hyperuricemia had higher levels of CRP,TNF,IL-6,IL-8,PAI-1 (all P<0.05). Conclusions (1) Hyperuricemia is associated with obesity and dyslipidemia.(2) Hyperuricemia may cause atherosclerosis by inflammation of vascular endothelium, resulting macrovascular and microvascular complications.
7.Characteristics of approach and avoidance behaviors among subthreshold depressed adolescents
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2017;26(3):251-254
Objective To explore the characteristics of approach and avoidance behaviors among subthreshold depressed adolescents. Methods 27 subthreshold depressed adolescents and 29 healthy con?trol teenagers completed the approach?avoidance task, and the reaction time at approach and avoidance task of the two groups was compared. At the same time, their differences were analyzed between the two groups on the Behavioral Inhibition/Activation System Scale scores. Results ( 1 ) Subthreshold depression group (1208.18±338.92)ms) had significantly longer reaction time than those in healthy control group((1058.40 ±204.22)ms) when approaching happy expression ( t=2.02, P<0.05). (2) Subthreshold depression group (37.33±4.46) had significantly lower behavioral activation system scale scores than those in healthy control group ((39.76±3.75), t=-2.21, P<0.05); and the score of reward responsiveness was marginally signifi?cant lower in subthreshold depression group (12.63±1.67) than that in healthy control group ((13.41± 1.30), t=-1.97, P=0.054). Conclusion To activate the approach behaviors of subthreshold depression adolescents may be helpful for reducing the symptoms of depression.
9.Clinical research of acupuncture treatment in the prevention of delayed nausea and vomiting induced by NVB and CDDP for the treatment of NSCLC
China Oncology 2006;0(09):-
Background and purpose:Nausea and vomiting were the most common side effects of chemotherapy and they are difficult to control especially in terms of delayed nausea and vomiting induced by CDDP. Acupuncture treatment is popularly the traditional medical method used in China, being economic and easy to carry out. This research is to study the role of acupuncture treatment in the prevention of NP regimen induced delayed nausea and vomiting. Methods:26 patients with NSCLC were enrolled into a randomized double blind crossover trial. The patients received either hydrochloride ondostrone+Dexm+acupuncture treatment(the first cycle of chemotherapy) →hydrochloride ondostrone+Dexm (the second cycle of chemotherapy)(defined as AB group) or hydrochloride ondostrone+Dexm (the first cycle of chemotherapy)→hydrochloride ondostrone+Dexm+acupuncture treatment (the second cycle of chemotherapy)( defined as BA group). Results:Twenty six patients were evaluated. The complete controls of nausea for the AB group with acupuncture treatment were 96.15%, 96.15%, 76.92%, 84.62%, 92.31% and 100.00% for day 1-6, respectively, for the BA group without acupuncture treatment were 100.00%, 76.92%, 57.69%, 34.62%, 65.38% and 76.92%, respectively. There were statistically difference in terms of the control of nausea for day 3-5(P
10.Study on mesiodistal teeth size and the relationship between upper and lower teeth dimension of normal occlusion from Han Chinese in Xi'an
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
Objective:To study the mesiodistal teeth size and the relationship between upper and lower teeth dimension of normal occlusion from Han Chinese in Xi'an. Methods: 52 males and 55 females with normal occlusion were selected. The mesiodistal width of each tooth was measured using a vernier gauge caliper. Statistical analysis was performed. Results: For the 107 cases with normal occlusion, the mean and standard deviation of the teeth size were calculated. There were significant differences between males and females in maxillary incisors, canines, first molar and mandibular canines, premolars. The normal range was obtained for the anterior and overall tooth size ratio(anterior ratio:78.32?3.01 overall ratio:91.10?2.27); and the regression equation that was used to quantify the tooth size discrepancies was expressed according to the significant correlation between the upper and lower tooth (r anterior=0.754, rtotal=0.851). Conclusion: There is a relationship between upper and lower teeth dimension. Sex difference should be considered when tooth size was used in clinic.
