5.NEUROTROPHIC ACTIVITY IN BRAIN WOUND TISSUE EXTRACT AND THE ORIGIN OF THE ACTIVE FACTORS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Bilateral ablation of the cerebral parietal cortex in adult rats was performed. After appropriate days, the tissue surrounding the wound was removed and the brain wound tissue extract (EWTE) was prepared. Newborn rat cerebral cortical neurons were used as a culture model to test the neuronotrophic factors (NTFs) and neuritepromoting factors (NPFs) in EWTE. In order to investigate the origin of above mentioned factors whether related to the macrophages which appeared in the brain wound region at early stage, we designed to culture macrophages and collected the macrophage conditioned medium (M?CM) to measure their NTF and NPF activities for cultured cerebral cortical neurons. On the other hand, we also observed the effect of EWTE and M?CM on PC 12 (phehrmytema) cells and further studied the action of NPFs. Cur experimental results show that EWTE and M?CM contained NTFs and NPFs for cultured cerebral cortical neurons. These factors appeared in EWTE at 4 days post-lesion, with maximal level of their activities reached between 5 and 6 days post-lesion and there was another peak of NPF activity at 9 days post-lesion, until 13 days post-lesion also detected their activities. The NTF activity in M?CM was lower than that in BWTE, in contrast, the NPF activity in M?CM was higher than that in BWTE. There was NPF activity to PC 12 cells in BWTE and M?CM. According to the experimental assays, we suppose that the neurotrophic factors in BWTE mainly come from the macrophages which appear in the lesion site at early stage of injured brain, subsequently, it may relate to the astrocytes. The components of these factors may be complexity and multiplicity that remain to be solved.
6.Follow-up study in traditional Chinese medicine of reinforcing kidney and resolving stasis and thinking of improving women's ability of high-quality fertility and pregnancy.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(20):3907-3910
High quality of fertility and pregancy is a specific presentation of family planning in this new historic environment. Our country adopted two-child policy from November, 2013. This symbolized an adjustive stage of reproduction policy in 21st century. It is a major adjustment in the development of national population. As a contry of tremendous population, it is very important to have a high- quality fertility and pregancy for the future of the whole nation, which would improve population quality and restrict development of population. The morbidity of infertility has increased significantly, which brings a huge crisis for national population. Under the guidance of high-quality fertility and pregancy in Chinese medicine theory, improving fertile women's ability of high-quality fertility and pregancy, and follow-up studying is of vital importance for evaluating the treatment of abortion prevention by traditional Chinese medicine and human health of high-quality fertility and pregancy.

7.Treatment of spinal giant cell tumor of bone
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(07):-
Spinal giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB) is a kind of primary benign bone tumors in the spine. It is rich in blood supply, aggressive, and easily recurring and lung metastasizing. So the benign GCTBs of the spine remains a challenge to treat. This article reviews the therapeutic methods in spinal GCTBs,including surgery, radiation therapy, arterial embolization. The treatment for the tumor with lung metastasis is also covered in this review. It is established that En bloc resection with wide margins is the most effective method to spinal GCTBs. To eliminate the residual tumor cells, adjuvant radiation should be done when complete resection is not available. Arterial embolization can be used to treat the huge sacral GCTBs.For those with lung metatasis, they can be controlled by lobectomy and /or chemotherapy.
8.Effect of ischemic preconditioning on the apoptosis of hepatocytesand expression of HIF-1? and Survivin in rats
Chinese Journal of Current Advances in General Surgery 1999;0(04):-
Objective:To observe the effect of ischemic preconditioning(IP)on hepatocellular apoptosis caused by ischemia-reperfus ion(IR)injury and expression of apoptosis regulatory genes(Survivin,HIF-1?)protein,to explore the protective mechanisms of IP on IR injury in rat liver. Methods:Ninty SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation(SO)group,ischemia-reperfusion(IR)group,ischemic preconditioning(IP)group. In SO group, the hepatoduodenal ligament of rat was only pulled and separated, and then closed the abdomen;IR group subjected to 30 minutes of ischemia;IP group was achieved by ischemia for 5 minutes, followed by reperfusion for 5 minutes before continuous to ischemia for 30 minutes.Ten rats of each group were killed after reperfusion for 2,6,12,24 hours respectively, then liver tissues were taken out.The rats in SO group were killed after operation for 2 hours. To detect the Apotosis index(A)Iand Survivin,HIF-1? protein levels. Results:AI of hepotocytes significantly increased in IR group and IP group than that in SO group(P
9.The Effects of Antagonist of Angiotensin II Receptors on Rat Acute Pancreatitis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the effects of antagonist of angiotensin II(Ang II) receptors on acute pancreatitis(AP) of rats. Methods The Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into normal group, AP group, AP+lower dose of valsartan(5mg/kg) group , AP+higher dose of valsartan(8mg/kg) group, lower dose of valsartan group and higher dose of valsartan group, and each group containing 6 animals. AP animal models were induced by intraperitoneal injection of cerulein. Valsartan was given by intragastric administration. The histopathological changes of pancreas were observed and scored, and the pancreatic edema was evaluated. The levels of plasma amylase (AMY) and pancreatic myeloperoxidase (MPO) were measured. Results Compared with AP group, the pathologic lesions of pancreas and pancreatic edema decreased in the group AP+ valsartan, and the levels of plasma AMY and MPO also reduced. Conclusion Pretreatment with antagonist of angiotensin II receptors in rat acute pancreatitis can markedly reduce pancreatic injury and inflammation.
