1.Efficacy Observation of Octreotide Combined with Enzyme Supplementation in Treatment of Pain in Chronic Pancreatitis
Herald of Medicine 2014;(11):1468-1470
Objective To observe the effects of octreotide combined with enzyme supplementation in treatment of pain in chronic pancreatitis. Methods Fifty-six patients were divided into two groups. Thirty-six patients in the treatment group were treated with octreotide combined with enzyme supplementation, and twenty patients in the control group were treated with enzyme supplementation alone. The pain relief rate, analgesic requirement per day and average days in hospital were analyzed between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the treatment group presented better improvement of abdominal pain(P〈0. 05),less requirement of analgesics(P〈0. 05),and shorter duration in hospital(P〈0. 05). Conclusion Octreotide combined with enzyme supplementation is effective in alleviating pain and improving quality of life in patients with chronic pancreatitis.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of iatrogenic bile duct injury
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2008;7(6):447-449
Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of iatrogenic bile duct injury(IBDI).Methods The clinical data of 92 patients with IBDI who had been admitted to our hospital from January 1994 to December 2007 were retrospectively analyzed. Results The diagnosis of IBDI was based on the clinical findings, diagnostic abdominocentesis and imaging examination.Sixteen patients gave up treatment because of economic reasons, and 2 patients who were complicated with sepsis and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome died shortly after being transferred to our hospital.Forty-eight patients were treated by Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy,14 by endoscopic treatment.2 by bile duet repair+T tube drainage,3 by percutaneous catheter drainage,1 by choledochoduodenostomy,4 by percutaneous transhepatic cholangiodrainage, and 2 by ultrasound guided percutaneous puncture drainage.Sixty-two patients were followed up for 4 month to 10 years(mean,3.6 years),and satisfactory results were obtained. Conclusions Detection of IBDI during operation and prompt repair yield favorable outcome.Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy is the best choice for bile duct injury complicated with biliary stricture.Endoscopic and interventional treatments are important auxiliary measures in the treatment of bile duct injury.

Objective To survey the status and influence factors of radiology department nurses self-protection behavior. Methods The radiology department nurses′self-protection behavior questionnaire compiled by the researchers were used to conduct a questionnaire survey of 100 nurses in different grade hospitals. Results Scores of the item body fluid of patients with contact contaminated were wearing glovesof second-class hospital and third-class hospital were (3.695±0.73) points and (3.73±0.74) points, and there was no statistically significant different between them (P> 0.05). The other items about self-protective behavior of nurses from different levels of hospitals had some differences (t=-4.24-2.43, P<0.05). Conclusions Self-protective behavior of radiology department nurses is affected by many factors. Nursing managers should take effective measures to improve nurses′self-protective consciousness and ability.

Objective: To study the effect of GLP-Ⅱ on residual bowel absorption of glucose in a rat model of short bowel syndrome. Methods: Rats undertaken 75% small bowel resection were randomly assigned to SB group and SB/GLP-Ⅱ group. Another group of weight-matched normal rats(Normal) received normal diet ad libitum was used as control group for SB group. All rats were allowed normal chow on the 1st postoperative day(POD). On the POD6,the intestinal glucose absorption data per unit length as well as per unit weight of ileum were measured by in vivo circulatory perfusion experiment. Results: Length of perfused ileum in 3 groups of rats were not significantly different. Wet weight to length ratio of perfused ileum in SB group was significantly higher than that of normal group, but significantly lower than that of SB/GLP-Ⅱ group. 45min glucose absorption of per cm ileum in SB/GLP-Ⅱ group was significantly higher than that of SB group(P0.05). Conclusions: In a rat model of SBS, GLP-Ⅱ can enhance the intestinal glucose absorption measured as per unit length of resudial ileum and GLP-Ⅱ manifests a trend to increase the glucose absorption measured as per unit wet weight of resudial ileum.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer and the blastocyst derived from frozen-thawed cleavage stage embryo transfer. Methods The data of 5 1 8 cycles in reproductive medicine center of the hospital from Sep-tember 2012 to August 2013 were analyzed retrospectively.According to the frozen-embryos type, all patients were divided into three groups, group A:frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer,129 cycles;group B:blastocysts derived from frozen-thawed cleavage stage embryos transfer,123 cycles;group C:frozen-thawed cleavage embryos transfer,266 cycles. The clinical outcomes of all groups were compared with each other, and the rates of blastocyst formation and cancellation were compared between group A and group B.Re-sults The rates of biochemical pregnancy, clinical pregnancy and embryo implantation in group A(70.5%,61.2%,42.3%)and group B(67.5%,58.2%,40.2%)were significantly higher than group C(53.0%,42.5%,23.1%)(P<0.05);there were no signif-icant differences in the rates of early abortion, ectopic pregnancy, multiple pregnancy among three groups(P>0.05);there were no significant differences in the blastocyst formation rates of the high quality cleavage embryos at D3 in fresh cycles and the frozen-thawed cleavage embryos(62.5%vs.57.7%)(P>0.05)and those two groups were both significantly higher than the poor quality cleavage embryos at D3 in fresh cycles(20.3%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Blastocyst transfer in vitrified-thawed cycles could get rel-atively satisfactory clinical outcomes. There are higher blastocyst formation rate and better clinical outcomes of transfer blastocyst derived from frozen-thawed cleavage embryo.

Objective To investigate neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of adult rat following conditioned fear stimulus. Methods 24 adult male rats were randomly divided into conditioned fear stimulus group and control group, and all rats were intraperitoneally injected bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)3 days before conditioned fear stimuli.Animals in conditioned fear stimulus group were given monotone matching foot shock and made conditioned fear stimulus model, animals in control group only give monotone.Freezing time was detected before stimuli and 7th,14th days after stimuli, then rats were sacrificed 7th or 14th day after fear conditioned stimulus, and immunohistochemistry for Brdu was detected. Results Behavioral assessment showed that the percents of freezing time in conditioned fear stimulus group 7th,14th days after conditioned fear stimulus were significantly high(88.68%,91.33%)than those in control group(11.18%,14.23%,P<0.01)and before stimulus(24.11%,16.11%,P<0.01).Compared to control group(1567±28,580±5),Brdu positive cells in dentate gyrus of rat in conditioned fear stimulus group(1364±21,296±22)were decreased, and it reached to a statistical significance on 14th day (P<0.05).Conclusion The decreased neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of adult rat following conditioned fear stimuli may have relation to fear and other emotion memory.
