The research of esophageal target is a difficult spot in the precise radiotherapy and the target mobility has an important effect for the radiotherapy of esophageal cancer.By different breathing control techniques, controlling the patient's respiratory may narrow target mobility so as to improve the accuracy of radiotherapy. But the present studies of the movement range of esophageal cancer with the respiratory control technologies have not come to a consistent standard. The area shape and position change of esophageal cancer target is a key problem that needs to be solved in the esophageal precise radiotherapy.

As a transcriptional repressor,Bmi-1 is a member of polyeomb group gene family. It may play an important role in self-renewal ability and proliferation of stem cell.At present, studies show that Bmi-1 is highly expressed in a variety of solid tumors, which can be regarded as one of the markers of cancer stem cells and has a close relation to the cancer development and progression and radiation resistance. It will provide an important target gene for the treatment of malignant tumors.

Objective To develop an ELISA for detection of anti-dsDNA antibody by using plasmid DNA as antigen. Methods DNA in plasmid pBV220 for prokaryotic expression vector was purified by base-cleavage. The microtiterplates were pretreated by poly-L-lysine and coated by the plasmid DNA in a dilution of 1∶50 as antigen. An ELISA method for detection of serum anti-dsDNA antibodies was developed with HRP-SPA as enzyme-labeled marker. The IIF using crithidia lucilia as substrate was performed simultaneously for comparison. The serum samples from 64 patients with SLE, 8 with MCTD and 17 with RA were detected. Results The concentration of DNA was 1 54 g/L by UV spectrophotometer at wavelength of 260 nm. The positive percentage of ELISA for anti-dsDNA was higher than that of IIF. By comparison with IIF the positive percentages in SLE, MCTD and RA groups were 23 4% vs 17 2%, 12 5% vs 12 5% and 11 8% vs 5 9%, respectively, and the coincident rates between the 2 methods were 93 8%, 100% and 94 1% respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of the developed ELISA for detection of anti-dsDNA were 100% and 93 4% when IIF was as gold standard. Conclusion The ELISA by using plasmid DNA as antigen to detect anti-dsDNA has fine precision, sensitivity and specificity. Its positive rate is higher than that of IIF thus it will contribute to monitor the activities for SLE patients′ condition.

Purpose:To investigate the expression and significance of VEGF in lung carcinoma. Methods:SP immu- nohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of VEGF and MVD in 42 cases of lung carcinoma. Results:The expression rate of VEGF was 81.0% in lung carcinoma. In the group of VEGF positive staining, microvessel density (MVD) was (45.68?9.23) per high power field which was significantly larger than(34.58?10.22) per high power field in the group of VEGF negative staining (P

Objective To understand the pathogenetic role and clinical significance of interleukin 6(IL- 6 ),tumor necrosis factor(TNF) and soluble interleukin- 2 receptor(sIL- 2R) in patients with cerebral infarction(CI) .Methods The IL- 6,TNF and sIL- 2R levels were measured in 46 CI patients with ELISA. Results The serum IL- 6,TNF and sIL- 2R levels of CI group were much higher than those of controls group .The variation of IL- 6,TNF and sIL- 2R levels was closely related to the size of cerebral infarction. The serum IL- 6,TNF and sIL- 2R levels of recovery period were much lower than those of acute period in patients with CI .Conclusions The IL- 6 ,TNF and sIL- 2R take part in the pathologic process after CI .The measurement of IL- 6, TNF and sIL- 2R is useful in determining the size of cerebral infarction.

PurposeSpinal cord is one of the most frequently involved sites of multiple sclerosis (MS), which seriously affects the life quality of patients. In this paper, we investigate the application value of voxel-based morphology (VBM) and resting-state magnetic resonance imaging (RS-fMRI) in multiple sclerosis patients with single spinal cord involvement (MS-SSCI).Materials and Methods Three-dimensional T1WI data and RS-fMRI data were acquired from 20 patients with MS-SSCI and 20 normal controls, grey matter volume (GMV), changes of white matter volume (WMV), total intracranial volume (TIV) and local nuclei volume were compared between the two groups using VBM, posterior cingulate cortex (PCC) was regarded as the seed point and the functional connectivity about whole brain was compared between the two groups by using resting-state functional connectivity analysis, the relationships between MS-SSCI structure, function change parameters and expanded disability states scale (EDSS) scores were further explored.Results①Compared with the control group, GMV, WMV, TIV of MS-SSCI group were not significantly reduced, only the volume of some regions (bilateral middle temporal gyrus, left inferior temporal gyrus) showed significant atrophy (P<0.01); MS-SSCI exhibited increased functional connectivity (FC) in the left medial prefrontal cortex, left inferior temporal gyrus, left caudate nucleus and right supplementary motor area (two-sample t test, after AlphaSim correction,P<0.01, voxel size >40).②There was no significant correlation (P>0.05) between MS-SSCI structure change parameters and EDSS; while a significant correlation between EDSS scores and FC was noted in the left inferior temporal gyrus (r=0.633,P<0.05).Conclusion Both structural abnormalities and altered FC with PCC can be detected in MS-SSCI, but only functional parameters are associated with clinical abnormalities, which are more sensitive than microstructural changes.

Objective To quantitatively analyze the coronary artery ostia by three-dimensional trans-esophageal echocardiography (3D-TEE).Methods The full-volume images of aortic root and coronary artery ostia were acquired by 3D-TEE in 95 adult patients. The Philips QLab 3DQ measurement technology was employed to determine three mutually perpendicular planes:(1) The transverse plane cross the bottom of three coronary artery sinus.(2) The sagittal plane perpendicular to sino-tubular junction.(3) The coronal plane perpendicular to the aforementioned two planes .The following relevant parameters were measured and recorded:(1) Length, width, height and area of bilateral coronary artery ostia .(2) The angle between coronary arterial outflow tract and aortic root in sagittal plane .(3) The spatial distribution of coronary artery ostia, aortic root and coronary artert sinus .Results The shape of left coronary artery ostia were more regular (round or oval) than right coronary artery ostia ( teardrop-shape or oval ).Calcification was more frequent in right coronary artery ostia (81/95, 85.26%) than that in left coronary artery ostia. There were statistical differences between left and right coronary artery in the parameters of ostial wide , area and height (t =3.85, 3.86, -4.49, all P<0.01).Most left coronary artery ostia were located inside the sinus (76/95, 80.00%), mainly in the upper third segment (69/95, 72.63%); while more than half of the right coronary artery ostia were found outside the sinus ( 53/95, 55.79%).The difference was statistically significant( χ2 =25.91, P<0.01).Conclusion The quantitative analysis of aortic root and coronary artery ostia based on the full-volume images originated from real-time 3D-TEE is feasible, which is helpful for further clinical research .
