1.Ranking Analysis of the PubMed cited Publications by the major Chinese medical institutions in 2013
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2015;28(4):337-341,345
Objective To obtain the overall picture of the PubMed cited publications by major domestic medical institutions in 2013;and to learn the distribution of the number of publication, published journals, impact factor of journal, and articles published in China and overseas. Methods Information was retrieved from PubMedplus database, and the statistical analysis was conducted to assess the distribution in the number of publications, published journals and impact factor of journals by major medical institutions in China. Results Top 30 medical institutions of China in 2013 published 12178 PubMed cited papers on 1890 journals,in which 10602 papers were in English accounted for 87.06%,and 1575 papers were in Chinese accounted for 12.93%.2552 papers were Published in the top 13 journals accounted for 20.96%.PLoS One published the most of total papers. Conclusions The level of journal that published papers for major domestic medical institutions needs to be improved, and each medical institution has its own advantage in different disciplines.
2.Effect of jujube on the expression of CYP2E1 and TNF-alpha in the hepatic tissue of mice with alcoholic liver disease.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(4):466-470
OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of jujube pretreatment on serum levels of AST and ALT, liver pathology, and the expression of cytochrome P4502e1 (CYP2E1) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) in the liver tissue of alcoholic liver disease (ALD) mice.
METHODSTotally 88 Kunming mice were randomly divided into the control group (n = 28), the model group (n = 32), and the jujube treatment group (n = 28). The animal model was prepared using intragastric alcoholism for mice in the model group and the jujube treatment group, while distilled water was intragastrically given to those in the control group. Extraction of jujube was intragastrically given to mice in the jujube treatment group at week 4, while equal volume of distilled water was intragastrically given to mice in the rest two groups. The therapeutic course lasted for 12 weeks. Serum levels of AST and ALT, liver pathology, and the expression of CYP2E1 and TNF-alpha in the liver tissue of ALD mice were observed after administration of jujube.
RESULTSCompared with the model group, serum levels of AST and ALT decreased, the liver pathology was improved, and the expression of CYP2E1 and TNF-alpha in the liver tissue decreased, showing statistical difference (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONJujube had certain effect in treating ALD.

China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Background and purpose:We have already reported viral macrophage inflammatory protein-Ⅱcan induce surface chemokine receptor CXCR4 internalizated.Based on the diverse biological functions of SDF-1?/ CXCR4,this study was to investigate the effect of SDF-1?on invasion and metastasis of human breast carcinoma MCF-7 cells.Methods:MCF-7 cell's ability of invasion, metastasis and anoikis were used as end points. The invasive ability was measured by the number of cells that were able to penetrate polycarbonates coated with matrigel. The metastastatic ability was analyzed by Transwell chamber. The anoikis ability was detected by FCM.Results:SDF- 1?+MCF-7 cells formed long and abundant pseudopodia, and only few filopodia were detectable in MCF-7 cells. It was shown that adhesive and metastasis capability of MCF-7 cells was enhanced with SDF-1?cocultured(P

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1995;0(04):-
We measured baseline and activated (stimulated by 2 ug/ml collagen ) cytoplasmic ionozed calcium concentrations ([Ca2+]i. [Ca2+ ]ic) in fura-2 loaded platelet to 31 patients with acute cerebral infarction and. 23 healthy controls. We also measured platelet calmodulin (CaM) content from part of the patients and controls. The result showed that [Ca2+]i , [Ca2+]ic and CaM were higher in patients (P

Objective To study the therapeutic efficacy of Chinese botulinum toxin type A (CBTX- A) in masticatory spasm patients. Methods 16 patients with masticatory spasm were treated with CBTX-A local injection.12 patients showed jaw clench with masseter and temporalis affected (type Ⅰ).Four showed jaw clench and deviation to one side with pterygoid muscle affected unilaterally or bilaterally (type Ⅱ).All patients showed paroxysmal clenched jaw with difficulty in opening their mouths. There were no other clinical manifestations.CT and MRI did not reveal any intracerebral abnormalities. The efficacy and adverse effects were observed. Results CBTX-A were injected into 16 patients, resulting in a significant improvement of symptoms in 13 cases (4 cases of unilateral type Ⅰ,7 of 8 cases bilateral type Ⅰ,2 of 4 type Ⅱ).The spasms ceased within 3-10 days after the injection, and the effects lasted for 8-26 weeks.Four patients were observed to have slight masseter weakness after the injections, which recovered within a few weeks. The benefit persisted after identical repeated injection. Conclusion CBTX-A injection is an effective and safe treatment for masticatory spasm.
