3.Differential diagnosis of superficial lymphadenophathy with color Doppler flow imaging

Objective To depict the characteristics of the flow shape and distribution of superficial lymphadenophathy and to clarify the effiency of color Doppler flow imaging and power Doppler sonography in the differential diagnosis.Methods Prospectively,81 cases with 95 lesions were observed and clarified as four vascular patterns by sonography and were correlated with the histopathological or clinical diagnosis.The four vascular patterns were as follows: type Ⅰ shows central hilar vascularity with radial symmetric branches; type Ⅱ shows eccentric hilar vascularity with deformed radial branches; type Ⅲ shows subcapsular vessels(Ⅲa),mixed vessels(Ⅲb),or multifocal hilar vasculature(Ⅲc); type Ⅳ shows spotted or peripheral flow signals.Results The majority ( 85.0% ) of the benign reactive nodes revealed a vascular pattern of type Ⅰ,while a few ( 10.0% ) showed that of type Ⅱ.The most( 97.8% ) of lymphoma showed the patterns of type Ⅱ( 33.3% ) and type Ⅲ( 64.5% , and Ⅲa 28.9% ,Ⅲb 22.2% ,Ⅲb 13.4% ,respectively).The vascular patterns of metastatic lymphadenopathies were of type Ⅳ( 66.7% ) and type Ⅲb(26.7%).The lymphoma which revealed a vascular pattern of type Ⅱ were mostly of high grade differentiation in pathological results.The differrent vascular types of metastatic nodes has no correlation with its histologic source.Conclusions Color Doppler sonography is a valuable method for aid in the differential diagnosis of superficial lymphadenophathy by using findings of intranodal vascularity.
4.Study on Inhabition Effect of Chitlsan Oligosaccharide on Tumour

Objective To observe the inhibition effect of chitlsan oligosaccharide on tumour. Methods The growth of tumour were observed after chitlsan oligosaccharide was injected into abdominal cavity(ip) or introtumour of mice;And the anti proliferation activities of chitlsan oligosaccharide on cells were evaluated by means of MTT assay. Results Growth of tumour were inhibited by chitlsan oligosaccharide, necrosis was observed in the tumour tissue.Chitlsan oligosaccharide affected the growth of cell. The effect was related to concentration of chitlsan oligosaccharide,but not depending of culture time.The apoptosis of cells could be seen under the transmission electron.Conclusion Chitlsan oligosaccharide could inhibit the growth of tumour and might induce apoptosis of cell.
5.Coping Strategies of the Elderly with Impaired Glucose Regulation of Different Prognosis

Objective: To explore the coping strategies of the elderly with Impaired Glucose Regulation(IGR), to compare the differences of coping strategies among the groups of different prognosis and to provide some advice on psychological intervention. Methods: Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG)and two-hour postprandial Plasma Glucose of OGTT(OGTT2hPG)of 220 old persons with IGR were tested, and they were assessed by TCSQ. Results: 27.73%~78.64% of old people with IGR chose active strategies when facing stress, 4.09%~18.18% of them adopted negative strategies. There were no significant differences of coping strategies among the groups of different prognosis. Conclusion: It was better to pay more attention to those who mainly selected negative strategies in psychological intervention on the elderly with IGR.

7.Effects of minocycline on cerebral blood flow and endothelin-1 protein expression in ischemic penumbra of rats with focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion

Objective To investigate the effects of minocycline on regional cerebral blood flow and the expression of endothe-lin-1(ET-1) in ischemic penumbra of rats after focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury .Methods Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) with nylon suture was used to be established as focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion mode (I/R) ,a total of 35 male Spra-geue-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups :sham-operated group(n= 10) ,model group(n= 15) and minocycline group (n= 15) .After 24 hours of I/R ,The neurobehavioral function of rats was evaluated by Longa′s test ,the regional cerebral blood flow in ischemic penumbra was assessed with laser-Doppler flowmetry .After 6 and 24 hours of I/R ,the expression of ET-1 in peri-in-farct region was measured by both immunohistochemistry and radioimmunoassay .Results Compared with sham-group ,the Longa′s test scales ,ET-1 protein expression increased and the rCBF decreased in ischemic penumbra in model group(P< 0 .05) .the Longa′s test scales ,ET-1 protein expression decreased and the rCBF decreased in ischemic penumbra in minocycline group when compared to the model group(P< 0 .05) .Conclusion Minocycline could promote neurological functional recovery of rats after MCAO ,which might be attributed to increase the cerebral blood flow and regulate the endothelin-1 expression in ischemic penumbra .
8.Influence of morphine on synaptophysin expression and synapse structure in hippocampus of mice

Objective:To study the influence of morphine on the expression of synaptophysin(SYN)and synapse structure in mice hippocampus,so as to provide pathological evidence for studying the development and treatment of chronic morphine intoxication, addiction and abstinence symptoms of morphine.Methods:Twenty mice were evenly randomized into control group and experiment group.Mice in control group were injected with normal saline(0.1 ml daily)and those in experimental group were injected with morphine(0.1 ml,1 mg daily).Thirty days later the mice in 2 groups were killed and their brain tissues were harvested and made into slices,stained with immunohistochemical techniques(SP)and photographed under the light microscope.The images were analyzed with the image analytical system and the data were statistically analyzed.Results:In the control group,positive staining of SYN was found in the entorhinal area,subiculum,stratum plextiforme,polymorphic layer of gyrus dentatus,stratum oriens,and stratum radiatum of hippocampus;weak positive staining of SYN was noticed in the stratum lacunosum-moleculare of hippocampus;positive staining of SYN was also found the membrane of pyramidal cells and granule cells,with the mean gray scale value of the hippocampal structure being 132.84?8.67.Positively stained neurons was also found in the entorhinal area and the subiculum,with a intensity of(7.80?1.03)/ mm~2.In the experiment group,the suhiculum and polymorphic layers of gyrus dentatus were positively stained for SYN;the entorhinal area,stratum oriens,stratum radiatum and stratum lacunosum-moleculare of hippocampus were strongly positive of SYN;the membrane of pyramidal cells and granule ceils were also strongly positive of SYN,with the mean gray scale value of the hippocampal structure being 116.27?5.70.Strongly stained neurons were also found in the entorhinal area and the subiculum,with the intensity being(11.90?1.45)/mm~2.The number of SYN positive neurons and the intensity of SYN in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P
9.Clinical and imaging features of precheron artery infarction

Objective To investigate the imaging and clinical features of Percheron artery infarction.Methods The clinical manifestations,imaging data,treatment,and prognosis of 10 patients with Percheron artery infarction were analyzed.Results All 10 patients had acute onset and had different degrees of consciousness disorders,including vertical gaze palsy (n =3),language disorder (n =3),limb weakness (n =6),and memory impairment (n =4).MRI showed bilateral thalamus infarction.Midbrain V-sign in one patient was observed.Cerebral angiography revealed that one patient had Percheron artery infarction.All 10 patients were improved and discharged,but left with varying degrees of sequelae.Conclusions Percheron artery infarction is rare in clinical practice.The diagnosis is mainly based on clinical manifestations and imaging examinations.Cerebral angiography can diagnose the disease.

Objective To investigate the effects of simvastatin on membrane ionic currents in left ventricular myocytes after acutemyocardial infarction(AML.so as to explore the ionic mechanism of statin treatment for antiarrhythmia.Methods Fourty-five NewZeland rabbits were randomly divided into three groups:AMI group,simvastatin intervention group(statin group)and sham-operatedcontrol group (CON).Rabbits were infarcted by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery after administration of oralisolated enzymatically from the epicardial zone of the infractcd region.Whole cell patch clamp technique was used to record mmbranewas significantly decreased in AMI group(-23.26+5.1 8)compared with CON(-42.78±5.48,P<0.05),while it was significantlyincreased in Stating roup(-39.23±5.45)compared with AMI group(P<0.01);The peak Ica-L current density(at 0 mV) was significantlydecreased in AMI group(-3.23±0.91)compared with CON(-4.56±1.01,P<0.05),while it was significantly increased in Statin group(-4.18±0.95)compared with AMI group(P<0.05);The Ito current density(at+60 mV)was significantly decreased in AMI group(10.41±1.93)compared with CON(17.41±3.13,P<0.01),while it was significantly increased in Statin group(16.21±2.42)compared withattenuate this change without lowering the serum cholesterol level,suggesting that simvastatin reverse this electrical remodeling thuscontributing to the ionic mechanism of statin treatment for antiarrhythmia.
