Objective To explore the differentiation of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into dopaminergic neuron. Methods The mesenchymal stem cells were isolated from bone marrow. They were induced to differentiate into dopaminergic neurons by freated with bFGF, VitC and EGF at the third generation. Dopamine-associated protein and genes in the treated cells were examined by immumofluorescence and RT-PCR. Dopamine in the supernatant and endoplasm from culture system was determined by ELISA kit. Results The results showed that tyrosine hydroxylase, dopamine transporter and nerve neucleoprotein and Nestin,Nurr-1 genes were found. And the dopamine existed in the supernatant and cytoplasm from inducing culture system. Conclusion The rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells have the capacity of differenting into dopaminergic nurons.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug resistance and distribution of nosocomial infection (NI) pathogens. METHODS A total of 519 strains of NI pathogens during from Jan 2006 to Dec 2007 were completely surveyed. RESULTS Among all pathogens,Gram-positive cocci were 209 strains (40.27%),the main pathogen was Staphylococcus aureus. Gram-negative bacilli were 256 strains (49.33%). Fungi were 54 strains (8.28%). resistance the rate in nosocomial infectionis was increased year by year. CONCLUSIONS The Gram-negatives of NI pathogens are markedly increased year by year. The drug resistance rate of pathogens is higher and the clinically selected anti-bacterial drugs should be based on the bacterial culture and drug susceptibility test.

OBJECTIVE To intensify the management of the acupuncture department and prevent and control nosocomial infection.METHODS During the course of the management of the acupuncture department, the causes of nosocomial infection were found through analyzing the possible reasons of nosocomial infection and a series of relevant measures were taken to improve the control of nosocomial infection.RESULTS In order to control nosocomial infection in acupuncture department we needed to strength the disinfection management in the following aspects:air in the room, medical procedures and implement, medical staff hands and medical disposals.CONCLUSIONS Strict management is the important measures to reduce the nosocomial infection.

AlM:To explore the primary culture conditions for four kinds of lens epithelial cells ( LECs) of rat, rabbit, dog, and human, and measure their growth characteristics.METHODS:The lens capsule or anterior capsular tissue of rat, rabbit, dog and patient were removed by different methods, and they were cut into tiny pieces for primary culture by modified tissue adherent method. The morphological features of four kinds of LECs were observed under an inverted microscope.RESULTS: Four kinds of LECs of rat, rabbit, dog and human could be cultured primarily by tissue adherent method. With the evolution of tissue source, the adherent capacity of LECs gradually strengthened, cells form were changed from irregular polygon to oval, nucleus rounded and cytoplasm enriched gradually. Four kinds of LECs had fibrotic changes after several passages.CONCLUSlON: LECs of rat, rabbit, dog and human can be primarily cultured. This method lays the foundation for the mechanism research of caratact and related fields on the cellular and molecular levels.

Tripterygium wilfordii has exihibited multiple pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, immune modulation, anti-tumor and anti-fertility. T. wilfordii have been used for the therapy of inflammation and autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, immune complex nephritis and systemic lupus erythematosus clinically. However, it is well known that T. wilfordii has small margin between the therapeutic and toxic doses and could cause serious injury on digestive, reproductive and urogenital systems. Among all the organs, liver is one of the most remarkable targets of T. wilfordii-induced toxicities, and the damage is more serious than others. It is generally accepted that T. wilfordii-induced liver injury is a result of the combined effects of toxic elements of T. wilfordii. It is reported in several studies that the mechanism of T. wilfordii-induced liver injury may be related to lipid peroxidation, cell apoptosis and immune damage, and so on. Licorice is one of the most commonly used Chinese herbal medicine, with effects of heat- clearing and detoxicating, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective, reconciling various drugs, and so on. Licorice often accompany T. wilfordii in clinical application which can significantly reduce the liver injury induced by T. wilfordii. The attenuated effect is exact, but the mechanism is still a lack of in-depth study. This paper reviews the studies on T. wilfordii-induced liver injury and the related mechanism as well as licorice and other traditional Chinese medicine accompany T. wilfordii to reduce the injury in recent years, so as to provide reference for related research in the future.

Objective To analyse the risk factors of vulnerable plaque biomarker and to construct an early warning system. Methods Ninety patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome (ACS) hospitalized during December 2012 and December 2013 were selected. The coronary artery lesions were divided into type I, II and III plaque groups by the morphology of atherosclerotic plaque. Serum SAA, PLGF, sCD40L and Npt were measured. The results of SAA, PLGF, sCD40L and Npt were compared. Logistic regression model was fitted to explore the main influencing factors of the vulnerable plaque. Results SAA, PLGF, sCD40L, and Npt were main influencing factors of the vulnerable plaques, and the ORs were 1.61, 1.88, 1.96 and 1.79 respectively. Conclusion The detection of SAA, PLGF, sCD40L and Npt biochemical markers in patients with chest pain is important for predicting the vulnerable plaque and guiding clinical treatment.

Objective To investigate the changes of C- reactive protein( CRP ) and homocysteine ( Hcy)in the type 2 diabetes with depression, and its clinical significance and potential mechanism. Methods One hundred and twenty-four cases with type 2 diabetes were divided into the depression group(63 cases)and non-depression group( 61 cases ) according to the Self-Rating Depression Scale and verified by Self-Rating Anxiety Scale. The information including age, sex, education degree, body mass index, course of disease and the number of complications were recorded. The levels of CRP,Hcy,fasting plasma glucose( FPG ),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and blood lipid were measured. The depression group was divided into mild, medium and heavy group to compared the changes of Hcy and CRP. Results The levels of Hcy,HbA1c and the number of complications in depression group were 11. 5( 8. 6,15. 6 )μmol/L,( 10. 13 ± 2. 17 )%,and 2( 1,3 ) respectively, higher than that of non-depression group(8. 6(7. 4,11. 2)μmol/L,(9. 33 ± 2. 20)%,1(0,2)), while the education degree of depression group((9. 75 ± 3. 36)years)was lower than that of non-depression group((11. 56 ± 3. 73)years),and the differences were significant( t/Z = -3. 537,0. 952,-2. 339,0. 228 respectively;P ﹤0. 05). The levels of Hcy in mild, medium and heavy depression group were(8. 75(7. 45, 10. 45)μmol/L,12. 2(8. 90,14. 40)μmol/L,19. 50(14. 33,28. 03)μmol/L respectively and the difference was significant(F =25. 963,P =0. 000). No significance difference was found in terms of CRP level(2. 35 (1. 10,4. 92)mg/L,3. 25(1. 11,5. 68)mg/L,2. 32(1. 27,5. 41)mg/L;F=0. 194,P=0. 907). There was significant correlation between depression scores and Hcy( r=0. 615,P=0. 000). Conclusion Type 2 diabetes with depression is associated with the level of blood glucose, education degree and the course of disease. Hcy,not CRP is an independent risk factor of type 2 diabetes with depression.
