Objective To investigate the effect of nano carbon tracer for protecting parathyroid function in the surgery of thyroid cancer. Methods A total of 178 patients with thyroid cancer admitted in our hospital from Jun.2014 to Mar.2016 were collected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,89 cases in each group. The control group received routine surgery, while the observation group received nanocarbon suspension during surgery. The levels of serum parathyroid hormone and serum calcium in the 2 groups were measured at 3 days after surgery, and the patients with low parathyroid hormone, normal parathyroid hormone and low calcium were counted. Results The rate of ormal serum calcium in the observation group was 91.01%(81/89),significantly higher than 67.42%(60/89) in the control group (P< 0.05).The rate of normal parathyroid hormone in observation group was 94.38% (84/89),significantly higher than 64.04% (57/89) in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The nano carbon tracer is helpful for protection of parathyroid function in the surgery of thyroid cancer.
5.Experimental study on the effect of intravitreal nonsteroid antiinflamatory drug on the structure and function of retina
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 1996;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the retinal toxicity and verify the safe dose of intravitreal injection of nonsteroid anti inflamatory drug, diclofenac sodium. Methods Twenty eight healthy adult white rabbits were divided at random into 7 groups and received in every right eye the intravitreal injection of a single dose of diclofenac sodium solution ranging from 0.4~1.0 mg/0.1ml respectively, the left eyes were regarded as control ones. Before injection and on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th day after injection the electroretinography on both eyes was examined. On the 28th day after injection the retinas of two rabbits of every group were examined by using light microscopy. On the 10th and 30th day after injection the retinal tissues around the optic nerve disk of two eyes from every group at random were tested by using transmission electron microscopy. Results The ratio of amplitude of b wave of electroretinography in 0.4 mg and 0 5 mg groups had no significant difference from groups before injection, the retinal tissues showed no structural changes in light and electron microscopy examination. The ratio of amplitude of b wave of photoptic electroretinography in 0.6 mg groups in the early stage after injection was markedly reduced ( P

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2008;0(53):-
BACKGROUND: Serious lesion to liver function may cause the pulmonary artery hypertension and fluctuation of haemodynamics directly induces changes of pulmonary artery pressure during neo-hepatic stage in liver transplantation. OBJECTIVE: To observe the change of pulmonary artery pressure during liver transplantation and to explore treatment for pulmonary artery hypertension. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Controlled observation was carried out among the liver transplant recipients who were enrolled from the 181 Hospital of Chinese PLA from June 2004 to June 2006. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 13 patients, all males, were reviewed. Their ages ranged from 19 to 53 years. They were selective for the liver transplantation. METHODS: Undergoing general anesthesia, mean arterial blood pressure, central venous pressure, pulmonary arterial pressure and pulmonary arterial wedge pressure were continuously monitored by Swan-Ganz catheter method and reversible Fick’s law continuous monitoring. Available respiration administration, low dose of glyceryltrinitrate (0.1-5.0 ?g/kg/min) and Alprostadil (1.0-2.0 ?g) were administered to diminish elevated pulmonary arterial pressure and pulmonary arterial wedge pressure during the period after unclamping portal vein in liver transplantation. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Changes of mean arterial blood pressure and pulmonary arterial pressure. RESULTS: The mean arterial blood pressure deceased at the time of unclamping portal vein in all 13 patients, pulmonary arterial pressure and pulmonary arterial wedge pressure both increased significantly at 5 and 15 minutes within neo-hepatic stage, which were more obvious than those during anhepatic stage in 13 patients (P

International Eye Science 2014;(8):1473-1475
AIM: To evaluate the relationship between axial length ( AL ) , corneal and lens refractive power, and the refractive error in children.
METHODS:Totally 44 children 88 eyes with refractive error who underwent retinoscopy with cycloplegia, to be measured spherical equivalent refractive error. Axial length was measured by a noncontact optical biometry ( ZEISS IOL-Master) , and corneal K and anterior chamber depth ( ACD) were also measured by the same machine. The refractive power of the lens was calculated by using the SRK formula. The patients were divided into 3 groups, myopia (SE<0), hyperopia (SE>+0. 50D) and emmetropia ( 0 to + 0. 50D ). Linear Correlation and Regression were used to evaluate the correlation among the optical parameters.
RESULTS:Totally 44 subjects, 88 eyes, average 9. 04±2.39 years, spherical equivalent (SE) -3. 50D to +8. 75D. Hyperopic AL was shorter than the other two groups ( P<0.05), same trend in lens power. No significant differences among the 3 groups in corneal K and ACD. There was a negative correlation between age and SE, SE and AL, SE and lens refractive power, and there was a positive correlation between age and AL, age and lens power.
CONCLUSION:As the children's growing up, SE trends to myopia, and AL becomes longer, and lens power is stronger.
